I watch so many YouTube gardening videos 😁 which I love 😄 and in one of the more recent ones I noticed a lovely little garden bench tucked away in one of their borders, which gave me the perfect idea for something I’d like to have.
Every morning before I go to work, I have a little tour of the garden for 5 minutes, with my cup of coffee, and it’s nice to be able to sit in different spots of the garden, just to get a different viewpoint and another perspective.
So I looked on Google Images, found a picture of a little bench in a “Stonehenge” shape, sent it to Richard and asked if he could make me one. And this is what he came up with.
It’s ideal, just what I wanted and I love it. So now, I can have a quick sit down in the morning, in the middle of my garden tour, and drink my coffee before I go off and start my day’s work. It’s all about just having fun in your garden!!

Had to move my washing line because my washing line
used to go from there to there and then of course I planted my new
circular border not thinking that now I can't
hang my washing there. So we've moved it. So now it goes from here
all the way to here and I've actually ended up with more washing line space
So it's worked out quite well and it hooks up to
this reel here but now it's even better because instead of having to walk all
over the garden beds and the grass etc I can
hang my washing up all along this paved area
and I've ended up with all this extra space as well.
Because I was asked actually do you have a washing line
a while ago and yes I do this is my washing line.
So yes this is garden life so I thought you might be interested but I
had another very good idea and as I was doing
my walkabout tours of the garden before work I came
across this little spot here and I thought
now wouldn't it be nice if I had a little
bed. Now when I was watching another YouTube gardening channel
because I do watch a lot of YouTube gardening channels
in fact I'm a little behind I've got some catching up to do
and yes I saw this lovely little bench just went like that little stonehenge
shape and I thought I'd like one of those
Richard surely could make me one of those
so I sent him a picture with the caption
I really like this Richard could you please make me one
and I've sent it to him in the hope that that is exactly what he will do.
So here we are again in Richie's workshop as she calls it.
Jeanette in all her wisdom sent me a picture
of a bench a small bench with the caption underneath
will you make one. So I've gone out and bought what's required
and I'm gonna attempt to do it. Mind you it would have been cheaper to
buy the thing. Right it's nearly finished now
would have been cheaper to buy one. I've got to fix the top up
do a bit of sanding round the edges off paint it tidy up
for a bench. She'll probably never sit on it
but it will look nice in the garden and as you can see
there's only room for one and obviously that's not going to be me is it.
So let's continue. Right now the bench her little bench
as you can see it's had one coat of paint
and um once it dries I'll give it another coat.
Do you want to sit on it?
I'm waiting for a sarcastic comment just say something nice
just say oh what a fabulous idea Jeanette I shall be sitting here
on a regular basis just say that come on as the closing
credits just say those words do it. It's a nice spot for a seat
I wish I'd thought of this. I'll be sitting on here more
when she's not here. I'm going to sit in it now.
I love my new seat it's fantastic little morning sip of tea before work
what could be better yeah I'm Jeanette I'm the Enthusiastic Gardener
sitting on a new seat sitting on my new seat made for one
made for one which is the best way I need to get a bit of peace
thank you so much for watching take care everyone bye
