It passes the squish test.
Oh, wow.
Wow, wow, wow.
Oh, this excites me so, so much.
Again, outfit calendar game changer.
Before I jump into this video,
you guys need to subscribe and turn on the notifications
because this weekend will be absolutely epic.
Should I give you a clue?
I'll give you a clue.
So I went onto Superdrug and spent nearly £300.
Yep, £300.
I am totally broke now.
So this weekend is going to be just fabulous and magical
and just like up here.
No, no, no, up here.
And also whilst you do that,
you also automatically enter my Glossybox advent calendar giveaway,
which is worth £370.
You do also have to go to my Instagram
and go and give me a cheeky little follow.
But honestly, this weekend, guys, be here.
So I just want to say, ASOS win a prize.
There is no prize.
Just a label I'm giving it.
So this year, the face and body advent calendar by ASOS
looks completely and utterly different.
So this little beauty has just launched.
So you can now get it.
Link is down in the description.
So last year, it was £55.
But this year, it's £70.
But let's just say one thing.
The box is very much a keepsake box.
I'm just loving this.
So this is much more environmentally friendly
because you can keep the box and you can put anything in it.
And I like the fact that they've kept the box unbranded,
if I can get it off.
Aha, there we go.
What do we have inside then?
Oh, hello.
Again, advent calendar game changer.
Okay, this excites me.
Excites me a lot.
This is just so super, super cute.
I'm not sure how easy it's going to be
finding the numbers and unboxing,
but we'll get to that bit in a minute.
Okay, door number one.
So we're starting off small for day number one.
Okay, not a bad start.
So here we've got the Origin Super Soft Remover Blemish Treatment Gel.
Something like this is something that I will definitely give a go.
Just because my chin looks like it's orbiting its own planets.
There's quite a few on my chin right now.
What am I on about?
So it is a super small size, like a sample size.
Smells pretty good.
Door number two is massive.
I really like the design, by the way.
It's not too festive.
If you're a bit of a Grinch, you're gonna like this.
Oh, I like this!
Okay, wet brush, a mini detangler.
So we got a wet brush.
I think it was in the latest in beauty advent calendar last year
and I literally almost died
because I just think this is such a good item to include in an advent calendar.
Wet brushes are amazing, especially when your hair's wet and you want to detangle it.
Over 45% less breakage.
Day number three.
Up next, we have something by Emma Hardy
and this is a Protect and Prime SPF 30.
So this is a lightweight and hydrating face moisturiser.
It's quite a good size, great for travelling.
I'm going on holiday, by the way.
Oh my god, yeah, I'm going on holiday.
Door number four.
We have a Rituals product!
I love Rituals.
So, so much.
And this is the Cream On Nourishing Body Cream
and this is in Flamingo Flower and Pink Grapefruit.
What on earth does a flamingo flower smell like?
Does it smell like flamingos?
That wouldn't be good, would it?
If a flamingo had like a pretty scent, it would smell like this.
Day number five.
Oh, okay.
So this is what I like to call a subscription box staple
and this is by Sand and Sky
and this is Slash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment.
I don't know if I've tried this before.
I think this is quite new to me.
Now this exfoliator looks like it's got real sand in it
and it smells like sand.
It smells like a beach.
This would seriously do some exfoliation on your face.
Door number six.
It's very long.
Aha, yeah!
They have been very, very, very clever here.
So I've said many times in the Avant Kanda series
that I like it when you get shampoo and a conditioner.
I have never received a shampoo and conditioner in one door
and here we have Maine & Tell.
I really don't like the packaging.
I think the packaging just looks really, really bad
but let me tell you this.
This shampoo and conditioner is insane.
It is so hydrating and it hydrates
and then it adds that really nice gloss and shine to the hair.
This brand is completely and utterly underrated.
I love it.
Well done, ASOS.
A star, star, star, star.
Day number seven.
Have you noticed that I've not struggled
in getting the boxes out?
