WHAT'S IN MY DIAPER BAG WHILE TRAVELING / Daily Vlog

Hey guys, good morning. Welcome back to my channel. Today is Wednesday so I leave for my trip tomorrow and for those of you who are new, I'm going back to see my family. I'm originally from Kansas and I live out here in Arizona so I have a really busy day planned. And my daughter Scarlett, she's back there and we are at Liberty Market, one of our favorite places to come for brunch. So we are going to get some brunch with one of our friends. And then here, later this afternoon, I have to take Scarlett to her cranial technologies appointment for her doc band. And what else? Oh, and we have to pack today because I have not even started packing. Anyways, I'm currently waiting outside Liberty Market, waiting for my friend to get here. We're a little bit early. But I came early because I was hoping Scarlett would fall asleep in our car seat because I was going to have her in the car seat taking a nap and then use the stroller to take her into Liberty Market. However, the car seat's in Ty's car, my husband's car, so, did I say car seat? I meant stroller. The stroller is in Ty's car, I have the car seat, so I can't use the stroller which really sucks because I needed it today. I needed it to take it into the restaurant and then I need it for when we go to our head appointment later. So, I don't know, it's going to be a harder day now and I wanted to keep her in the stroller and not baby wear because I could baby wear, but it's supposed to be a high of 120 today and I know I've been talking about this on social media a ton, but guys, this is really hot and I'm not looking forward to today and just having her out in this heat, it makes me worried. I don't know. I think it's because she has the dock fan on also, so she's already at a higher body temperature. Hi, good morning. Did you just wake up? You ready to get out? You look sleepy. Hi. Hey guys, so we're home and it's almost 1230, so we really need to get going to our cranial technologies appointment. Scarlett came home and passed out, but I feel bad because I'm going to have to go wake her up. Look at her. I don't know. I just always feel so bad when I have to wake her up when she's sleeping. I know that's just part of, like she's not going to be able to sleep always. She's going to have to get woken up sometimes, but I don't like it. Are you enjoying your morning? Ty says he looks like, hey Arnold, like a football head because of his ears right now. Whenever he gets groomed and he's all brushed out, they're always so funny looking. Do you have a football head? Honey, you got to wake up, sweetie. I know you're sleepy. I know. We got to go. Hi. We got to go to your doctor's appointment. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm going to put her in just a onesie because it's seriously so hot. Oh yeah, this one's so cute. I've showed you guys this before when I first got it in, but this is from, oh honey, hold on. This is from House of Luna Boutique and they make the cutest little onesies and some of them have the funniest saying. This one says what the fox. I think it's hilarious. So I'll put this on her. This will keep you nice and cool. Hi sweetie. We had to do an outfit change because somebody had a blowout at the restaurant. So we're in outfit number two of the day, but this is a little hot. So we're going to put you in some light clothing. Guys, how cute is this onesie on Scarlett? Seriously. What the fox, Scarlett? What the fox? So funny. You're so funny. So she's wearing her what the fox onesie from House of Luna Boutique and then she has her little amber teething necklace, or actually this is a bamboo teething necklace, or hazelwood, something like that. Look, she scratched her nose. Poor baby. Silly girl. Beautiful. At least she wakes up in a good mood. I know a lot of kids who don't wake up in good moods. So every time she wakes up from a nap, whether it's a short one or I have to wake her up, she's always happy. We just got here and I'm going to, actually no, I was just going to carry Scarlett inside but I think I'm going to take her, it's going to be so heavy, I think I'm actually going to take her car seat inside because if I leave it in the car it's going to get way too hot. It's already, let me see the weather, currently 115 degrees out. So I think I should probably take the car seat in with us because otherwise she's going to be even hotter when I put her back in her car seat. Guys, this heat, I wish I could just be at home right now. This is not fun. It's seriously so hot out there my eyelashes are burning. Hi Scarlett. So we are in our fourth outfit of the day, didn't we? So that cute little fox onesie lasted about an hour. Thanks a lot. It's over here currently soaking in the sink. Hey guys. So we got back from Scarlett's appointment and I'm doing laundry right now, trying to get everything cleaned for leaving tomorrow and her appointment went really well. They said probably we're looking at like four to five more weeks. So that means by the end of the, I cannot talk, I'm seriously so tired. By the end of July, we should have her helmet off completely, maybe