Hi everybody, I'm Mark Wallace and you probably know me from Mark on a Bike, riding a motorcycle
around the world. Well now I have this guy. This is a 2011 Land Rover LR4. It's got some issues,
it's got mechanical problems, but I want to take this and repair it. I want to do it over. I'm
going to have a do-over on this car so I can go overlanding and have some adventures in a
four-wheel drive. So I guess that makes this my Land Rover do-over land. Yeah, Land Rover do-over
land. Overland. Land Rover do-over land. That's what it is. It's an adventure series with this
car right here, this 4x4 truck. So what I want to do is first off I need to take this old Land Rover.
It's got 180,000 miles. I bought it cheap. I bought it for $10,000. It's got mechanical issues. I need
to fix all of that stuff and then I want to take it on some adventures. And those adventures, who
knows what they're going to be. It depends on what I can do to make this road worthy. But for sure
around Arizona and Colorado, but maybe even some places farther away like maybe Alaska or down to
Baja or down to Guatemala or even Panama. Or our stretch goal is to take this guy all the way down
to Patagonia and South America. I want to have some fantastic adventures. So it's a brand new
series. Land Rover do-over land. And to do that, first thing is to fix the truck. Problem with that
is I don't have any money to do this. So everything has to be done on a very low budget, which means
I'm going to have to do this myself. I'm not a mechanic. So that means I have to learn how to go
in there and get greasy and oily and rip stuff out and put it in and get the tools. I need your help
to learn how to do all of this stuff. I've already done some of the repairs on this truck. I'll make
some different videos to show you sort of what I've done here. And then I want to go on some
4x4 adventures. Now I've gone all over the world on my motorcycle, shifty drifty, and now it's time
to go on a 4x4 overlanding. Maybe even make this into an expedition vehicle. I don't have any
experience with that, but the good news is I have some great friends that are overlanders. They're
going to teach me all of the things that I need to do to my 4x4 to convert it into a true overlanding
vehicle. And so I'll be partnering with people that I've met over the course of my ride around
the world to convert this to a true expedition overlanding vehicle. So I hope you'll join me
on the Land Rover do over land. It's a great series. Make sure that you click on the subscribe