They've really thought about the design.
I like that.
This excites me so, so much.
I've just literally ran out of this product.
So this is by the Abnormal Beauty Company
or as known as The Ordinary
and this is a hyaluronic acid 2% plus B5
and this is like a serum.
But let me tell you about this serum.
Every time I use this, my face just goes down.
Like the acne isn't as bad
and I've literally just ran out
and my skin has like flared up
because I've not been using it.
This is just incredible.
It's not oily.
It's definitely more of a water-based
so it really does absorb on the skin
and you can wear it on its own
or underneath a moisturizer.
I like to wear it underneath a moisturizer
just because I think moisturizing is very, very important
even if you do have acne and oily skin.
This is just incredible.
Oh my God, oh my God.
Favorite product so far.
Day number eight.
Gosh, you look very, very big.
Oh, sleek, sleek, sleek.
So we have the Eye Define Sleek Makeup
and this is a mineral-based eyeshadow palette.
Now this palette is no stranger to the advent calendars.
We've seen this before.
Here we go.
So we do have a mixture of shimmers and matte eye colors
but more on the mattes.
I'd say about three shimmer tones.
Perfect.
Looks very autumnal, doesn't it?
Love a bit of variety.
Day number nine.
And it looks like a cow.
Automation.
Up next, we have Philip Kingsley.
Yes!
Oh my.
If you follow me on Instagram,
I have been ranting and raving about Philip Kingsley.
Honestly, their hair products are just insane.
So this is the Daily Damage Defense
and this is the Daily Leave-In Conditioner.
I just think this advent calendar knew
that I was running out of all the stuff that I needed
and they've put it in there.
So I actually cannot live without a leave-in conditioner anymore.
Ever since I've gone blonde and I've had my extensions out,
I've really been taking care of my hair
and I always find that a leave-in conditioner
does wonders for the hair,
especially when it's a bit wild.
Obsessed with this product.
Day number 10.
Matches my top.
Up next, we've got something from Oskia Lunding
and this is a Renaissance Cleansing Gel.
Illuminating Vitamin Melting Cleanser.
So I think this is a little bit similar
to those balm cleansers that you get,
like from Elemis and also from Sunday Riley.
I do love a good balm cleanser.
So in all honesty, this isn't as thick
as your Elemis and the Sunday Riley.
It's a lot more looser, a bit more dewy.
Oh yeah, by the way, these make really good makeup removers.
Day number 11.
Oh, we've got NARS.
Okay, I was half expecting NARS to be already
in some of the advent calendars that I've just unboxed,
but first NARS I've come across.
And the color is so me.
This is like a purpley beetroot, a beetroot color.
Does it smell like beetroot?
Doesn't smell like beetroot.
Door number 12, we are halfway through.
Oh, wow, wow, wow, wow.
Another product that I've run out of
and it's the Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream.
Do you guys know how expensive this is?
It's more expensive than this whole advent calendar.
So this is very, very good for slightly aging skin.
So I like to say aging skin is like 25 plus.
Well, I don't say that, but beauty brands say it, I think.
But this is amazing.
It's a great daily moisturizer.
It is anti-wrinkle.
It's honestly one of the best facial moisturizers
that I've ever, ever tried.
Door number 13.
What is this?
Oh, I don't know why this is a bit of an anti-climax,
but here we have Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin Detoxifying Charcoal
Facial Wipes.
I don't really know why I was a bit bummed out then
because I'm totally fine receiving something like this.
Makes sense because this is something that I do use
on a daily basis.
Door number 14.
Here we have something from Crayola
and I promise you it's not a crayon.
I have been meaning to try this for ages.
So this is Crayola Beauty.
Here we've got a really nice nude,
I wanna say a latte colour.
I'd say like a really milky coffee colour.
That's the only way I can explain this colour,
like a nude, a nude coffee.
So this is actually meant to be a face crayon.
I don't think I'd put this on the face.
