EMPTY HOUSE TOUR 2020! NEW BUILD HOME! / Caitlyn Neier

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Today's video is going to be a very exciting video because I am sharing our brand new house. Today's video is going to be an empty house tour. We bought a four bedroom, three bath house plus a den and it's all one level. It's brand new. We actually bought a model home so it's a new community and this was the home that was shown. There are so many fun little design features and upgrades in this house and I just think it's going to be the perfect house for our family. If you guys are new here, a little backstory. We are a divorced family who has actually decided to work things out. So me and my ex-husband slash boyfriend, we bought this house together. We have one daughter. Her name is Scarlett. She's three years old and we are putting our family back together and I'm just incredibly grateful. I did not think we would ever be here today but here we are. Anyways, enough of me talking. Let's go ahead and jump on into the house tour. Okay, I'm not going to share the very front of the house but this is the little entry and I love how it's like this cute little arch in the front door. I just think it's adorable and I love the upgraded door with the windows. It's very modern and I love the blue. So pretty. So when you walk in, you see this a giant hallway. Our floors are going to need cleaned and everything but this is the hallway. You can also turn to the right over here which I'll take you guys first and there's two bedrooms. One and then two over here and then there's a shared bathroom. Here's what the door looks like from this side. It's so pretty. I love the windows. Anyways, let's go to this side of the house first. We couldn't figure out if these were tile or laminate but we're pretty sure this is laminate and all the walls are, there's a couple different tones but everything's super neutral which I love but let's go ahead and go into the first bedroom. So this is actually gonna be the spare bedroom and potentially a nursery someday but it's a pretty simple bedroom. Pretty light fixture. It has like a two-tone paint right now which I actually don't hate so I don't know. I would have never done that myself but it doesn't look bad. The number one thing we're gonna have to do as soon as we move in is put blinds on the house because there's no blinds anywhere so that's something we're gonna have to do but there's a light fixture, closet. Hi! Whose room is this gonna be? What do you think? Grandma's? Maybe. Yeah, there's a closet over here. Yeah, that's right. This one has a really pretty view too. There's a park right there by the way so there's a park right across the street which is awesome. Can you show everybody where your room is? Where's your room? That's your room! So this is the second bedroom. Really pretty light fixture. Yep, there's Scarlett's closet. The walls are actually two-tone which I don't love the dark gray but we're actually gonna wallpaper this with the loom well wallpaper so I'm just gonna leave it this color but this is Scarlett's room and the bedrooms have this really like high-quality carpet. I'm not like a huge carpet person but this is good carpet. I also really love the doors. Everything is just so nice. I love how modern these doors are. I love the black fixtures. So pretty. Anyways, so the two bedrooms and then they share a bathroom right here so this will be like our guest bathroom slash kids bathroom. Actually, this might just be more of the kids. I don't know yet but this one has tile on the floors like this gray tile and I just love all like the black fixtures. Pretty simple bathroom. A little window up there and then also this is gonna be so nice for this being like the kids bathroom. There is a little linen closet behind the door so we can store all the things in here which is really nice. There's so much storage in this house and then when you go back into the hallway it's like this really long hallway and the way this house is built is great for the Arizona heat. So there they are. Okay, so we can go this way or this way. This way has like these beautiful barn doors. They're gray and this is gonna be the playroom slash like extra room but I'm gonna put Scarlett's toys in here and this is where we will have the playroom which is awesome. This is like a den so this is the den. You could make this an office. You could do like a formal dining room in here but for us a playroom just makes sense. And then when you go to the other side of the hallway this is gonna be like Ty's little area. There's a bedroom back here. This is laundry, bathroom, garage. So I'll take you guys back here first to the extra bedroom. This is where Ty is gonna have his office and set up like his computers and stuff because he has a bunch of monitors that he uses but this wall is so cool. This is like one of the design elements of the model home and I don't even know what you call this but it's just very unique and I love how it just like adds extra to the room. So this is gonna be Ty's corner. There's a