hi guys and welcome back to my channel if you are new welcome my name is Hannah and in today's video we are talking about a beautiful gift that you can give to yourself or someone special in your life ado let's get into this you guys are probably thinking where are you Hannah this is a completely different backdrop and it's super fun I'm actually filming in my sister Morgan's house that is actually my next-door neighbor as well we wanted to do something fun because this video is showcasing her winter box for her subscription if you are just clicking on this video my sister Morgan is a talented designer here in San Diego where she does full-blown home renovations as well as a brick-and-mortar of curated home decor items and she also offers a quarterly subscription box based around the seasons I've already talked about these on my channel I've already done all the other seasons and it's only appropriate to showcase her final season of the year which is winter so I will be discussing all the items that you can find within this box so if this is something you are wanting to watch please just keep on watching but let's get into kind of the nitty-gritty of this box so we're gonna dive into each individual item that you can anticipate within this winter box now one thing that was really cool about this box in particular one it is my favorite box that she has done thus far but it was really fun because I haven't told you guys this but I've started to work part time for my sister when I'm not creating content so I actually was able to partake in this box and to be able to give feedback and we were able to brainstorm some different ideas so it was really fun to kind of see the back end of things when making this box come full circle and I really think my sister did a fantastic job with this box I think you guys will absolutely love it I think this box is going to be great for a gift for someone that maybe you don't know very well maybe you need to shop for your mother-in-law or someone in your life or if this is something you want to treat yourself to on a quarterly basis this is also something that I think everybody can benefit from so the first item you can anticipate within this winter box is of course her candle she had to do just the traditional scent of Christmas and that is of course a pine scented candle so the notes within this candle are evergreen cypress and fir a little bit about this candle it is 90 hour burn time it is double whipped as you can see it is infused with essential oils and a hundred percent coconut wax so it's a really clean burning candle which is something I think we all need to take in consideration when we are burning them in our home another thing that I really enjoy about her packaging is it's just simple and clean if you are gifting this for someone in your life and maybe you don't know their home decor style the packaging is just super super clean there's not a lot going on and this does come with a wood top obviously I have it off for filming purposes but it does come with a natural wood top it's just super clean super aesthetic and this is going to be the first item you're gonna find in your box the second item you're going to find within this box is a beautiful vase so this is actually a solid terracotta vase it's got a really fun shape to it it's almost in like a footed pedestal style small opening so you don't actually need a lot to fill the space you can have stems in it or you can have without and use it as a decor element on some open shelving so really love this it's got some serious weight behind it but I think this is a really fun thing to just add to your decor and just have another little tool in your toolbox when Morgan was designing this particular box her thoughts one of a story behind each box that she creates is this one was geared towards the living room freshening up some items maybe on your coffee table in your living room space so that was kind of the direction she went so if you are wanting to have a fun little new vase to your collection this is the second item you can anticipate in her to add of course that holiday flair she included they're gonna be noisy she included this trio set of brass bells isn't that fun these are really popular everybody loves styling with these they are absolutely amazing for the holiday season I'll get a really close-up of these so it's kind of a rustic Bell brass finish it is not supposed to be perfect and it's got the wood part there so you can actually have some sound and it's on twine it does come and like I said it comes in a trio they are tied together but these are really fun because it's going to add that just holiday by that holiday just a core element to any place that you want to style these on now these are fun these are extremely universal in what you can do with them you can have these on your fireplace mantle if you have a staircase even if you have a wreath maybe on your front door of your apartment there are so many endless ways that you can sell with these bells so that was a really fun aspect that she added to just bring that holiday spirit so that's the third item you can anticipate with all right item number four I'm actually really excited because this is a first for my sister and this was something that she had gone back and forth with and I was something that I actually got to help her with and I love the selection that she chose she ended up putting Jenny Kane's Pacific natural at home coffee table book in this box I absolutely love this I own this book it is stunning if you are a home decor lover not only is it aesthetically pleasing to the eye from an exterior standpoint but when you really go through this book there's so much beautiful inspiration so if you're a home decor lover if you love getting inspiration through your coffee table books this is just going to be a beautiful addition to your collection so you are going to be getting again Pacific natural at home coffee table book within your box as well so that is the next item all right and the last and final two items that you can anticipate within this winter box is a textile now usually my sister will do kitchen towels she'll do she's done throw blankets in the past she's done a beach towel but she's never done pillow covers so you are going to be getting two 20 by 20 pillow covers I'll show you the first one that you can anticipate love this this is a natural linen and cotton pillow cover that you're going to be receiving you can kind of tell it's got a muted pattern in here it is almost embossed into the pillow so it's a little bit subtle so if you want to pop this on your couch it's gonna go perfectly with really anything you pair with it and that was one thing I really enjoy about these particular pills once you see the other one is regardless if you have Beach Coastal a farmhouse you have you know Scandinavian whatever your style might be these pills will really go with any home decor style that it is paired with so this is the first one I'm going to show you guys up close what it looks like so there is the pattern up close again you can tell it's a little bit more embossed super pretty absolutely love this so this is the first pill that you can anticipate and the second one that I'm most excited for is this beautiful striped pillow so this is the second and final item you will get in your winter box it is a beautiful kind of irregular striped pattern pillow it has the cream and then the brown it's like a very subtle brown it's it's reading a little bit dark on camera but it's very muted in person it's extremely soft to the touch again same material a cotton linen and this is what it looks like up close you guys will see my b-rolls but pairing these two pillows together they're just so so pretty they complement each other perfectly my sister did a fantastic job of this box it is so neutral it is so simple and I