sooner. So we go back beginning of July for another checkup. So we'll see how things are going. But anyways, her head is like rounding out really well, her ears are moving back to place. So it's amazing like the progress that she's already made. Anyways, I'm seriously like this day, I'm so tired. Like I'm so ready just to be done. But I'm trying to get things cleaned up. I'm trying to get packed. And Scarlett has not had an actual nap today, which is really just thrown everything off. And she's not sleeping right now. So I'm going to go get her. Are we just not going to sleep? Hello. Are we not going to sleep? Oh, it's bright. Hi, you just want to wake up? Do you just want to wake up? You don't have to sleep. I really don't care if you don't want to sleep right now. Guys, look at my cute little setup that I did with all of Scarlett's pillows from Project Whim. I think it's super cute to have right by the crib. Hey Scarlett, what are you doing? Scarlett's playing on the floor. And I have everything that I'm bringing. And this looks like a lot, but trust me, this is not very much compared to what I packed last time. And again, I'm going to be gone for seven days. So like today, we've actually been through four outfits. So I'm going to be able to do laundry there, obviously. It's my parents' house. But I do want to be a little prepared in case something like that happens. But I'm also not overpacking. So I have two packs of diapers because last time we went through a full pack. I hear you, Scarlett. And then these are the cute new 4th of July prints. So I'm really excited about those. And then I'm bringing six pairs of pajamas, which we're going to be there for seven nights. But I know she'll be able to wear a pajama more than once. And I can do some laundry. I'm bringing two burp rags. I'm bringing two different types of swimsuits. Oh, really? I'm bringing two swimsuits. Her one I've showed you guys before. And then I'm bringing this one. It's like a swim diaper. And then it has sleeves. So if we're really out in the sun, she'll be really protected because she is super pale. I'm bringing a swim turban. This is from Little Knots. You can find them on Instagram. And I'm bringing a sun hat. I know she can't really wear headbands. But I just wanted to bring a few in case we do pictures. Because you guys know me. And I can't go a week without photos. I am bringing two TD necklaces for Scarlett. I actually might move one of these to the diaper bag. But these are from Getting So Crafty. And then, as far as clothing goes, I am bringing, I think, nine outfits. So I have all of my racerback tanks from Southern Bell Vinyl Boutique. I have a really cute outfit from Kookaburra Baby. This is from Target. And then I have some other cute outfits that are also really simple. And then I have two swaddle blankets. These are both from Sweet Ellie Sue. And then these are just some random onesies that I can throw in the diaper bag in case we have a blowout or something. Oh, hold on. And then these are also my diaper bag outfits. So I have two. They're just one piece. These are from Old Navy. So they're really easy to change her into in case we have a blowout, which we've been having a lot of lately. And then I have three pairs of socks. You really won't need these, but some of the pajamas don't have feet. So I want to have those just in case. I'm bringing a few bibs. These are three bibs. And then I have her bows. This one's from Elbel Baby. And she actually made it so it can attach to Scarlett's helmet. But then she can also wear it when her helmet's done because there's a clip on it. So it has a little... You guys can see it has a little Velcro piece there and it just goes right on to her helmet. And then these are from Avery's Bands Bows. And she makes bows specifically for dock bands and for helmets. So they all have Velcro on them as well. So these are the bows she wears every single day. And then I'm going to use this little bag. These are what the swaddle blankets come in when you buy them from Sweet Ellie Sue. And I use these for my bows, so I'm going to stick all my bows in that. And then I'm bringing Scarlett's Beauty Counter's Baby Daily Balm. And this helps with her eczema. I'm bringing her sunscreen. We use the Aveeno Baby. And then I have her Safety First Kit. This has some Tylenol in it. It has her nail clippers, a brush, all that kind of stuff. I don't have wipes packed because my mom is getting some wipes at the store for us so we don't need to worry about bringing those. Oh, really? Oh, somebody's calling me. I hope it's Mom. Hi! She keeps, Indy, she keeps scooting herself underneath the changing table. Scarlett, what are you doing, girlie? What are you doing? Hey! Oh, hi! What are you doing? She's able to, like, push herself, or scoot herself back now with her arms. Oh, hold on. Out of all the toys, a diaper and a pack of wipes are her favorite. Woo! Ow, what are you doing? Mmm! Oh! What are you doing? Scarlett! You guys! What is everybody doing on me? I laid Scarlett down in her crib because she has not had, like, a normal nap today and she's so tired and I know the rest of the