REVOLUTION BEAUTY ADVENT CALENDAR! _ _AFFORDABLE MAKEUP ADVENT CALENDAR_

You could probably whack it up your leg, like, do a line. I need something gold and I need something red. Basically something to make you look not dead. Yes! Yes, yes, yes! I start this video, what if I told you that you could get advert calendars for much cheaper? It can be done. Well, my little advert calendar addicts, you can do this by using the Google Chrome extension and the app called ShopTagger. I have been using ShopTagger for the last two years now. I've spoken about this many times on this channel. I love this app and Google Chrome extension. I have saved so much money over the last few years. I get asked so many times, El Toro, how do you pull the advert calendars? And if I'm honest with you, I do it through ShopTagger because you can be notified when one, advert calendars or anything else goes onto discount and two, when it comes back in stock. Like I've just mentioned, I have saved so much money on the advert calendars. I get such a buzz when I get a notification on my phone or via email because you can opt in which one you want. And it just excites me because an advert calendar, which is discounted, feels so much better and you're totally fine buying it. Well, I am anyway. I've also used ShopTagger for other things like clothing, especially when my size is out of stock. I find that really frustrating when I'm shopping online and just being notified when my size is in, I can go straight on it and buy it before it sells out again. I'm just gonna grab my laptop and just show you how you can download it. So you can find this in the app store, just type in ShopTagger or you can go to www.shoptagger.com. So once you've signed up, all you gotta do is click get the button, get the free button, and then you just need to click add to Chrome. And voila, it is as easy as that. So just to show you how it works, I've gone onto the very page and they've got a few advert calendars on here. So this Nails Ink one, I like the look of, but I wanna know when it goes on discount. Go to the little ShopTagger icon in the top bar, and then I wanna be notified when any price changes. And then I'm gonna pop it to my beauty advert calendar list. So as you can see to the left, I have a beauty advert calendar list and you can easily create your own list. It's super, super easy to do. Okay, the turn of the Revolution Makeup advert calendar. Last year, Revolution did four different advert calendars. So this is the first one to be released. So this is one of the smaller size. I hope they do their Christmas tree. I'll be so upset if they don't. So I'm kind of keeping my fingers crossed for that. But this one is available, it is 50 pounds, and the contents inside is worth, gonna have to check. It actually doesn't say, which is a bit strange. So with this one, you do open it like a book. Now, I need to comment on the color because I'm loving this burgundy berry color. So, so festive. Door number one. It looks like we have a revolution advent calendar staple. First up, we have a baked highlighter. These have been in the revolution advent calendars for ages. And to be honest with you, the baked highlighters are absolutely incredible. The pigmentation is just fabulous. So here we've got like a nice frosty white color. Door number two. Not gonna lie, next year, I would like to see them do like a box calendar. I know the big Christmas tree is box, but I don't know, change things up a bit. We have a lip color. We have a lipstick. So the shade of this one is, oh my goodness, very autumn. It doesn't have a name color on it. So I'm just gonna describe it to you. Oh, okay. I would say that this was like a perfect nude rosy color. Beautiful and buttery. Day number three. I don't think they did this last year. We have an eyebrow pencil. Oh my goodness. I love getting eyebrow products. So I know a lot of you are probably thinking, it might not suit me. Like the color might not be right. But with this shade, you can definitely press lighter if you've got a lighter brow. But if you've got a darker brow, it comes out much darker. Day number four. It looks a little bit like a powder. It is. It's a baking powder. Again, I don't believe we had this last year. So the tone is definitely on the yellow side. It isn't dusty to touch, which is fabulous. So a yellow tone would be perfect for covering anything like dark circles underneath the eye or any bruises. I hope you don't get any bruises on your face, but it's good for covering up bruises. Door number five. Oh, this is really long. Oh, I think it's concealer. No, it's an eye primer. We definitely had this last year because I remember thinking it was concealer last year. I should really know by now that it's actually eye primer. What I particularly like about this eye primer is that it's quite light. So it really does bring out the color on top. So pop this on first, pop on your eyeshadow and just makes it pop a bit more. Door number six. We have a brush. Is it rose gold like last year? It's not. Oh, I like that. It matches the advent calendar. Great. Okay, well, I hope there's some sort of blusher in here because that's what I use this brush for, but I guess you can use the powder. We've got to do the bristle test. I can't believe I've not done a bristle test yet in the advent calendar series. Yep. No bristles are coming out here. For those of you wondering why I do the bristle test, I do it because when you're applying product onto the face, you don't want any hairs going on it. Like, if that makes sense, you just don't want any hairs falling on your face. So that's why I do it. Day number seven. Up next, we got some clear lip gloss. So this is something that I would use on top of the lipstick, perhaps just to give that extra shine to the lip. Very easy just to apply. Day number eight. We have another brush and this is, oh, I lost it. Come back. Hey, found you. Here we've got a travel size eyeshadow brush. So I'm hoping that there's going to be eyeshadow in here. Well, last year there was definitely eyeshadow. So I'm going to hold out for that. Store number nine. Oh, another lip colour. We have another lipstick. Oh, slightly, slightly the same to the other one. Okay, no, it is different if you're wondering. So this is much more of a plummy red tone, whereas this one is more of like a nude pink. I can only describe this one as a berry red. Again, to come out is that really nice buttery lipstick. So it isn't going to be drying on the lip, which is ideal throughout the colder months. Day number 10. A mascara. A small mascara. Oh no, it's not. No, no, no, no, wait, I change it. It's a brown gel. Perfect. Goes really, really nicely with our eyebrow pencil. I love a bit of gel. And as you can see, the head is very, very small, which is perfect for brushing those eyebrows properly. That gets an A star. Day number 