2 nights debris village building

Back again. We've just got dropped off at the village. Tyson and me we're going to do another two nights so that's like five nights I've been here this week. Practically living here now so yeah. Well I'm not but you know what I mean. So I'm back to do more work on my epic shelter. Hopefully get this one finished. Just got like three logs to put in this side and then it's done Then a tarp to put on the top which I have in my long tarp bag over there. Sun is bright in the sky and then the moon's like there. Yeah Tyson's mooching around somewhere. Somewhere. I've put a Gore-Tex tarp on the roof. It's epic. I've put the two logs on the back end here so I've just got that to moss and then maybe another one two three or maybe two three three there and moss and then it'll be pretty much done. That's all the logs in. Just the moss in now. Got side track three top of my table and putting a second level in just so I can stack logs in there off the ground and dry them just because these little bits dry easy but these logs need a little time. Using my knife. I can't see the moon though. Too much cloud coverage. There's the moon shining through now. Morning all. Tyson's having his breakfast. Put another couple of things in here last night. Mossed that up. I've still got one lazy little back bit here to do and then that's that finished. I'm still going to put a load of stuff on that roof to weigh it down. Fire's a go. Pathfinder pot's on for coffee. Give me a nice cappuccino. Right I'm going to go and get moss. Look at the top moss now. Had me some bananas and yogurt for breakfast. Tyson's chilling over there. I've been busy. Brought this log in here and this log in. Old stuff that's been laying around for ages. I've been collecting for about an hour now. Again I've got this stacked up on the outer rim. Well not on the outer rim. I'm about one acre away from the village. Lots of nice firewood and big logs. I do like it how everything's just so green and grown up. I suppose all the calm anywhere will do it good. There's loads of grass to come through. For months it'll probably be waist deep. I'm collecting my further away piles first. House is in now. I'm stacking all the firewood in there. Just because I'm keeping this clean because I've decked it out I'm going to put another little raised bed in there and use that as a sleeping shelter. So that can be sleeping shelter, stroke, sitting shelter. That's my log collection there. Yeah that's a wood one. This one's a sleeping one. Yeah lots of choice. You could probably sleep in there too if you have to. Not that you had to. You know what I'm saying. Me and Jelly Babies. So yeah this year I'm building so that I don't have to give up a single inch of the village this winter. Because I'm fed up of building all summer and then suffering massive losses in winter. So if I just build it properly the first time, like this bad boy here, it'll survive. Still need to think of a better roof for this year because that's not going to do. I'll work some out. As I say I'm just going to spend the first couple of weeks pondering around building little things like this. Because we're up to four shelters now and I've almost got enough logs to start walling for something in that corner. Just because I boxed that off with willow. So it'd be nice to have another roof in there. But maybe keep this wall as on to it. You know what I mean. Because that is quite a cool wall. So I've stocked under the table too. More wood. Tyson's enjoying the shelter as always. Let's get a stack of log. He's just grown and grown and grown. So is my pile of firewood. Everything's right. Started to, I kind of like swept up the floor a bit. Still a bit to do. I'm going to do it again and again and again. See if I can get it right back to niceness. Filling all the holes that have accumulated. I put Tyson on a lead because there's deer around and I caught him chasing one. He didn't catch it. But it's still good just keep him on a lead while they're around. Still accumulating logs. Got another one there lying around and I'm going to go and fetch those lengths I just had. Tyson's getting tired with all running back and forward. Farmer's working. You can hear in the tractor. Moon is back in the sky. So I've been cooking chicken. My path, the largest path finder pot. I've got some mushrooms and some peppers I'm hiding there. For dessert I've got jammy dodgers or jammy creams and a chocolate brownie. While next to this, sitting next to this bad boy.
