Eight days to go, oh my god.
I've got the day off work today, I'm going to pick up my wedding dress from the dry cleaner,
I need to run a few errands, I've got some invoices to pay, I need to confirm things
with the band, I've got to go to Officeworks and get the seating chart and the menus printed
out, and then I'm having the family over tonight for a barbecue, just to enjoy this moment
together and get excited, because even though this is a very exciting time, there are still
a lot of things stressing me the F out.
Obviously there's a lot to do for the wedding, but I actually feel like I'm on top of it
all, I've got like 10,000 to-do lists, I'm very organised when it comes to that, but
the house has been stressing us out, the builder really needed the deposit from the bank and
the bank was delayed and they weren't paying it, and then there was going to be a delay
on our timber if it didn't get paid straight away, so yesterday we spent all day trying
to friggin get in contact with the bank, but anyway, hopefully that's sorted now, and also
Victoria just went into a snap lockdown, so there's still a state in between us, but it's
very scary, because as we know, these lockdowns can happen just like that, so fingers crossed,
here in Queensland everything stays the same, because we're so close, so bloody close.
I went to counselling last night and we just talked about the wedding and setting boundaries
and making sure that I'm feeling good and relaxed leading up to it, and on the actual
day, making sure that I've got people around me that are helping me and supporting me,
and just really enjoying this time together and celebrating our relationship, so it was
really good, it's put me in a really good space, and I'm excited to get things done
and it's going to be so soon!
Mum's practising her dance moves, right, wedding's a week away, thoughts, opinions, feelings?
So excited, so nervous, I'm giving a speech, if you guys don't know, and I'm made of honour,
I'm also nervous, a lot of pressure, ---- and bricks, to say the least, we're excited!
Yeah, practise the walk down the aisle with me, so you're nervous for your speech Miles,
have you got it written? You ready?
It's all written.
Did you see the photo?
No, of her speech.
What? Photo of what?
Hi babe!
Of Miley Cyrus?
No, hang on, I'll show you, don't ask.
This is...
Is this Miley when she wrote the speech?
I can't even think about writing the speech.
And then?
Impossible.
That's so ugly.
That's classic.
I literally cried for four hours.
So how's the speech go?
And how are you boys feeling for the wedding?
A little shaky, I'm about to do cold feet.
Cold feet, as if!
Three days to go, oh my god, I finished up work yesterday.
I feel like I can finally just relax and enjoy this moment.
Although, I am very stressed at the moment because the house and the bank is like,
doing my head in because it's all at the same time.
But that's alright, we're focusing on the wedding.
I was so spoiled from my staff and customers.
I had a customer make me this huge pavlova.
It looks so good and I'm going to eat it tonight with the fam.
I received cards and flowers.
My house literally looks like a forest.
Look at this.
These are all the flowers.
I've got some from staff members, customers.
These are from Clinton because it was our 13 year anniversary the other day.
Flowers from my sister.
Flowers from one of my cousins who can't make it to the wedding.
I've received cards and more gifts.
I'm really feeling the love at the moment from everyone around us.
And it just feels really good.
So today I have a few things to do.
I need to go pick up the seating charts and the menus from Officeworks.
I'm getting my nails done.
Oh my god, I haven't had my nails done in years.
What else is on my to-do list?
I need to head to Kmart.
I've printed out some photos of loved ones to put up at the receptions.
I'm going to go get them and get frames for them.
I have a phone call with the band and then I can finish up the scheduling.
So I think it's going to be a good productive day.
Okay, so I've got my Officeworks goods.
These are the menus just on plain white paper.
Nothing crazy.
And then this is the seating chart.
I thought it was going to be like on a flat board, like cardboard.
I asked her if I can reprint it on cardboard and she said not in store.
They only have like rolling printers.
So I bought a piece of cardboard and glue and double-sided tape.
And I'm going to try and glue it to a thicker piece of cardboard so that it can stand on an easel.
So we'll see how that goes.
Alright, so I went to Kmart, picked up my photos.
They did print a little smaller than what I thought, but that's okay.
I've got some frames.
I am just like so stressed about the house stuff.
I feel like it's really taking over how I should be feeling leading up to the wedding.
I'm just so frustrated with the lack of communication with the bank and the builder
that it's just boiling up inside of me.
Come on, Ross. I'm trying to talk.
Yeah, it's just boiling up inside of me and it's just taking over my mind
where I feel like I should be thinking about the wedding.
And it's just like making me feel sick in the stomach because I'm so angry.
Oh my God.
Don't plan a wedding and build a house at the same time because it's not a good idea.
I just need to keep telling myself I've done everything I can within my control.
That's all. That's all. That's all I can do.
I just have to wait, which makes me angry because all I've done is wait, wait, wait.
