SURPRISING JACKSON GOLDSTONE WITH HIS FIRST RED BULL HELMET | Finn Iles

What's up everybody? We are at the top of Cyprus right now and today is a little bit exciting because, well exciting for me but more exciting for someone else because we are presenting Jackson Goldstone with his brand new Red Bull helmet. He's the newest member of the team, he's a young Canadian rider, he's the best in the world right now which is pretty incredible. I've been a Red Bull athlete for six, coming on seven years here and it's always really cool to see someone from the same area as you and killing it at the sport, being world junior champion and yeah, he absolutely deserves this so it'll be fun to give it to him and try and trick him into thinking it's something less important. I feel like it's exciting, this is like a dream come true. You know you grow up, you watch biking, you watch all your favorite riders are normally sponsored by Red Bull so this is a, it's a cool moment. To me it just felt like when I got my Red Bull helmet it was a dream of mine that had been crossed off the list and being able to represent a company like Red Bull is pretty amazing and all the things that they do for me and they do for their athletes is pretty unreal and there's not really any other brands like that so after we give him his helmet we're going to go ride I think either Jersey Shore which is just down there which is sort of like the faster, fun trail on Cypress and then I think we're going to do a couple laps and then we're going to do one more lap and do some hiking and get some shots with you and with Graham and sort of make a welcome to Red Bull video with Jackson and yeah, it's really exciting. I'm excited to see his reaction because I'm not really sure what to expect. I'm expecting a yo and then a let's go but like a really loud one because when he won world championships he like got off his bike and he screamed let's go as loud as I've ever heard so it was like. So the plan is, is that we've told him we're doing a Christmas card shoot for Fox, either lie to him and tell him that it's my helmet and then be like oh check out my new helmet and give it to him and he'll turn it around and it says Jackson Goldstone on the back. Good how are you? Good. I don't really know what this is, Laurent was just like hey like come hang. I think maybe Loic's doing one as well because he had to fly home from Copenhagen the other day. Freshie helmet? Pretty sick eh? No. No way! Let's go! Woo! Oh my goodness! I was like oh dude nice freshie helmet dude. I think. Let's go! I told you, I said when he won, I said when Jackson won world championships I heard the loudest let's go I've ever heard in my whole life and they're like if he doesn't do a loud one it doesn't, like why are we here? Are we actually shooting Christmas cards? No, oh no. Oh my god, I can't, I can't even do this helmet off, I'm shaking. I just need to be done up, oh wow. That's amazing, that's amazing. I was not, you guys got me, I was not expecting that. Did you expect anything? Dude Vincent even texted me today. Oh, Vincent texted me, he's like oh you're doing the Christmas shoot and I was like yeah I guess. That was sick, that was really exciting. I'm shaking man, I was so nervous, I was like yeah that was really cool. I don't want to, I was like don't blow it, this is a big helmet. Actually I think it's like a, it's like a 15% increase in speed when you wear the helmet. Yeah we're going to go ride Jersey Shore and then I think I'm going to follow Jackson or Jackson's going to follow me or whatever works and then we're going to come back up here and then Graham and Mason are going to come down the trail and you as well and we're going to get some video clips and yeah. Jersey to meat sweats, yeah, cool, alright, sick. Oh, this is exciting, this is very exciting. Whoa, what? What a day. So sick, I'm so happy the weather's nice too, hell yeah dude, perfect day for this. That'll work either, yeah you're good. Hell yeah dude. Oh boy. A little bit of. Get in there. Good shot. Well, let's go get some photos. These are my Air Force Ones, trying to keep them white too. I'm not taking this helmet off. Does it feel any different? You know you like see it in your peripheral? Yeah I see the little change here, color change. Yeah, yeah. And the visor a bit too. Dude, next year you're going to be so sick. Helmet. Champs. Champs jersey. Yeah, yeah. That's so sick. Yeah, it's good. Oh my god, I haven't even like, hasn't even hit my mind yet. So there's some like really nice natural light down here so Mason's basically shooting up at us over this little tiny drop and then Jackson and I are trying to figure out how to steeze it. He went one way, I went the other way, both of us didn't really get it right. So we're going to re-rack, see if we can figure it out. I like that one a lot. This one? Yeah. Oh, it's gone. Whoa. I'm a big fan of that one. Link up. Okay, so, um, quiet on set. We need absolute silence here. Absolute, absolute. Okay, uh. Absolute silence. So just wrapping up the shoot here. We got to shoot this cool little feature and a couple more up there. Jackson was really throwing it down, I think he got some of that new helmet confidence. I mean, look at him, he looks fantastic. So stoked to be able to be a part of this and give Jackson his helmet. And just stoked to have him on the team. Stoked to have these guys out at a shoot. It was really cool and fun to get out here just for the afternoon. It's hard to wrap this up. The helicopter's looking for me. I don't really know how to wrap this up, but like and subscribe.
