HOUSE TOUR SUMMER 2018 + DIY MARBLE FLOOR & GIVEAWAY

Hey everyone, welcome to my home tour. Come on in. So welcome to my home tour, finally. I know it's taken a little while, so I'm really, really sorry about that. But I'm now in my home, everything's decorated, so it's about time I came and show you. So, kitchen we go. So I'd have to say that this is the heart of the home. Jo and I absolutely love this room. We went for grays, browns, coppers, and greens because we feel that's a really nice color to have for a kitchen. So everything is brand new, we got to pick everything. I always have a fresh vase of flowers, just because I like fresh flowers, especially when they're white in this kitchen. Here we just have our fruit bowl. This is actually all of Milo's treats. He's very lucky, as you can see. He's got carrots, he's got apples, he's got bananas, and he has parsnips. He loves a good parsnip. Most of the things in this room are from Wilco, actually. They do a really nice copper range. So the kettle, the tea, sugar, and coffee holders, and also just little knick-knacks. Now the blinds are from Blinds2Go. I found it the easiest place to buy blinds just because they're really affordable and you can just submit your measurements and they come in the post. Also, what else do we have in here? We dropped a couple things from Ikea and the lights are beautiful. These are also from Danone. I don't remember the cost of them. I think they're in the region of 30 to 60 pounds, but I'll leave the link to everything down in the description. Now I'm gonna bring you over here because we do have a little seating area. Now this sofa is from Licensed Furniture and the cushions are from The Range, as is this clock here. This was the first thing I put up in the house. And we just sit here when we wanna put our shoes on, really, and if we're just entertaining in the kitchen. Now I'm gonna swing you over to the other side. Now this is from a company called SongMix. So I'm just gonna take off my pretty London slippers and pop them away. We just have Brooke's little cage here. She actually doesn't spend any time in it whatsoever other than when she's wet from a walk. We also have a wine fridge here. We actually don't really keep wine in there. We just keep beer and bottles of water. And here we have our stools. Now I absolutely love these. I always get comments on them. These are from Mason Dumond. Mason Dumond has the most amazing things. So definitely go and check them out. I also have this really cool little sign here. Welcome to the madhouse. I think it's really fitting because we own a dog, pig, and Joe and I live here. Okay, right, let's go to the hallway. Now on Instagram, I had loads of comments about the flooring. So this was actually designed by Joe who's behind the camera and a floor guide that came in. It's actually DIY marble. It's not actually marble floor. It's made out of epoxy paint. So I think we used white, gray, I think just white and gray, was it Joe? And also glitter because I wanted a little bit of sparkle in this house. So that's the floor. When we first did it, it went tits up, but second time lucky, it went okay. So the hallway, this hallway is just a few, like full of a few little bits and bobs. I always have fresh flowers in this house. Here we just have a little Wilko frame and also my 100,000 subscriber plaque sits firmly and proudly in the hallway. Now just to the right of me, we have a downstairs toilet. Nothing really exciting in here. We just have a few bits and bobs. Gaga is from Ikea and I just have this saga form candle lantern here. I think it's pretty sweet. Other than that, it's just your standard bog really. Now we'll take you to the favourite part of the hallway. So this is my favourite piece in the whole hallway, which is this massive mirror. Now it was only 83 pounds from the range and we have so many compliments on this mirror. It really transforms the room. Also this candlestick holder is also from the range and it only costs 90 pounds. And I've seen these stands for about 300, 400 pounds. So we feel like we've got a really big bargain there. And the lights here are from Being Cute. Everything in this house, which is lighting, is pretty much from Being Cute. Right, let's go on to the living room. So here is the living room. Now this little bench table is from a company called Shabby Bear Cottage, I believe. I'll leave the link down below. The reason why we went for a bench seating is because you can fit more people on here and you can also take it outside if you wanna have like a barbecue or anything. So this is from Made. Made have also really nice accessories. And the lamp above, which is a overhanging lamp, is also from Made. The placemats are from Wilco again, very, very cheap. And I'm just gonna spin you behind me because this is, oh, I love this bit of the room. So here is my photography display. If you guys didn't know, my fiance Joe is a photographer. So we have all of our favourite pieces of photography here when we've been away in South Africa to little couple trips and also couple photo shoots as well. Now the