Taking simple Christmas stems you can create a Christmas centerpiece, Christmas door decoration, or a simple Christmas table decor. Christmas video, I have got a unique tip that's going to make Christmas decorating so much
easier.
It's going to be using zip ties, so stay tuned.
For the first thing I want to show you, I'm going to make a really easy centerpiece.
I have got four different stems, and what I'm going to do is I'm going to put them
on top of each other and layer them.
This is a beautiful gem-like stem that's going to go on top, and then kind of spread them
out a little bit.
And here's what I'm going to do.
I'm going to take this zip tie, done.
I'm going to trim the stems a little bit shorter.
I did the same exact thing, I made another one, trimmed it, and I'm going to put them
together because I'm going to make a centerpiece, and again, I'm going to use a zip tie to put
them together.
I have made a bow.
I actually used three different ribbons.
It's wired together, so I'm going to take that wire and add it on to the centerpiece.
I'm going to place two beautiful deer on each side of this centerpiece.
Using those zip ties made this a very quick and easy centerpiece.
For the next idea, I have got a wicker door hang basket, and again, I'm going to put some
stems together, stack them on top of each other.
Don't worry about fluffing yet.
I'm going to do a magnolia on this side, and one on this side, and I'm going to take the
zip tie and put them together.
Make sure it's really, really tight.
Now that I've got them all put together, we're just going to set it inside that basket, and
I'm going to flip it over and just wire one of these pieces to the basket, just in case
you're going to put it outside.
Just make sure it gets secure.
I've made another bow, and I'm going to wire it to the front of the basket.
This is also, when you're wiring things to this basket instead of hot gluing it, that
means you can use it at different seasons.
Maybe for fall, you can put something different in it, and for spring, you can put beautiful
flowers in.
How beautiful is that?
Simple and easy.
For the last thing I want to show you to use with zip ties, again, I'm going to put some
stems together.
One, two, and three.
Still have the tags on them, I know.
And I'm going to zip tie them together.
And while this tree in front of me is still completely decorated, let me show you how
you could do that.
You would trim that.
You've got all three together, and you just stick it in the tree.
Well my husband has sung the praises of zip ties forever, and I never thought I would
use them in design, but they made it so much easier.
