It’s a monumental day in the garden today as I’m planting the very first of my annuals and they are blue Bush Lobelia.
Last year I had a few of these plants around the edge of my circular lawn, and I remember thinking how pretty it looked, and that I should add more the following year, so when I saw them in my garden centre this morning, I just had to grab them.
I hope it’s going to look as lovely as I’m hoping 😊

Hi everyone, it's Jeanette here from Enthusiastic Gardener. Look how well my seedlings have done,
they have now been outside overnight, they're on their own, I need to get these planted out
but just by leaving them out all day long over about the last four days,
they've had some wonderful sunshine, they're doing ever so well, so I really want to get them
into the ground. I'm done with babying these, as I said before it's a lot of work,
but what I'm going to do is just dot these around here, there and everywhere in my bottomless raised
pots, any gaps I can find they're going in. I'm also going to save half and I'm going to take
them over to Mum's and plant hers. Mum nearly moved very recently, moved house, she was going to move
right next door and unfortunately it all fell apart right at the last minute. I hope she doesn't
mind me telling you all this, I don't think she will, so we were very disappointed. So I want to
take some of these around to her garden, she loves her garden and brighten things up because she
didn't plant any bulbs or anything last autumn because she thought that she was going to move
and she didn't, so we'll make her garden look beautiful and cheerful. The other thing, I went
out today, had to go to the garden centre to get a birthday present, well I got the birthday present
but I also found these, I thought I need to get them, they're lobelia, beautiful, beautiful lobelia
and last year I had lobelia around the edges of my circle, it could tumble onto the grass because
I had fake grass, so it doesn't matter, you don't need to mow it, it looked gorgeous
and I remember thinking I must get that next year, well I went to the garden centre to get my friend
a present, saw them, I thought I had to grab them before they all go, so I think we're safe now
to plant things outside and I'm just going for it, so come and join me. It's a lovely afternoon
and she hasn't got me working. Well let's hope it looks as good as it does in the pictures which
I put up for you, it did look beautiful last year and I just remember, as I said, thinking I'd like
this all the way around, it looked gorgeous, so let's see, I don't think I'm going to get anything
else done today, to be honest, it's a beautiful Sunday, it rained all day yesterday so I couldn't
do anything then, today I'm just about to have my dinner, it's a Sunday and I think I'm just going to
chill for the rest of the day, so I wanted to get something out on a video for you, I was a bit
worried that I was going to be so lazy I wouldn't do anything, so I'm glad I've got something done,
the very first of my annuals and yes, I'm Jeanette, I'm the Enthusiastic Gardener, I hope you're having
fun in your gardens and I hope to see you very soon, thank you for watching, bye!