I'd use this as a lip colour,
like a very nude, natural colour.
Door number 15.
We have our first makeup brush.
So this is by Spectrum.
Last year we received a beauty blender,
which I loved.
In all fairness, I probably would have preferred
a beauty blender,
but this is totally fine for a bit of highlighting.
I hope there's a highlighter in here.
Day number 16.
So this is something a bit different.
So I want you guys to, I don't know,
like keep your mind open.
Here we've got a toothpaste
and this is by Regenerate
and this is an animal science one.
So this is an advanced toothpaste.
So it's really good if you have sensitive teeth
or if you wanna reverse early erosion process.
So if you're eroding, is that a word, eroding?
I know this is a bit strange
to get toothpaste in an advent calendar.
Drop me a comment down below.
Like, what do you think about it?
Like, do you think it's a good product?
I'm all up for trying something new.
I have tried this brand before and it is pretty good.
Something new, I guess.
Day number 17.
Don't fall on me.
Okay, something from Finest Aid Beauty.
So this is the Pure Skin Face Cleanser.
We've already received a cleanser.
There's quite a lot of cleansers.
Well, there's two.
Anyway, so this is meant to remove surface oils,
makeup dirt and grime
and it's great for sensitive skin.
Maybe this could be a day cleanser
and the gel could be a night one.
Day number 18.
We have something from This Works
and this is a deep sleep pillow spray.
If you struggle to sleep,
sometimes I do just spritz in a bit of this on your pillow
and you'll be out.
Scent-wise, it definitely smells like lavender and chamomile.
Door number 19 is massive
and it's very light.
Is it a face mask?
It is!
Oh my gosh, I'm a psychic.
So here, we have something by Dr. Jart
and this is a facial mask
and it's an intense moisturizing one.
Love getting masks in the advent calendars.
Day number 20.
Behind this door, we have something by Recharge
and this is a relaxing sleep mask.
Okay, so we've had a sheet mask.
Now we've got a cream mask.
Oh, it's a Clarins product.
Didn't see that.
It doesn't smell like lavender
but it does have that really nice sleepy scent,
if that makes sense.
Scents, scents.
Did you know that the hell?
If that makes sense, not if that makes scent.
Box number 21.
We have something by Clinique
and this is meant to be all about the eyes
and this reduces circles and puffs.
A really, really nice size as well.
The cream itself isn't thick
but it absorbs super, super quick.
Door number 22.
We definitely had this in the last year's advent calendar.
So this is Coco and Eve Like a Virgin
super nourishing coconut and fig hair mask.
This is amazing by the way.
It really does inject hydration into the hair.
So if your hair is feeling very parched,
this is brilliant.
Door number 23.
Laura Mercier.
Oh, hello.
Here, we've got a translucent loose setting powder
How cute is this little puff?
Does it pass the squish test?
It passes the squish test.
Really generous size actually.
It looks small but that will last a very long time.
Finally, door number 24.
Last up, we've got, okay,
a Becca First Light Priming Filter.
Again, I've definitely used this product before.
It is fantastic.
It really does make your skin feel hydrated under makeup
and it makes your makeup last longer.
I don't know about you guys,
but I am totally feeling that the advent calendars
this year are so much more stronger than last year.
I personally think that this advent calendar was fantastic.
£2.80 per door is definitely worth the money.
Who is this advent calendar good for?
I think this is perfect for someone
who doesn't particularly like just getting makeup.
Here, it says what it says on the tin, face and body.
For someone who is really into their skin care and body care,
I would say that I was more into my skin care and body care.
This is something that I know I'll use every single door
in this advent calendar.
This is like a me advent calendar.
Really, really enjoyed it.
Don't forget to subscribe and turn on the notifications.
This weekend is going to be absolutely epic.
More giveaways and also, what else?
Oh, if you subscribe,
you also enter my Glossy Box advent calendar giveaway
which is worth £370.
