BREAKING: Buck Showalter is the next New York Mets Manager!!!

Yo, what is good Mets nation welcome back to Mets media This is Richie and we got some breaking Mets news from Steve Cohen himself on Twitter that buck Showalter is indeed the New York Mets manager for the next season and beyond Steve Cohen went on Twitter I think buck was at Steve Cohen's house last night actually for their interview the final interview and Indeed it is official. So I want to hear your guys thoughts down on the comments about this move I know that majority of Mets fans wanted buck as the Mets manager I definitely did he was my number one guy going into the offseason ever since we found out that the Mets were linked to him He just seemed like the perfect fit for where the Mets are right now We're in a win now mindset Max Scherzer rumored that he even wanted him as well He's a guy that has so much experience in the major league that you could just say it was a no-brainer to be honest He's has experience in the big markets He has experience and the only thing that he does not have on his resume is a world series championship So, you know that he wants to come to the Mets and bring them home a World Series ring So in this video guys want to give us my overall reaction and my thoughts to this I honestly thought that this was gonna happen eventually, but I was a little nervous Even though all three finalists were really, you know Good decisions from the Steve Cohen to really finalize those three guys But at the end of the day Buck needed to be the manager and I'm happy that it finally got announced because I was getting a little on edge Who's gonna be the manager? Are they gonna, you know pick someone else? Are they gonna hire Buck or not? Well, here we are today and Buck is officially the New York Mets manager And if you guys hear a little nasally in my voice, I'm sorry. I actually got positive for kovat. Don't worry I got mild symptoms. I'm okay I'm a little lacking energy but I Got the news and I'm like I gotta make a video about this because I really want to hear your guys thoughts down below in The comments about your thoughts about Buck being the New York Mets manager for this upcoming season and beyond So as we know the Mets have a I would say a two to three window Year window of winning the World Series because going all in a Max Scherzer that contract we gave him was ridiculous He deserves every single penny because of how you know phenomenal he's been he pairs up with Jacob to Grom We still have Pete Alonso on a cheap contract for now And we go out there and get Starling Marte We made a lot of moves and you know this Mets front office and the Mets ownership and Steve Cohen They have you know a short-term mindset in terms of winning now, but they're also trying to build a sustainable winner But you can tell that they're going all-in for the World Series When Max Scherzer's on the Mets and that's what this hire tells me. Obviously is more that old-school approach a manager He's not really, you know, the new age guy that's gonna be the analytical He's more the old-school guy But to be honest, I feel like there's a no-brainer for the Mets and I'm really excited that buck is indeed The decision the final decision for the mess to be the new manager. So please comment down below your thoughts about this news I want to make this video because more about you guys in the comments to hear what you guys have to say I don't really have a lot to say because you know, I'm feeling a little under the weather But I definitely want to make this video So if you enjoy the video make sure you like and subscribe to the channel if you're new for more Mets content And I'll catch you guys in the next one. Let's go buck is the new Mets manager. I'll catch you guys next time. Peace
