LEOGANG WORLD CUP | Finn Iles

So I made it to Austria, Leo Gang, to watch Finn race in the World Cup this weekend.
Well that hole is worse, it's way worse down there.
This year they've decided to change the first corner, instead of having like a nice berm
into like a little bit of a flat section, they've made it pretty much untouched through a cowfield
into a road crossing back into the normal track, so it's a bit harder and a bit more
technical but I think once it ruts in it's going to be really sick and definitely better
than last year.
I can't read any of these signs.
You're probably going to come like, get shot off, yeah, I don't know, it's hard to say.
Okay well then outside is going to work.
But then, allowed that berm, inside like that exit doesn't look good.
Little update here, no sign of Finn, so, staying positive on that front.
Oh no, oh, ah, ah!
What does this mean?
And use like that little compression like, to corner around the tree.
Noticing a lot more bikers, so I'm assuming I'm going the right way.
Hi Finn, I found um, is that your helmet?
Yeah.
From this morning?
Yeah.
Dude, what?
I thought it was a mellow bale.
No, it was f***ed off.
Whoops.
Do I walk on this?
Yo, I'm Kevin Jolie, Finn's mechanic, so, wrenching on this beauty, and trying to make
this get fast.
I'm going to take this beast apart, like just to find if anything were broken during the
crash.
I already did it before qualy, but now I want to make sure that every single part are in
a good shape for tomorrow.
Dude, it's science, huh?
Damn, you going clubbing after the race?
Need some techno music to get that shirt going.
You look like Kardashian of biking.
Front wheel slid all the way off the top, and I landed like, down on the flats.
Yeah.
Like just, f***ing savage.
We're in Leogang, Austria right now, just heading up for my qualifying run, and had
a big crash this morning, but feeling a bit better, had a few painkillers, so hopefully
this goes well, and, I don't know, having a good time.
Are you going over the corner?
No.
Really?
That route's scary.
Yeah, boy.
Yeah, I was good at the top, like, just felt like I was smooth and nice, and then at the
bottom I just made a bunch of stupid mistakes.
So, crash in the morning, qualify in the afternoon?
Yeah.
Big crash this morning.
Bit scary.
And then qualifying went pretty good, I was fast at the top, like I think in a pretty
good spot, and then just at the bottom I got a bit nervous, and just started making mistakes
and riding not too well, and then I think I'm 16th, so pretty happy, but tomorrow there's
got some more in the bag, and should be good.
Yeah, you made it through, man.
Yeah, pretty happy.
Where's Vince?
There!
You can see like...
Ludwig Heinrich, also in Hapien.
He goes for the inside line.
3.20, and he finishes 20th.
3.20.60.
Yeah.
My legs are so tired.
This is Salzburg.
I had a rough weekend this weekend at the last World Cup, ended up having a big crash
right before qualifying, and I was pretty bruised up for race day, but on race day I
ended up crashing in the first corner.
Don't know what I was doing, but I got my head sort of figured out now, and I think
the next few races should be really good, and having some time off right now should
be good before heading into the rest of the season.
Now we're in Salzburg, and we're gonna have a bit of a fun time, and hang out with the
Red Bull crew.
