Hey guys, just an update here on the devastation here at Ocean Beach.
They've got everything flagged off so you can't get in here.
So I've had to jump the boat, we've got a nasty, what's that, five foot,
five foot drop off straight from our entrances. So grandma can't come down here anymore.
This is all just fresh sand dune that we've never seen fall down before.
And you know, come back two years ago, the sand dunes came right out to here.
Sand dunes were right out here and then there was a beach out here.
So in the last couple of years, nature has come right in here of beauty.
Now, right around the corner, two years ago, it ripped into just that edge there and they
had to sandbag it with five ton sandbags, a thousand of them. Cost a pretty penny.
And looks like it's happening all this edge here now too. Now where you see all these trees up
here, right up there, the road is only 20 foot away from that. Before, down around the corner,
we got to about six foot away from the road. So this is pretty awesome here. Ocean Beach,
New South Wales, the central coast. And let's take a look at the next entrance.
There's all, look at that, just, I'm surprised I haven't found any pennies or any coins or anything
just falling out. So here's the other entrance here. It's got about a four foot drop-off and
pretty much every single entrance around there has just been flagged off because you just can't
get to it. Further around there, the drop-offs are like 20 foot drop-offs. So look at this here,
that's huge. It's just falling out from underneath the blanket of shrubbery we had up there.
That's all just coming out now. That's all gone. That's like, that has to be 30 foot in the air,
20 foot. I exaggerate everything. You probably know that by now if you watch all my videos.
But this is a lot of fresh sand out of here. So 10 cubic meters of sand.
So I've got the detector in the car, the Excalibur, and it's high tide right now.
And, well, she's not coming up here. I was down here last night for the little high tide
and the little high tide was coming up here, but I'm pushing sand up here.
So way too much sand on this sort of edge here, but as you can see, well and truly into the
fresh sand dunes. And, well, by today, if all the weather had gone right, I thought there would
have been hundreds of people down here trying to get coins and TV cameras and everything. But
it's turned out a bit of a fizzle. There's nothing. But that's what's happened to our
coast, the central coast. Nature's come right up and wants to claim all this area.
Looks like she's going to get it. Now we've got big winds coming tonight, so hopefully that might
do something. Awesome. All right, guys. Thanks for subscribing. Thanks for watching. And I'll
keep you updated on the next couple of days on what happens here at Ocean Beach, New South Wales,
Central Coast. See you guys.