evening is going to be miserable so she's currently crying in her crib but I think she's just, like, overly tired so I'm hoping she goes to sleep and it actually looks like she's going to sleep. Um, but I was just talking to my mom because she, my dog's right here, by the way, staring at me. I was just talking to my mom because she picked up some stuff for Scarlett and it's, like, the funniest thing because I think she's making fun of me vlogging. I got these things for Scarlett. I thought maybe we could try them, just see what she thinks. And then I got these cute little My First It's kind of funny. She's kind of making fun of me, but I'm doing laundry slash also packing because like, as I'm doing laundry, I'm taking stuff out because it's stuff that I wear because honestly, my closet full of clothes I probably wear, like, five t-shirts. Okay, guys, so this is what I'm bringing. Pretty much the same as last time except a whole lot less. Um, if you guys haven't seen my vlog on my last video, go check it out. I'll link it down below. Um, from the last time I packed, but I packed way too much last time, so I have just a bunch of comfy t-shirts because honestly, that's all I'm gonna wear. I have a swimsuit, my swimsuit cover-up. This is Billabong. This is from Francesca's. Um, I have one nice dress, just in case we go do anything that I need to wear something more than a t-shirt. Um, this is from Pink Blush. I have a couple pairs of denim shorts. These are all from American Eagle, I think. Um, they're all high-waisted. I really like the high-waisted shorts. And then I have a pair of Nike leggings and a pair of Under Armour shorts. Um, I have my stroller bag because I am gonna be bringing my stroller again, and I'm gonna put this can of Enfamil in her, er, in my bag. Scarlett's still sleeping, by the way. And then I have my little garments bag, which is super handy when I travel. So I've been making a list of things that, like, I still need to pack that I haven't packed yet. Um, on my phone. So then in the morning, like, things that I can't really pack yet, uh, but I don't want to forget them because I keep going throughout the day and I'm like, oh, I need that. Um, so yeah, I've been writing them down. So I still have, like, the monitor, bottles, my makeup, my straightener, Scarlett's sound machine, my, ugh, my phone charger, that kind of stuff. And I'm already forgetting things. I need some shoes. And then this is my little jewelry box with all my jewelry inside it. Okay, you guys, I thought I'd show you what is inside my diaper bag for traveling. And this obviously isn't everything. I'm going to have to add my bottles right here when it's actually time to go. But I have as much packed as possible. So, to start, I have two teething necklaces. One for me, one for her. And then in this little pocket, I have a copy of her birth certificate because you need that to fly with a baby. And then I have a teether. I don't know if I'm actually going to bring this. I prefer to bring any toys that can be connected to her because I don't want her dropping her toys on the airport floor or on the airplane. It kind of grosses me out. So, I like these because I know they're not going to fall on the ground. I also have some baby mum-mum bars for her in case she gets hungry. Or if I just need to entertain her, I have the Honest Wipes. I have formula and I have more formula over here just in case. And then over here, I have a burp rag for her. And then I have an extra outfit in case we have a blowout. Over here, I have her Gerber Puffs. These are sweet potato flavor. I have six diapers just in case. These are the Honest diapers. Back in here, I have little baggies in case we have a blowout. And back in here, I have my Glitter and Go spray. And I actually have a coupon code for you guys if you guys are wanting some of this. This is a bathroom spray. You spray it before you go, but I use this for my diaper bag. Also, whenever Scarlett has a blowout, I just do a squirt in my bag and it's amazing. It smells so good. And this is the Razzle Dazzle Lemonade scent. So, I love keeping this in my diaper bag. And what else? I think that's pretty much everything. In here, I have nothing. That's usually where I put my phone. And then this is like my pocket. I have my sunglasses. These are my Fermoo optical sunglasses. Hey guys! It's a lot later now and Scarlett's in bed and I think I have everything packed and ready to go for the morning. I'll just need to do those little things when I get up in the morning, like her sound machine and stuff like that. I already told you guys about it. But, I just ate some dinner. I had some eggs and some bacon, which is pretty much all I've been eating lately. And so now I'm going to go edit this vlog so I can get this up for you guys while I'm gone. And then I need to get to bed because our flight leaves really early in the morning. I think we need to leave our house at like I don't even know. I'm going to have to get up at like 5 probably. And then we need to leave here by 5.30. So, it's going to be a really long day tomorrow. Anyways, you guys, thank you all for watching my channel.
