I have arrived at my next destination my next city which is Hoi An
It is known as the Hoi An of Vietnam Terrible joke I know
But it is true that it is known as the most beautiful city or place
Well more than a place the most beautiful city in Vietnam
So I'll look at it more closely tomorrow because it's already nighttime now
But anyway I'll take a walk to see what kind of atmosphere there is now
At this hour the little stores shops and bars and these kinds of places
So nothing else I'll take a little walk
But I'm showing you the room this hotel is very good it's called Hotel Ha An
I love it
This is the room this bed is huge super super big
Come here all set
I think the girl said she had a kimono
Well there's definitely a kimono here
Ugly Yes but well it's still a kimono
Then here is a little armor
I don't know where this goes
And here is a bathroom which is also very nice with its little plants and all that
No the truth is that it's great
And the coolest thing for me is that it's the entrance
Okay so this is the door and we'll go out this way
And this is already at the driveway which is the entrance to the hotel right there
Then this is the small garden at the entrance
There is a billiard table and all of this is the street here are the little stalls and such
Here is also a place to sit and be comfortable
So it's great
I'm going to rest a bit two minutes and then I'll go out to visit the city
Hoi An is the place I'm liking the most right now for its nightlife in Vietnam
Oh it's well worth spending at least one night in Hoi An
Walking through all the streets in the old town which isn't very big
Well you can easily watch it in a short while
There are many jobs and you can also go boating through the canals or rivers in the area
There are so many colors and I don't know it's great
If the boatmen and clerks would just ease up a bit it would be perfect
But it's really worth it I'm telling you
It's super super cute super cozy
And I don't know they're all these little tiny houses old and stuff I really like this vibe
I'm going to start visiting Hoi An during the day now after having wandered around at night yesterday
It's really beautiful
And as I told you Hoi An is known as the most beautiful city in Vietnam
It's a very very small town
And the most interesting and beautiful thing is the old town which you can walk through in a short time
And it is well in the center
There are a lot of hotels and hostels
around so and they are quite affordable
It's the cheapest place in Vietnam but they're pretty good
And yet it is said that Hoi An was one of the most important
port cities in the world centuries a thousand years ago
And it has had several settlements from different
civilizations the main ones being Dutch Japanese and Chinese
From the Dutch I don't know if anything remains but above all what remains the most is
From Chinese culture which are the majority of the small houses in the historic center
They have a Chinese architecture they are all little cottages with sloping roofs etc
And if last night this place was mainly tourist-oriented
right now in the morning it's a super local atmosphere
Because all the markets are filled with vegetables fruits and general food
And then all the local citizens are here shopping and it's a madhouse
Oh there's a really cool atmosphere and it's even hard to walk
The good thing is that once you enter what
is truly the historical center it is a zone that is completely pedestrian
No motor vehicle traffic is not allowed except for bicycles
Then it's much more peaceful
I mean I've already left that market behind
Well now just a motorcyclist has to come to take me the wrong way
Here there's practically no one left because this area is much more touristy
And since it's still early people haven't started moving
around yet especially the Chinese tours
When they start moving you won't be able to walk here anymore
So for now let's enjoy everything we can
Here are a lot of little boats that are really good
These are trips taken through the canals through the rivers that are here in Hoi An
So it's an option that well you can consider
And at night as you saw yesterday as well
We can go on excursions but by putting candles on the water and such
Then nothing it's really cool
And as I was saying the influences of the various settlements that have been here
There are also several touches of Japanese culture
And indeed the most well-known and typical place here in Hoi An
It is a Japanese bridge which is the one I am going to address now
The Japanese Covered Bridge in Hoi A
Here behind is the Japanese Bridge the one I was telling you about
It is from the 16th century and is the most
famous bridge here because it is super beautiful
It's from 1528 or around that time when the Japanese were settled here
And in the late 19th century the French modified it
Because as you know France had very important colonies here in Vietnam
It was controlled by France until the mid-20th century
at the Vietnamese expelled them during all the Indochina wars
And then during that time at the end of the 19th century
The French modified the bridge so that cars could pass through
Then they flattened it a bit
They put it back in the early 20th century
To maintain the original structure and architecture of the bridge which is a very beautiful bridge
It's very short it will be about 10 meters from side to side
And it is built with wood stone and cement
Then if you come this way it's highly recommended
You won't want to miss it because it's in the middle of Hoi An
And it even appears on the back of the bills

Hello An is back already He took another Grab
that brought him to Da Nang
It's where I left from yesterday
I have now arrived in Da Nang and have just taken a train
I have just boarded one of these first-class ones
they have four bunks which will take me to Hue
Where is my next destination the next city I am going to visit
It's a little north of Da Nang about three hours away
So I don't know why they gave me bunks because really for three hours I'm not going to sleep
But anyway I'll tell you more when I get there