closet in here too. This one has a little bit of a walk-in closet so just some good extra storage. It's actually bigger than I realized. Once you leave the spare bedroom this is the laundry. So the other really cool thing about this model home is all of the appliances came with it. So the washer, the dryer, there's some upgraded appliances in the kitchen so we got so lucky but I've never had a laundry room and I'm so excited. If you guys have been following along for a while you know that my laundry in our old house was in the garage so this is a huge upgrade for us. There's pretty cabinets up top, so much storage. There's like this little area where we could add a sink if we wanted more storage. I'm just so excited about this room. I'm gonna make this super cute too. Anyways once you leave the laundry room you can go into the bathroom. So this will probably be the guest bathroom actually but there's again the same tile. This one has a different countertop so this is like a it's like almost like a tan quartz and I love the tile in here for the shower. It's really pretty. Okay and then once you leave the bathroom this little area over here, let me find a light, there we go. So this is a little nook where we can put like some kind of area where we can keep our shoes and backpacks and that kind of stuff. This is just a little closet with a bunch of random stuff in it that they still have to take care of and then this is the garage door which the garage is so nice. I'm so excited about the garage so is Ty. I don't know what this is. I think we have a security system too which is awesome but let me get the light on in here. So we have like the upgraded garage flooring so it's a two-car garage. It does there's also like some extra area over here where we could put like tool racks and stuff. How excited are you about the garage? I love the flooring. What do you think? Should we go show them the kitchen, the living room? Okay. Okay so coming out of the garage we'll go into the kitchen slash dining slash like main area. The password is it please? Anyways so here's the kitchen. So kitchen, dining, living area with this beautiful setup which I'll share more in a second. Okay so here is the kitchen. I love the kitchen. I love the white cabinets. I love this like I don't know what you call that little detail up there. Very very pretty. So this countertop is the same that I showed you guys in the bathroom but it's like a I think it's a quartz granite mix or something like that but it's like a sand color and it's beautiful. It's something I would have never picked out but I love it because it like all ties in with like that color right there. Anyways we have this nice big island where I'll put my bar stools right there and then I love the sink. This giant sink. There's also a water Ty is it called water osmosis? Reverse osmosis? Sorry I'm not familiar but I know it filters the water which is really nice. So we do have a system and we have like a really nice gas stove. Really nice microwave. All of this comes with the house which is just awesome and then same with like the fridge. We don't have to buy any of this stuff. The backsplash is like this giant subway tile too which is just beautiful. I just love all the details in here. This pantry door was an upgrade and we actually have the option to put the glass one on or this one which is just kind of in there right now but like I like the glass but I'm just gonna have to always keep my pantry clean. That's my only thing against it which I think I can but it's gonna be something that bothers me I know but it's really pretty. So here's like a bigger bigger view of it. Here's the dishwasher and then this will be like the little coffee nook over here. I also really like the lighting in here. It's like bronze up there and then just like black matte pendants. Anyways this will be like the little coffee bar. I love these like little square windows and this fixture I'm obsessed with. I love love love this fixture. This will be like the dining. We'll have our dining area set up. Right below the birdcage. Ty calls it the birdcage light. And then this will be the living area and I love love love all of this going on. So this is the same material as Ty's bedroom. It's like but I don't know what you call this. My bedroom. Your bedroom? That's what I'm calling it. What do you call this though? It's like textured bamboo maybe. That's yeah that's what it reminds me of. But it's beautiful. Yeah I don't know what we're gonna do with this space down here. I feel like it's kind of random because we don't have cable or anything. I don't know maybe fill it up with some plants or something. Yes I love the fireplace. I wanted a fireplace so bad and the tile is just beautiful. Like I can just see me putting stockings there at Christmas time with a tree right there and it's just gonna be beautiful. Like this is something I really wanted and I can just envision it. Also look at the view of the backyard. I'll show you guys the backyard in a second. But like I said we are gonna be taking all of these curtains