11. I think this might be a palette of some sort. It is, yay. Okay. I love getting these in the advent calendars. It's just, it's just perfect. It really is a nice travel size eyeshadow palette. Perfect for Christmas. So you've got like the shiny red, the gold, you've also got like a glitter black color, which would be great for a smoky look. And you've also got great day colors. So you've got the beiges, you've got the browns, you've got the cream. This is amazing. Favorite product so far. Day number 12. Here we do have a mirror. We do get this every single year. So I guess it'll be good to pop in your handbag or to take traveling with you, like maybe on the plane and top up your lipstick. I hope I don't have any lipstick on my teeth. Day number 13. I think we have a bronzer. Do we have a bronzer? We do. Okay, I am very happy that there isn't an overkill of highlighters and strobes in here. Last year and the year before, it was just overkill. There was too much highlighters. And if you liked highlighters, it would be the perfect advent calendar. But there's much more versatility in this advent calendar, which I really, really like. So the bronzer isn't the darkest bronzer. It is quite light. So you can either use this as a contour if you wanted to, or a little bit on your cheeks. I guess you can definitely use this as a powder if you do have more of a darker tone to your skin. Door number 14. Okay, to go with our brow collection, well, our new brow collection, we've got an eyebrow brush. Do you know what? You could technically use this bronzer as an eyebrow product if you want to, if it matches. There we go, more versatility. Day number 15. So instead of a baked highlighter, we do have a pressed one, and it's this really gorgeous champagne tone. So instead of a baked highlighter, we do have a pressed highlighter, and it's in this really gorgeous champagne tone. Now, personally, I do like wearing champagne tones during the colder months, just because my skin isn't as tanned, whereas I like to go for more peachy and bronzy highlighters. But this has a really nice, cool peachy tone. It just looks amazing. Day number 16. This one is lovely and long. Oh, I like the tone of this. It actually matches my outfit that I have on. So here we do have a lip gloss, and it's in this really lovely blush pink color. So it does actually have quite a lot of color to it. I was half expecting it to be a opaque-looking gloss, but there's definitely some nice color there. Day number 17. Please be a blusher. It is no way. So we do have a pressed blusher. I am just so glad that Revolution have incorporated new products in the advent calendar. There's a lot of versatility, which is just perfect. That's what you want in advent calendars, different products and versatility. A really nice tone of blush there. It isn't overkill. It's that really nice rosy glow. Basically something to make you look not dead, basically. Day number 18. Looks like a pencil. Oh, we have an eyeliner. It's gotta be an eyeliner. You can check the back if you're unsure, because it tells you what it is. We sure do have the whole shebang here, don't we? I can definitely do a full face using this advent calendar. Who reckons I should do that video? Yep, just a jet black eye pencil. I have never been so excited to see an eye pencil. I'm actually feeling really happy with this advent calendar so far. They really do need balls up royally to make me unhappy. Oh, yes! So I've had something red. Now I've got something gold. That's gonna be my new little thing with the advent calendars. I need something gold and I need something red. So here, what do we have? We have a liquid highlighter. There is highlight to it, but I wouldn't say it was as glowy as the pressed powder. I would actually probably contour this along my neckline. Be perfect along the nose. You could probably whack it up your leg, like do a line. Day number 20. Here we've got a pressed contour. So in comparison with the bronzer, as you can see, it's much lighter. The tone also looks quite medium. So again, I think it would go with a lot of skin tones. Also, if you've got really fair eyebrows, you could actually use this as an eyebrow product. Just to pop the contour next to the baking powder. There we go, what do you reckon? Day number 21. We have another baked highlighter, but I love the look of it. Here we've got a baked highlighter, which is more on the rosy tone. And as you guys know, I absolutely flippin' love rose gold. I reckon this would look superb on top of the blusher. I just think it would look more like Nas Orgasm. Oh my goodness. Day number 22. Here we have another brush. Oh, I almost chucked it at myself. And this is a foundation and concealer brush. And again, it is travel size. Again, it parcels the bristle test. Day number 23. Ooh, ooh, okay. So here we have a lip liner. And what's so clever about this is that it will go with all of the lip products that we've received. So the two lipsticks and the lip gloss. This has just made me so happy. And I've just had a really crazy idea. You could probably pop the liquid highlighter on top of the lip products to give it that really nice festive shine. I just love it when everything goes together. Door number, are we on 24? Yeah, we are. Yes, yes, yes, yes, something red. Yes, yes, yes. We actually haven't received anything red yet, have we? Well, I pretty much preempted my celebrations. But finally, we do have a liquid lipstick. Now, the color. Let's talk about the color. Beautiful. That's what I like to call a traditional red lip product for Christmas. I will 1000% be wearing this on Christmas day. Door number 25, Christmas day. It's absolutely massive. I would not expect anything less from Revolution. We have a whole palette. The colors again are great. It all honestly, I don't think I'd use this color here for Christmas period. Would you, would you? So here we do have 15 different shades. So we do have a mix of matte and also shimmer, eyeshadows. Really loving the warm tones. There we go, guys. So that's inside the Revolution Advent Calendar for 2019. This Advent Calendar was so much better than last year. They have really added in new products. I love the color. I love, I just love this. The gold and the berry burgundy. So who would this be good for? I think that this would be much more suited to teenagers and also young adults like myself. Actually, I like to change that. I think that this suits teenagers and also above. So with the Superdrug one, I feel that that one was more suited for kids. So someone who is just starting out with makeup, where I think that the Revolution makeup is pretty much ideal for all ages above teenagers. Let's do some math. So 50 pounds divided by 25. Each store is worth two pounds. That's not bad. That's actually really, really good, I think. What did you make of this Advent Calendar for this year?