I don't know what I'm doing, but I started watching wedding videos on YouTube
and now I'm sitting here crying because I'm like, that's going to be me on Saturday.
I just can't believe it's finally here.
Four minutes ago I was in an angry rage and now I'm crying.
Oh my God. I'm just so frazzled.
I got my nails done. Aren't they cute?
I'll try and get a nicer clip of them, but I got almond shape.
I think that's what they're called.
I'm like a nudey pink and I've got a little bit of a silver glitter in them.
So cute. It feels really weird doing things with nails.
When I logged onto my phone, I'm like, oh.
But anyway, I just had a phone call with the band.
I wanted to be home, but I wasn't home in time.
So I didn't have my notes on me.
So I just need to go over what we talked about.
I feel like I'm meant to be relaxed.
So we've hired a band called One Fun Band.
And so you get a solo musician.
So for the reception, so 5.15 he'll be ready to go.
5.15 to 5.45 is the MC welcome.
So he said that he'll bring an extra mic for the MC.
Speech is still going, change to 6 p.m.
Oh, okay. I needed to check that with him.
I felt like a bloody idiot on the phone
because I'm trying to remember things that I wrote down.
I didn't have it on me.
Speeches are from 5.30 to 6.
Okay, I'm just going to trust them.
Okay, they do this all the time.
They come up with this timeline.
They've seen my timeline.
I don't need to ask 10,000 questions.
It's got in brackets, it's background music
while the speeches are going.
So not, I'm going to ask him.
I'm going to ask him.
Oh my God.
Our first dance song is Simply the Best by Tina Turner.
I'm so excited.
I got the idea from Schitt's Creek
when Patrick sung it to David.
I was like, oh my God.
It's actually a really beautiful song.
So we're going with the original.
I'm really excited.
Good morning.
So it's Friday and...
I said get out of the way, Ross.
It's Friday and we are headed up to the venue.
So we're actually getting married in a town called Cameroon.
The venue's called Yabulumba Retreat.
And we actually come across it one day
when we were going camping.
Is that when we first saw it?
Yeah, because they had like some glamping tents set up out there.
And we're like, oh, what's that?
And then when we were searching for venues,
I was really struggling.
And then Clinton did like one Google search.
And it come up.
Yeah, and he's like, what about this place?
This is Clinton, by the way.
I don't know if he's really been in this vlog much,
but this is my future husband.
I just wanted to see how we're feeling.
I feel like I can't really explain how I'm feeling right now.
How are you feeling?
Just a mixture of nerves and excitement.
Yeah.
Mainly nerves.
Yeah, mainly nerves.
It just doesn't feel all right, Ross.
Enough's enough.
I feel like there's a lot of lead up and anticipation as well.
It's just a weird feeling.
Part of me just wants to cry, and I don't know why.
But it's good to have everyone around us that's really excited
and vibing us up, I guess.
Because when you're the one doing all the planning and organizing
and sorting everything out, you kind of forget.
Someone on Instagram asked how we met.
My version is we met at school, and we used to hang out at parties.
Clinton would just try and find me at parties and want to hang out with me.
Yeah, well, what's your version?
Probably not that PG.
You're always chasing me.
That's for sure.
Yeah, we met in school, hung out at parties a lot,
and then I started to get feelings for him.
Yeah, and then the rest is history, really.
No, I actually asked Clinton out, and he said,
yeah, but don't tell anyone.
But I was like, okay.
And I told all my friends.
So I think he was embarrassed of me.
No, I just wanted to keep the options open.
Options, as in, it's just me.
Any relationship advice?
Not really.
Yeah, I feel like we just work, so I don't really know what advice to give.
It helps if you're really easy, like I am.
Like I am.
Put up with a lot of your fiancé being so organized and productive.
Yeah, it's hard, isn't it?
I don't know.
I reckon just talk about your feelings.
Very important.
Communicate.
Very important.
And just have fun.
I want to know what moment that you're most excited for.
Well, moments, because I've got a few.
Well, probably the ceremony.
Yeah.
Pretty nervous about that part.
I think that one.
Yeah.
And then just like the party after.
Yeah.
After everything's done.
The formalities.
The formalities, yeah, and everyone just relaxed.
It'll kind of feel like, yeah, a bit of a relief.
Relief?
Yeah.
Like we can just focus on having a great time.
Yeah.
I'm really looking forward to walking down the aisle and you seeing me in my dress.
And just like having all, like being surrounded by people who really,
really love and care about us.
And just, yeah, everyone having a good time and just feeling that,
you know, that love.
It's just going to be so nice.
And I'm excited to hear your vows.
He has talked them up quite a bit.
Oh, yeah.
It's not going to lie.
