Hey guys and welcome to the birthing of our barn kitties. So this is Shelby. She's a first time mother and so she was really worried because again she's a first time mother so she didn't really know what was going on. So she would not leave my side and didn't really understand you know what this feeling was. So anytime I would move she would just get closer to me. It was really sweet. But as you can see here the contractions it's just really fascinating to watch all this you know unwind and see how they handle it and she did such a good job guys. Again so here's another photo or a video sorry of her rolling onto her back and just trying to find a comfortable position for her and again she would not leave my side. I thought it was just the So here I was trying to comfort her and just holding her not really holding her but just putting my hand on her so she knows that I'm here for her and so here right here again just trying to find a comfortable spot and then we come back from dinner and we find a baby. So she had been in labor since one o'clock at this time in the one o'clock in the afternoon and the baby was born probably around eight o'clock in the afternoon and she was doing so good but here is her trying to push out her second one and no I don't show all the graphic details but you can just see how she just didn't know what to do. She was trying her best and she did really a good job and no she was not hurting her other baby. So here her second baby was born and she was licking all of the extra stuff off of her and doing a really good job as a first-time mother as I would think because she was really taking care of her babies and making sure they were okay they were safe and that they could breathe right after. So here you can kind of see the little baby starting to move around she is she or he not sure is out of the sack she still has the umbilical cord attached you won't be able to see it here but she kind of or he whatever kind of pops up her his or her head and they are not really nursing here because they're still too young but they're just kind feeling around and mama's taking a little nap. So at this point it's about 11 o'clock at night and I came back down to double check on everything and sadly we did not get another baby after this. We only get two and that's okay. One is a calico on the left and the other is black with some white paws and a little bit of white in his face so you'll see that in the next video. So I got a quick little photo of them guys look how cute they are. I am already in love with them and mama is doing so good guys. Olivia could not wait until she woke up to run down and check on the little guys. She was so nice and sweet with them she wasn't holding him too hard and she was really worried about holding them too hard but here they are this is the little black one and she'll pick up the other one in a little bit but I was trying to get a face shot and they were not having it. So here's the calico again they're both very sweet they're doing really good guys and Olivia is so excited as she says to be a grandmother. So Jack was so excited to come down to see the babies too. I was trying to teach him how to hold the babies so he wasn't holding too hard. He did a great job but I hope you enjoy this video guys.
