VIAJE A VIETNAM! HANOI EN 1 DÍA | VIETNAM #1

Well it's a new journey finally it was time many months have passed since the last one But anyway due to work and such it's been complicated but finally I can redeem myself a bit It's December almost Christmas so what a better time of year to travel And I'm going to travel now for about six weeks or so but they'll be different trips So you won't see a super long trip either but anyway I think they're going to be cool destinations And the first destination of this trip is already shown in the video's title I'm going to Vietnam I'll be there for a bit more than two weeks And nothing it's a country that had a lot of desire Southeast Asia is my favorite it's one of my favorite regions in the world And well I'm gradually covering them but Vietnam is one of the most well-known places and I haven't been there yet So I'm really looking forward to meeting him there are so many places to see but it's also true that I haven't booked anything yet Oh well I always plan something but you know last year in South America you saw that I didn't book anything And this time it was the same meaning I have a rough plan of the things I want to see during this time But I only have the flights and the first night's hotel in Hanoi where I land in the capital From there I'll just improvise and well I prefer it that way because if I'm comfortable in a place I stay longer If another place doesn't suit me as much I'll leave earlier but if I meet people who say "Hey let's go to such a place " then I'll join in I don't have to worry about topics I've already covered so I like that part and that's it I'm already on the plane I've boarded and it's awesome because it's completely empty And then you have for example me here with my seats and I have space to lie down here meaning I'm like in business class Oh this is great so there's no one on the whole plane So it's now about 6 and a half hours flight to Doha and then there I have a 4-hour layover To catch the next flight that takes me directly to Hanoi So nothing else since I had to get up very early as soon as it took off I was here and I've already slept First half of the trip to Hanoi is done up to Vietnam We have already landed in Doha the truth is that the flight was a breeze because it was empty Then you had all the seats to yourself the movies some of which have been released a few weeks ago The food is quite good like it was in business class The truth is it was luxurious I mean the six hours and something flew by and that's obvious But come on I haven't slept at all and I should be sleeping because I slept very little today I will arrive at 7 in the morning in Doha and I have to endure the whole day after that So nothing else we're now in Doha I have about 4 hours of layover here I'm on the next flight the last one until reaching Hanoi And nothing else I'm going to try to sleep because I'm dying of sleepiness it's going to be another 6 hours of flight And yes Team 20 that is I remember these noise-canceling headphones well they're amazing Well they isolate all the noise so I'm almost not hearing myself speak Do they drown out all the noise from the engine which is what I constantly dream about right But apart from that the other noises that occur during the flight are isolated so they become annoying it's a real pain So nothing else I'll try to sleep and see you in Hanoi He finally landed in Hanoi I'm a bit tired because I slept very little I think in the last 48 hours I've slept I don't know 5 or 6 hours or something like that I'm completely broken I'm in pain my head is about to explode my eyes hurt I just want to sleep now But it's already 7 in the morning which is the time I just landed And of course I'm going to the hotel to drop off my things but besides I don't want to waste a day They wouldn't give it to me until 2 or 3 in the afternoon If not I would take a little nap now and then get going when I can Because if not I'm going to be dead But anyway I've finally arrived in Hanoi Vietnam and I'm really eager to start as soon as I'm settled And nothing for now all the immigration process here has been super easy There's no one at Hanoi airport it's empty Y perfecto so now I'm waiting for the suitcase the large backpack And then once I have that I'll take the SIM card for these days and head straight to the city I'm already at the hotel super early But anyway they let me check in earlier because I need to rest Oh my head is exploding and I need to rest a bit because otherwise I'm going to die from visiting Hanoi already So I'll be resting a bit in the room and then with some energy maybe I can get some sleep I am going to explore the city And there I've already arrived at the hotel everyone is super nice I find them excessively kind This is the room as you can see they've put a very cute bed here with flower petals And well this is just a curious decoration Here is a closet that has everything related to a minibar The water is free and some other things and then here's the fridge And that's it the room as you can see isn't very big but it's quite good There's air conditioning there and here is the bathroom which is good it's fine Above there are these showers that I like so spacious So nothing I'm not complaining it's pretty good This hotel has 4 stars and it's around 30 euros a night or something like that That is it's very good Asian luck is very cheap for accommodation In Vietnam for example here in Hanoi you can find somewhere to stay for as little as two euros a night Even if it's in shared rooms Then there is something for every budget but good if you want to go to a 4-star hotel like this Even one of 5 because it's not very expensive for what we are used to in Europe and so on But anyway if you want to save money you also have that option So nothing else rest and see you later I'm on my way I've finally left the hotel I have been resting for about 4 or 5 hours but I needed it So I hurried now so I wouldn't be late I don't know if I'm burning I came here to visit you know the whole area around the hotel which is where everything most touristy is I have come to Hoan Kiem Lake which is one of the most well-known lakes in Hanoi There's one that's bigger a bit further west Well if I have time I'll go over there now because there's a pagoda and such and it must be nice But it's also right next to the hotel and has a bridge that's really cool It looks like a small island in the middle So it's worth coming to take a walk It's especially nice on days like today when the weather is so pleasant And now I'm seeing a small island That's for sure this city is a complete mess I pretty much expected this in this type of Asian city But that's all full of motorcyclists of people There are traffic lights but they don't change color You still have to be the one to go through If you don't take the first step they won't let you pass You have to walk cross and like Moses over the waters Well people will start to leave But you have to go with conviction or else people won't let you through I am here in front of the San Jose Cathedral It draws a lot of attention because it is a cathedral as if it were this It's practically like Notre Dame and is in the center of Hanoi And it's from the 19th century Then it's interesting how it contrasts with everything that is Vietnamese culture It has influences from neighboring countries with a Catholic church That's very interesting They've even put up the Christmas tree here With the manger scene and everything So there must be a fairly large Christian community here The Museum of Literature is one of many places dedicated to Confucius This is from the 11th century It was in fact the first national university And it is used as a way to recognize what knowledge is Here is the main temple That is from the 11th century And that is what was dedicated to Confucius In fact there are several images inside so that devout people can come to pray In fact there are many people here praying You can leave offerings etc And the truth is that it's a place that radiates peace No cleanliness but it radiates peace One of the most important people here in Vietnam Because he was the one who led nationalism in Vietnam during the Indochina wars Especially during the First Indochina War When the French were expelled from their colonies here in Vietnam Then he was also one of the main political leaders during the Vietnam War It was in that one that the United States participated from 55 to 75 He was also the prime minister and president of Vietnam for a long time Until he finally gave it up because he started having health problems And he eventually passed away Then in his honor the old city of Saigon Many people still know it as Saigon in southern Vietnam It was renamed Ho Chi Minh And here in Hanoi they built a mausoleum where Ho Chi Minh is preserved It can be visited but is currently closed I don't know when it will be open And as he was a