frames are from Matalan. They're only five pounds each. And the pictures, I believe, I only spent 50 pounds on as well. So I'll leave the links down in the description because you can get these from Matalan. I just think this makes the most prettiest use of all. I'm in love, I love it. Now I'm gonna come over to the seating area. Now again, the sofa is from Licensed Furniture. The sofa only costs 700 pounds. I believe you can get a really good sofa online, on eBay or from a good furniture store. You don't have to spend like 2000 pounds on a good sofa. Now the cushions are all from Matalan except these ones, which are from Wilco. Again, I think Matalan is the best place to buy affordable. Oh, you like your cushions, don't you? Sorry, I got a bit distracted. So I just think Matalan is the most amazing place to get cushions from. They're really affordable and they look really good. I think these big ones were like 12 pounds, which is a bargain, but I'll leave everything down in the description. So here we have another made item, which is this coffee table. It's small enough just to pop some coffee mugs and tea mugs on there. And we just have this big candle from TK Maxx. And in the window, we just have a little vase from Amazon. These flowers are from The Range. The lantern is from Wilco and these little ornaments here are from Turkey. So you probably won't be able to get those. And in the corner here, we just have a little lantern from Dunown. Oh, Joe also bought these really weird flame bulbs for them. They look pretty cool. Joe loves them, don't you, babe? So I guess they're staying. And the Velvet Crush curtains are from Dunown. Dunown have an amazing range of curtains. They have different colours of Velvet Crush. So if you're looking for them, they have them in Dunown. Now behind me here, we have the big mirror. So this is actually two mirrors and we've just merged them together. It's from Maison du Monde and it's a rose gold and frosted out mirror. We love it. Again, it transforms the room. I'm gonna spin you around because I'm gonna talk about wallpaper. So this is my really affordable wallpaper. I actually typed into eBay, rose gold brick effect wallpaper, and this came up. I don't think I actually got it from eBay. I got it on a business that sells on eBay and it went on the wall really well. And again, it looks pretty much real. It's really good wallpaper. Again, we just have some picture art here. So these frames are from Wilco and we have our Samsung TV, which Joe put on a little swiveling kit so we can watch it whilst eating dinner or whilst sat on the sofa. Right, okay, let's take you upstairs. Just before we go upstairs, I wanna talk about the doorways. I think I've spoken about this in my empty house tour, which I'll leave the link to that down below. We actually asked the developers to put double doors in. They were gonna be single doors and I don't know, it would have felt really dark in this house. So we've just have these two massive doorways. It makes the house seem much lighter. And again, the floor just looks so good. And as you can see, it flows room to room. So the hallway, kitchen, and the downstairs toilet all have the same flooring. So this is the landing. And my favourite piece in this whole landing is actually this big window. It's absolutely huge. It lets in so much light. And we can also check on Milo just there because his shed slash pen is down below. Now on the windowsill here, we have this Sagaform Lantern again, which is the same brand as the one in the bathroom downstairs. I'll leave the link down in the description. And we recently popped these pieces of artwork up. So many of you guys on Instagram really liked them and they're from a shop in Swindon and I believe it's called Kingsley something, but I'll leave the link to their shop down below. They have the most amazing pieces of artwork and also just accessories really. So definitely go and check them out if you want some. Right, I'm gonna take you into the spare bedroom first. So this is the spare bedroom and it's the same decoration that we had in our old house, which is a winter wonderland theme. It's so pretty. We have this little throw here, which is actually from Matalan again. And it's Brooke's favourite thing to sit on, isn't it girl? The curtains are from The Range and the cushions again are from Matalan. The lanterns in the corner are from Wilco and the mirror to the right of me was a gift. I believe it was purchased from a shop in Swindon, but you can definitely get similar ones on eBay or just some online stores. And what else is new in this room? Oh, the stag head. I absolutely love the stag head. This was just from eBay again and it's like glittery. It's very pretty. And in the corner, we do have this mirrored unit. This is from eBay and the velvet crush lamp is from Next. And it's Brooke's favourite sleeping room, isn't it? You like sleeping in here in the day. Okay, I'll take you to our room next. So this is our bedroom. Now, every single bed in this house is actually from eBay. We just purchased the frames from eBay and the mattress separately. So