Ladies and gentlemen, I have had a very early wake-up call. I'm receiving these images now
on my WhatsApp. My Lamborghini Diavel Ducati has arrived at Ducati Cambridge about a month early.
I got a text from the guys down at Ducati Cambridge that said that my bike was on the
production line. They said it was around three to four weeks before it was going to land in the UK
and it has been the speediest process. I do not know how this has happened because it is here
right now. I've shoved these clothes on so that I can put this camera on to give you guys a sense
of just how excited I am. Will is sending me these photos right now. Oh my God, this is the most
excited. Look at this, number 287 out of 630. This is a super rare bike. I need to jump in the
car and I've got an hour's drive up to Ducati Cambridge where I have to check this bike out.
I know I'm premature in terms of this is not registered yet. I cannot collect the bike,
haven't even tried to sort insurance out. That is going to be a hurdle to overcome,
but I'm jumping in the car and getting right up there. I need to see this bike in the flesh.
Let's go.
I've made it. I've arrived at Ducati Cambridge. The bike is there taking center stage.
I cannot describe the excitement. This is so weird for me that I'm looking at a motorbike
that there is something so iconic already and the flair of Lamborghini. Obviously,
the bike is created to collaborate with the Lamborghini Sian, their hypercar. There is one
of 630 in the flesh. Now, Ducati Cambridge obviously at the moment are shut to customers.
It is operating on a click and collect service. They are open for parts and servicing,
but the showroom itself is shut. What they've done is positioned the bike there for me so that I can
go and have a look at it. All of the Ducati Cambridge guys have headed inside just so that
I can have a little bit of time with the bike and bring you guys because whilst I've ordered this
bike, I'm here to share the journey with you. I've driven up in the GTR and ladies and gentlemen,
welcome. Oh, there goes my key to my Ducati Diavel Lamborghini. Look at how beautifully
finished and stunning this bike is. One of 630 and I do believe it is numbered.
I am number 287. It's got this copper bronze finish. Look at these Lamborghini influenced
wheels back here, a whole host of carbon fiber. This is going to need to get PPF. There's a van
just turned up here. Is it lunch? Looks like it's a lunch van, but we've got this new exhaust exit
here, carbon fiber, completely different to the standard Diavel. What's interesting with this
being a special edition bike, normally it's the same bike with all of the bells and whistles and
a new paint color. With this, there are so many adaptations from the Lamborghini Cyan. We've got
the wheels, we've got the color, we've got the red brake calipers and the carbon fiber all over
the place. I'm blown away. This is going to be an absolute monster. Of course, it's a little bit
more expensive than a standard Diavel, but I just am so excited to be the owner of this bike.
Now, there is a whole process that takes place with this. Obviously, it goes through a
PDI. It gets registered before the collection is ready, but as it stands, it is here. It has just
arrived from Italy and I had to come up here in the Nissan GT-R. I'm out of breath a little bit.
Look at the rear tyre. I love this detail here. Check this angle out. How cool is that? The paint
is perfect. It's got carbon fiber all down here. The seat, you can see the Lamborghini inspiration
throughout this bike. We've even got a Lamborghini badge here in Ducati, in satin black. I mean,
this is going to be my point of view as I ride. I've not ridden anything like this in my life.
There is going to be a huge learning curve for me on my first ride of this bike, but we've got a
few things that we need to sort out. Obviously, this goes through the PDI and registration process,
as I've mentioned. I've got to sort out insurance. I had a massive trouble trying to insure myself on
a couple of motorbikes for my first motorbike with Michelin. This is on a whole other level,
so we really need to work on a plan with that, but I feel like it's going to rain soon.
There's a little bit of moisture in the air, so what I'm going to do is say goodbye to my bike,
let the guys take it back inside. I need to jump back in the GTR and head back down, but
there we go, ladies and gentlemen. That is my bike. I can't believe I'm walking away from it.
