I am beyond excited to share with you how I decorated a Balsam Hill Christmas tree for the foyer of our new store. Balsam Hill contacted me and asked me if they could provide me a tree, and then I would share how I decorated and what products I used. Well, of course, I said "yes!" Christmas tree decorating is my favorite thing to do ever! Below I have listed a ton of details and links for you. From what products I used, tips from Balsam Hill on how to choose a tree, their Christmas tree decorations calculator, a special coupon code, and more!
Hello my name is Jennifer. Balsam Hill asked me to decorate one of their stunning Christmas trees
so let's get started. The tree I chose is a nine foot slim tree. I will put the link in the
description. The branches on these trees are not only so full but they're so realistic looking they
look like a real fir tree. Scott put up the tree in the foyer of our store and did a great job of
fluffing it. I cannot tell you how important it is to fluff your tree. The next thing I'm going to
do is I'm going to make the bows for the tree. If you'd like to know how I make Christmas bows
all you need to do is click on the tab on the right of this video and then I made my tree topper
and guess what I made a video on how I did that. You're going to just click here
or look for the link in the description of this video. Now it's time for my secret trick
and that is creating bundles using different stems. You want to start by taking each stem and
spreading them out as full as they can be and then you begin stacking them together. Once they're
stacked together reach through and pull some of the stem up to the top. Don't worry about being
too rough with your stems just keep pulling until they all have mixed together. I zip tied them
together and then I clip the ends of the stems. Now it's time to add the bundles to the tree.
Now the trick to adding them evenly to your tree is creating a diamond pattern in between
the ribbon. Now look how full this makes the tree. Do you know my trick for hanging ornaments?
Let me show you. I start by clipping the string off from the ornament and then I add an ornament
hook. I place it on the branch and this allows that ornament to hug closely to the branch.
It's time to add the ornaments and again to keep the tree balanced I am going to place
the ornaments in a diamond pattern. Finally it's time for these beautiful balsam hill
droplet ornaments and again I'm going to follow that diamond pattern all the way around the tree.
This is all you need to make this a beautiful Christmas tree. These branches are so full and
so thick that it doesn't take a lot to make a stunning Christmas tree for the holidays.
I want to say thank you so much to Balsam Hill for gifting us this tree that we could showcase
in our store for you and also show you guys how to decorate a Christmas tree for the holidays.
I will put a link with the tree in the description of my video as well as the
other Balsam Hill items I used on this tree. Don't forget to subscribe to my channel because
we're going to have some wonderful videos coming out this season. Be sure to leave me a comment.
I try to answer every one of them and everybody stay safe and stay well.
