have breakfast with me || sunny morning || wholesome

Good morning friends! So today is my day off and I'm gonna make some breakfast and take it easy. The plants are really happy because the sun is coming through the window. It's been gloomy the past few weekends so it's a nice change. Here I'm just putting on an apron so I don't get anything on my nice nightgown when I'm cooking. It's also a really cute outfit. Aprons and nightgowns are a good way of dressing cottagecore in your daily life while also wearing pajamas to work. So first things first, we gotta make the bed which consists of a lot of pillow fluffing because I have a lot of pillows and I just hit them a whole bunch until they're kind of back to a normal pillow shape and I lay them against the back headrest. I kind of like for my bed to look a little bit messy. I feel like it makes it look more cozy. Also I found my glasses in the bed so that's good. And I don't really pay too much attention to how the blankets are laying on the bed. I've got two of them and then I just lay them on either side. I'll lay the pretty one over top of them. And of course after you're done making the bed you gotta do a plop. Okay time to go to the bear shelf in my kitchen. I like to decorate my kitchen with little teddy bears. So today I'm gonna be making what some people call eggs in a basket or toads in a boat or toads in a hole. It's got a lot of different names but it's essentially just toast with an egg in it but you cook the egg into the bread. So you start out by taking a circle of bread out of the middle of your slice of bread like that. And then you put butter in the pan because you don't want the bread to stick and also butter just makes it taste better. The extra little side of bread. And then you crack an egg in the middle. It's an egg in a basket. I like to add salt and pepper. You don't have to do this but you can. I feel like it makes it taste better and it's really satisfying to flip. And then you let it cook on the other side for a little while but not too long because well personally I like the eggs a little bit runny. I guess you could cook it longer if you don't like runny eggs. And here's the finished product. I saved the extra little piece of bread so that I can soak up more of the egg yolk. And I'm having tea this morning. I'm having sleepy time vanilla even though it's morning time but you know I can do that because it's my day off today. And let me tell you this is probably the easiest and most tasty breakfast that you can make. I'll sometimes put tomato jam on top of it and oh my goodness that is the best thing. The beautiful golden yolk. And here I am enjoying my breakfast in the sunshine. That's ham jumping up on the table. Don't worry he didn't get too close to the candle. The tea just looked so pretty in the sunlight just like ham. I added more ham content for everybody because ham is just the cutest thing in the world. Ham decided to crawl up and lay on my tummy this morning. He was being so sweet and so cuddly. Well thank you for watching everybody. Please remember to like and subscribe.