It's a little bit sad, but there's just so many cool details. Look at the carbon fiber. This
is going to need a full PPF to protect it, so I will be taking this to NVN London.
Isn't that just the coolest looking thing I think I've ever seen? I'm terrified already of it,
but so excited at the same time. Ducati Cambridge, I will be back.
That is hands down the coolest bike I've ever seen. To jump back in the GTR and blast home on
these awesome roads around Cambridge here, I just get more excited about the whole prospect of being
able to collect that bike. Now, the timing of everything is bizarre because I've only just
taken delivery of the Ducati Hypermotard. Now, at the time, I wanted to buy my first bike around
Christmas time. I thought that the Diavel was going to be arriving April, May time, ready for
the summer, where I was able to get a few miles under my belt. I was going to get used to the
Hypermotard, and I was actually considering and still am considering owning both bikes alongside
each other. They both do two completely different things in the world of two wheels, but the Diavel
is so early. It's quite exciting, but also not what I was expecting or planning in the slightest.
The fact that I was able to move my deposit across from a V4 Streetfighter, which was the first
Ducati that I ordered, I moved it from the Streetfighter over to a standard Diavel. As
soon as I heard the rumors back in August that there was going to be a Lamborghini version of
the Diavel, the Diavel was my favorite Ducati, I was like, I have to move my deposit onto that.
I was the first person to actually put money down on this bike through Ducati Cambridge, which is
why I've got such an early bike. I wasn't expecting it to be this early. I'm so excited.
I need to get planning because I was not planning for this, but right now,
just going to enjoy the GTR on the way home.
We definitely timed that trip to perfection because around Stevenage, which is halfway
home from Cambridge, the weather just was a brick wall and it is now torrential rain.
Thankfully, we got everything that we needed to in the morning. Massive thank you to Ducati Cambridge
in just having the bike outside so that I can film it because as soon as I started to get those
photos through of the truck arriving at about 8.20 this morning, the excitement was too much to bear.
Obviously, creating the content on this journey, I announced on Instagram when the bike was revealed
back in November that I had ordered one, but I still didn't know then whether I was going to be
guaranteed a slot. They are so limited that I do believe Ducati Cambridge only have two bikes
coming in the UK from Ducati. The fact that I'm number one out of there is properly, properly
cool. To share this journey of buying my second bike so soon after the first one, the timing
isn't ideal, but I'll be able to have a balancing act. I'll be able to sort it out,
but what I need to do is insurance. I need to sort finance out. I need to sort out PPF.
I need to work out when I'm going to take delivery of it, what's going to happen,
what my plans are to it. I really cannot answer any of those questions at the moment because
the weather just is not made for motorbike riders and me being a fair weather rider,
as a lot of people that I've met claim to be, this is not the weather. You don't go around the
M25 and see everyone out on their motorbikes whilst it's torrential rain and about five
degrees outside. That Diavel is so much more of a monster than the Hypermotard. I really
want to get used to riding a Ducati on the Hypermotard and have the Diavel beautifully
presented just so that I can look at it. It is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen on two
wheels. I will leave it at that. I'm super excited. It's such a rare opportunity that I do
feel like this ranks higher than quite a lot of cars that I've bought in terms of that build up,
that excitement, knowing it's on the production line, knowing it's landed in the UK and now I
know that it's at Cambridge about an hour away and soon is going to be in my possession. I will have
the bike and summer is awaiting. Very exciting times, ladies and gentlemen. Let me know what
you think. Let me know what you think of the bike. Let me know what you think of the spec.
There is so much more detail that I can give you, but as the excitement is right up here with the
bike just landing, I wanted to bring you the first look at my bike that I will 100% be cruising
around in this summer on. Cruising around on. I still haven't got the terminology between cars
and bikes sorted quite yet, but I will leave it there. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much
for watching. Please subscribe and like this video and I'll see you soon. I was going to say
comment, comment, like, do whatever you need to do. I'll see you soon. Take care. Goodbye.
