Hello guys Welcome to Dallas Why are you not as excited? I was really hyped. I know I'm pumped. We're back home Kind of. Ish. Where are we right now Jordan? Well very very close to family Maybe a little too close for Jordan. No We're shacking up with my mom and dad right now. It's because our house is still under construction, which is Beyond me. Is that frustrating? It's I'm so frustrated about it, but we'll get to that um So we didn't want to miss a week. We are on mom and dad's couch, and we are going to do this here so guys I remodel houses this last project that I decided to take on was one that I was going to flip and sell and Then halfway through decided that we were going to make it our house Which entirely complicates Everything and it has made it about like everything six months longer than it should have been so long story short our house is still under construction We did not plan for this. We did not expect this and so that is why we are living with my mom and dad Oh gosh, I just had a hiccup. You did? Yeah, I just had a hiccup. Was it a burp or a hiccup? It was a hiccup It smelled like a burp. No it didn't. It actually hasn't been bad because mom cooks and cleans. It's great We are adults yet. We have to respect the rules. Have I been breaking them because I don't know what the house rules are. No Let's just like give them up the proximity so the bedroom is right here Yeah, and mom and dad are right there Dad this is just normal stuff. You know what you got there coffee We're ready to be in our new house, but I don't know how long that's gonna be so in the meantime We're gonna be doing this right here on mom and dad's couch So I For the most part I've always lived in Dallas I grew up in a small town named Argyle north of Dallas, but it was a small town There was like what how many a couple thousand people in our town From there I went to school college at Baylor Which is in Waco which is an hour and a whole hour and a half away And then once I graduated college I came back to Dallas and I've lived here ever since Jordan has traveled and lived in so many cities like how many cities have you lived in a lot? Like there was a span of two and a half years just a couple years ago They lived in nine different cities and then even when you were younger you moved. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I'd like probably 20 at least when we were in California that was really the first time you lived anywhere else first time so that was a big thing for me to do and I remember being very nervous about even though it was for like four months I was nervous about Moving my life, but it was a really good experience. I'm really glad I did it and I and I loved being there So it was good My stomach just are you hungry? People always ask me like what's the greatest thing about Dallas and Dallas is an awesome city and I love Dallas But I think more than anything It's home. It's just home, you know, and I It's so funny because when we got home from when we moved back from LA Landed on the plane. I stepped outside into muggy nasty weather. It was hot It was humid, but I felt so good and I was like I'm home and it's just some it's just that feeling. I think that I love the most. I don't do well in the humidity Well, you've done fine the last two years good for your skin though, right? It's great for your skin Turning a negative into a positive. Maybe that's what I like to hear. That was a no-looker But let's talk about why we're excited back in Dallas Jordan Wow I'm just kidding. Uh, we have we were back in our routine. We have let's enlighten everybody on what our routine is What is our routine? That's a good question. What's our routine? I Mean, I was good This is really putting me on the spot because my I've been so bad lately and I have not done anything routinely I haven't worked out forever Me neither. I Haven't it's winter. We're like storing up for winter. It's gonna be cold You don't believe you gotta put it around the edges to stay warm He's saying this to be relatable, but he does not think this at all. He likes to eat very healthy He likes to be active I don't know about you, but I pounded a brisket sandwich on a jalapeno roll last night with jalapeno sausage What part of that was healthy? Since Jordan has moved to Dallas when we first got engaged she moved from Nashville to Dallas And I remember always talking about how Dallas has the best a Tex-Mex and be barbecue Yet, I never had a place to take him to go find good barbecue But I always insisted that we had the best barbecue and I feel like we found it We had the best barbecue last night really good. Tell them tell them We stumbled upon this place, I'll tell them okay, we stumbled upon this place completely on accident We have the toughest time in the world finding out we're figuring out where to eat So I'd say it's probably the we fight about it the biggest crux in our relationship Is there anybody to any of you out there? Actually go out with your significant other and Decide where you're gonna eat on the first try You're lying if you said yes, you're lying because that doesn't happen. It's impossible. No one does it We're just happen to be also the worst at it. We struggle. We don't know where to eat We'll sit on our phone. Look at Yelp at restaurants for like half an hour. Which is a terrible idea My way to solve is I'm like Jordan Let's just get in the car and then let you know, the universe guide us to where we need to go The worst idea ever that's the word the