this is a Ottoman bed and it's in a charcoal grey and we love it. We think it's the most comfortable thing ever. The cushions again are from Matalan and I think this is the Saffron Barker range from Primark. So that's different. This is a teddy I've had ever since I was a baby. It only has one eye. Actually, I think his eye is like embedded in his head. I don't know. So the duvet is actually from, I think it's from Next. It's a velvet crushed one. No, it's not crushed. It's just velvet. It is the most comfortable duvet cover I've ever slept in. And this little throw here is from Denalm. The only thing I have to say about this is that if you own a pet and you don't mind them sitting on the bed, it does fray. The little wall bits do come out. So it's probably not the best thing. So just here is a unit from Denalm. Denalm was like a lifesaver to us when it came to decorating this house. The lamps are also from Denalm. And here we just have three pieces of artwork of Joe and I and the frames are from the range. So over here, we just have built-in wardrobes. These are actually Joe's covers. I own the ones next door. The curtains also from Denalm, just to mention. And the units here is from trusty Ikea. So the coolest thing about this room is actually the custom made TV at the end of this bed. So actual TV beds are like 2000 pounds and we didn't want to spend 2000 pounds on a bed. So as I said before, this is a Ottoman bed and Joe made a custom bracket and pops the TV on here. I cannot tell you it's the best thing to watch Netflix in bed. It's just, oh my gosh, it's the most favourite thing I like to do. So all you gotta do is lift it up. We can pop it away if you want to or bring it out as it is right now. It also swivels. The reason why we did this is because there wasn't any space on the walls for a big TV like this. So this was a really good solution. So I'm just gonna spin you around and show you the en suite. This is the en suite. So it has a really big shower in here with a waterfall overhead. And this is pretty much Joe's bathroom. I don't really come in here because I own, well I own, I have the bigger bathroom, but do you like it Joe? Camera says yes. Right, I'm gonna show you guys my office. So this is my office. I absolutely love this room. So this is where I do all my work and filming. So here we upgraded to a bigger iMac because I needed something bigger to edit on. And as you can see from above, I have all of my That's Life front covers. So many of you guys have asked me if the headlines are about me. They're not about me. I'm just the girl smiling in the background. I'm not smiling at the headlines because they're pretty crude. So I'm just gonna bring you over here because this is, oh my gosh, the most amazing mirror ever. So this is from Hollywood Mirrors. They kindly did give this to me and I use it all of the time. So behind me, you guys probably recognise, is where I actually film. So I have all of my awards displayed here and I just have some knickknacks and some of my books that I've read recently. I really like entrepreneurial books at the moment. So I have a selection of a few down there. So over here, we have all of my beauty items just here. I've just put some lipsticks in there for now. But this is where I keep all of my beauty stuff. Again, built-in wardrobes. These are all mine. Right, let's take you to my favourite room, which is my bathroom. So this is my bathroom. I'm really sorry, it's a bit echoey in here. But here we've got a mirror similar to next door. So you could turn it on and off. There we go. And it's also a Bluetooth mirror so I can actually tether my phone to the mirror and it will play music whilst I'm in the bath, which is just the most amazing thing ever. So just here, we have a clock from The Range. The basket is from Dunelm. I keep all of my Lush bath bombs in there. And just to the left of me, I also have another Saga Foam candle holder. It's a marble base, which is very fitting for this grey room. And here is the bath. It's absolutely massive. So the bathroom was actually meant to finish here, but we actually built back into a cupboard and well, I basically wanted a bigger bath. So this is where I chill out, relax and enjoy my many beauty products that I have here. I just wanna show you one last thing before we vacate this room. So down here, we have little plinth lights, which is really cool when you wanna go to the toilet in the middle of the night, because you just walk in and they turn on so you don't actually have to turn on the main light. Right, let's go and see Milo. Milly, Miley Moo, let's show the guys your house then. Yay, here's the boy. So this is where Milo lives. So many of you guys have asked me, where does he actually sleep? This is where he sleeps. So he's got a little closed compartment here and then he's got a run and he pretty much roams around all day. He doesn't stay in here. He also comes into the house, but only downstairs because he's rather fat at the moment and can't walk upstairs. Let's go back into the house. There we go, guys. I really hope you enjoyed this video.