down. So these are just like show curtains I guess. They're just like these little tiny bars with just curtains right there and it was just for the model home. We're gonna do pretty wooden shutters right here. So there'll be shutter blinds there. Shutter blinds there. And then we'll probably take down the curtain. Anyways moving on to this little area. This is like the, you're playing tag. This is like, this will be my office area. This could have been like an optional wet bar but we didn't get the wet bar. We got this little desk set up. So I'll put a chair here. I think I'm gonna do like a wallpaper right here. I think we'll probably take this weird thing down. I don't know what this is. Ty doesn't like this but I'm not completely against it. I think it's literally just like a piece of decor but it is magnetic. But I don't know. We'll see. We'll see. But this is gonna be really cute. This will be a fun little small space project I'll do eventually. But I do think this will be my office space. And then going back here out of the living room there's a closet. So a nice little linen closet. And then this is the master bedroom with a really weird design feature which I can't decide if I love or hate. I think I love it because it's so unique but we'll have to get our furniture in here and decide once everything's in here. I love the light fixture and I love the size of the room. Love the giant window. Again we'll have shutters there. Anyways this is the master. And then over here is the master bathroom which I'm also really excited about. I feel like I keep saying that. But it has a double sink. Has beautiful cabinets all throughout the house. They're the same cabinets. And double sinks was a must. Has a nice big mirror with these little what do you call these? Medicine cabinets on both sides which is really nice. So those are nice to have so you can like see the back of your hair when you're doing your hair. And one thing we really like about this house is this shower because not only is it a oh god that's a spider. Oh my god. First thing we're doing is having bug people come. It's a like a dual head shower so there's a shower head there. Shower head there. There is a seat in there too. It's just like a massive shower and it's beautiful and it's everything I could ever want. I'm so excited about this shower. That's gonna bother me big time. Ty's outside otherwise I'd yell at him to come kill it. I can't do it. I just can't do it. Anyways this is the closet which it's a really really good size. With some good space for all of our stuff. The last little area in this space is the toilet room and I love how it's separate. So that is the bathroom. I'll take you guys to the backyard now. So we have these big sliding glass doors right here and the the pro like the best thing about buying a model home is we got a new house and we also don't have to do the landscaping because the landscaping gets really really expensive. Anyways this outside space is great. I'm so excited to decorate this. We're gonna do like some kind of like couch setup here with a rug. I want to maybe put a fan up here with some misters. That's definitely like a must-have in Arizona and then we have a built-in grill over here with this nice space for cooking and then I want to do some kind of like table and chairs over here and I just love all of the all of the plants, all of the flowers, the trees, the landscaping. It's just beautiful. The other thing I really love which is like a huge upgrade in Arizona is the turf. We have turf which is so nice because in Arizona grass dies like really fast because it's I mean we live in the desert so grass just doesn't really last. So having turf in your backyard just makes it look nice year around. So with the turf and the pavers with like a table here and chairs and then our grill we'll hang some lights up here, have some couches with a rug. It's just gonna be a really nice little outdoor living space and definitely gonna be a project of mine. They're playing hide-and-seek still. Also this house I'm not quite sure how any of this works yet. We're still like we have to do our walkthrough and they're gonna explain it all to us but it is a smart home so there's a lot of like random different things we can do. There's a like a security system. We can control things through our phones and I don't know exactly. Also I don't think I mentioned this yet either there is surround sound. So we have surround sound throughout the house including outside so we can play music all throughout the house through the surround sound system and it'll just be like the perfect little what'd you say? Yeah every room has surround sound so it'll be like the perfect hosting place. Sorry for the background noise but so many fun videos are gonna be coming to my channel including moving vlogs. My necklace is backwards. Including moving vlogs, decorating videos. I cannot wait to start decorating this place. I have so many ideas, so many fun ideas and I'm gonna be walking you guys through everything that I do. It's like my favorite part of moving.