word. Okay, so here's the problem. I'll eat anything I will eat I can be happy with anything. I want to be I want to be a people pleaser in the relationship, right? That is the worst thing to do when he's like I'll eat whatever I'm fine with whatever and then you say something and he's like Really? I'm like wow What? So we were driving around just around the house one time trying to figure out where to eat and there's this like kind of like Burger bar place. I got just go here. It was kind of busy So we walked next door to this barbecue place and it's unbelievable It's called a hard 8 barbecue and it is the bomb You're welcome. You won't miss it because you'll smell it from about a mile away Just roll your window down drive it on the highway sometime and you'd be like there it is This is that was a serious So here's the thing you see that it was So we don't know if Dallas is The forever place who knows like where your job may take you or my job may take me like, you know There's always unforeseen circumstances that you obviously when you're in a relationship you have to learn to compromise I think that's the first time you've ever said that Of course, I believe that of course It'd be the most selfish thing in the world if I was like, no, we're only forever under no circumstance. Am I moving from Dallas? But I kind of I kind of want to live in is the Maldives Just sell all of our worldly possessions when we like live in a bungalow If we ever grow my hair out if we ever get to the point where we could do that I am all in what just sell everything and go do it. Okay, we'll get there can be like fishermen Yeah, like good Fisher. I don't know You ever caught a fish yeah daddy's taking me fishing all the time You ever do any you ever do any frog gigging you ever gig a frog? No, no, no, no, no, no, we're not done with this conversation. I'm not done with it yet cuz I heard you say you are a southern Girl, did you guys just see how I went from like a conversation here? Then it somehow went there you said southern girl. I'm here doing all these accents I thought we were having some fun showing off You do my Aussie accent. It's a little mixture. There is a little mixture of British. That's British Hello, oh that was actually good see I can't That's what I can't do, you know, the reason I can't do British I can't get my ours I don't know what accent that was. I also can't roll my tongue remember the Cardi B thing I Can't do it can't roll my tongue I'm self-conscious about that Does anyone else when they're around people that have accents they somehow start sounding oh absolutely I Think I do that around really southern people. That's why like now most of what I say has a little bit of Persian in it That's probably one of the one of my favorite parts about living here with Jojo's parents is I learned all the good Persian words. I Learned the bad words and what can I say? I can say say I love you. Do sit down. Oh say give me a kiss Who's better? Shove it here. Good night How do you say Jackson come here be in ja be in ja So he is the most comfortable beds Big ones with the like you looking around you. He's on his throne. He's on his throne right? Yeah Come on, make your way in show the world There he is. He's sleepy Okay, you know we're gonna have to do his favorite thing, that's my boy He loves this so much Greatest part, this is our child. Oh you guys I don't know I could just sit here and talk about him for forever. But this is Jackson. You guys probably definitely know who he is But I just you'll see him hopefully you see him a lot more Jackson also known as Jackie moon mooner booner and anything that rhymes with that is what we call him. He's our child Oh Jackson he's a German short hair pointer. I got Jackson when he was like seven weeks old So I've had him he's four now, so I've had him for four years Jordan has been His father his father for the last two years I will say they bonded immediately I mean He liked a little disciplinary male figure in his life, you know alpha dog He loves when you chase him he does but he's seriously the best dog in the world people always like are so funny cuz they're like I have a German short hair Pointer and he's insane. Like how did you get one? That's so calm and I did get very lucky Oh You know, he loves he loves when I wrestle and like I bite his ears How weaned is so soon Last way too soon. We never have a plan I know but I kind of want to dress Jackson up. We need to do something with all of us like The greatest Halloween of all time was two years ago when Jordan and I and my girlfriend Becca Last minute dressed up as old people not even last minute. We woke up that morning at like 10 o'clock. We're like We don't have outfits. What do we do? We like got a makeup artist Oh, yeah to like do us look like old people and then we got thrift store clothes Good will get some clothes a Walmart walker like a cane and all my friends that were there didn't even recognize us No one recognized us like I would walk up to them to be like, oh, what's up? I'm like, it's me. They're like We did not break character the whole time. We're what we're gimping around. We're acting as old people like the entire party I'm like walking by hobbling some guy walks by he's like looking good grandma And then you see Jordan with his cane. It's like hey, hey, hey, that's my grandma it was great cuz like it was one of those parties where everyone's dressed up like sexy and like not and we were just Smelly old people Jackson chillin, bro.