But, yeah, I'll try and get some footage when we're at the venue to show you.
And I do have my little sister on vlogging duty.
Like, you know, if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.
But I'd love to get some little clips to remember and also share.
Got my dress back here.
No peeking at the dress, Clinton.
All right.
The tears come out.
As I said before, I wanted to cry as soon as I saw the venue.
How beautiful is it?
Oh, my gosh.
The grass does look good.
Aren't they cute?
This is an inside of the gold package tent.
Wow.
Seriously, this venue.
Oh, go on, Kia.
Ready?
Five, six, seven, eight.
Do you remember?
No, I don't know.
That was everything to the table.
Yeah, thank you.
Wow.
It's a fire.
You okay?
Right?
Big swings.
And the view.
Oh, my God.
It's for the bow.
I'm literally going to the bow part.
For myself.
I know.
Husband or wife.
Stop.
That's not very good.
Oh, hello.
What are you doing?
I can't.
Yeah?
I can't.
All right, so Sarah's done a bit of setting up here.
Right?
And the musician will be set up in here playing some songs for everyone.
Yep.
How are you feeling, ladies?
Oh, we're so excited.
So excited.
I'm a little bit drunk already.
Is that all you've had?
Yeah.
Have you had one more beer?
Nope.
Wow.
Oh, my God.
Okay.
So we're just having a little wind down moment.
The boys have just left.
So they're off to, they've got an Airbnb.
And I'm just in my cabin.
I just can't believe it's here.
The venue looks so beautiful.
Like the grass is green.
The dam's full.
Sarah's done a great job setting up in there.
She'll finish setting up tomorrow once the florist gets here and stuff.
But, oh, my God.
I just come into my cabin and Tennille has already put a little card in here.
Thanks, everyone, for supporting me through this wedding moment.
And it still makes me sad thinking of postponing.
So it's like, I just can't believe that we're here.
Yay.
Oh, I'm so very excited.
Yay.
Tennille.
Oh.
Miss Kiki.
Thank you.
And Sean.
Thank you.
Oh, I can't read that now.
Ready?
Would you like to open it?
Here you go.
In here.
What's this?
Oh, that's so cute.
Oh, cute.
So we just spent the night with the bridal party and my family,
with my sisters and my mom.
And I just, we've just gone back to our cabins.
I'm running a bath.
I'm just so emotional because I just can't believe that it's happening.
We did our rehearsal this afternoon and it's just like, oh, my God.
It's going to be us tomorrow.
I'm actually going to walk down the aisle to you.
There's just so many emotions and it's so hard to describe.
I do cry very easily too.
But I think it's what I needed to do because the last couple of days I've
just felt so busy and so weird.
And like, I know I've needed to cry, but it just hasn't, like,
I just haven't.
So I'm happy.
I'm so happy.
I'm going to have a bath.
I'm going to have a red wine.
I'm probably going to cry a little bit more.
But they're happy tears, I promise.
I just, just so much lead up.
Like all the planning and then postponing and then planning again.
Like, there's just so much lead up and anticipation for this moment.
And it's just, it's just a lot.
So I think it'll be good.
It's like 730.
I'll have the night to myself.
I'm going to go to bed very soon.
Seriously, though, like, look at this dress.
Oh, God.
It is just so beautiful.
Oh, my train is just, look, oh, this is it.
When I wake up in the morning, I'm getting married.
It's wedding morning.
Look how pretty it is.
Kiki.
Look, we don't look so glamorous right now.
But just wait.
Watch this space, people.
Does Vogue have anything to say?
She's crying.
My favorite Loreal and Taliban.
She is beauty.
She is grace.
Oh, my God.
It's so dramatic.
Wow.
I've got to go.
See you later.
Kiki.
And Sean and Tamil.
It's your wedding day.
And Barb looking beautiful, too.
We can see some guests rolling up.
There's cars down there.
I've just got to get the good lighting.
Oh, my God.
Today you'll be a bride.
Tomorrow you're going to be a wife.
But I want you to remember that you're my baby girl for the rest of your life.
I love you and I'm so proud of you.
I can't tell you what this moment means and feels and just how proud I am of your love to Clinton.
And how much I love you.
I love you so much.
I love you.
Oh, this is going to be so long.
So this is the aftermath of my dress.
Looks good.
A little bit of red wine.
Oh, my God.
And a rib.
Oh, my God.
How are you feeling, Mum?
Swinging a two litre sparkling water.
What the hell?
Oh, good morning.
How was your sleep?
It was good.
Yeah, Sean slept in it.
Morning, second son.
Well, we're married.
Oh, my God.
It was amazing.
Everything was beautiful and went to plan and the weather was great.
And now we're both just like, peace out.
