2017 Ford F250 Super Duty Lariat 6.7 Power Stroke Diesel Crew Cab 4x4 HD

Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Christopher and today we're going to be unlocking the 2017 Ford F Super Duty 250 Lariat. This one is in the 6.7 power stroke turbo diesel. It's just been redesigned for 2017 and let's take a closer look. So let's take a look at the exterior of this Super Duty here. This one is in the gorgeous shadow black. You can see they went with the Lariat side badging here with the F250 right along the side. That's new for the 2017s. We do have our trailer tow mirrors as well and the 6.7 liter power stroke turbo diesel badging right at the bottom. This one does come with the black and chrome running boards. You can choose optional power deployable running boards that they added to the 17s. So the biggest change in the 2017 is the military grade aluminum body. They went with same thing as the F150s making the truck 350 pounds lighter and it still keeps its strong steel frame. Nice chrome handles on the outside as well Ford signature key pass system here for your keyless entry. So this Lariat does come with a chrome package where you do get these 18 inch chromed aluminum like pvd rims. It also is going to come with the all-season tires as well. So again we're sticking with the chrome theme on the front. We do have this nice large two bar chrome grille here with the enormous Ford emblem right on the front. We also have the Super Duty badging right across the hood as well as your front chrome tow hooks and your led fog lights as well. Gorgeous and aggressive looking front. On the front it does come with these massive quad beam headlights. They're lit by leds themselves and they've been pulled forward from last year's model. Leaves only the turning signal that wraps around to the side of the vehicle here. Giving you tons of visibility when you're on the road and then you have the added fog lights for those situations. So on the back of the Super Duty again another massive Ford emblem and the Super Duty badging right on the tailgate. Does come with the chrome rear bumper and your backup sensors as well right on the back. So let's take a look at the tow hitch on the Ford Super Duty. This one your conventional towing is going to give you a maximum towing capacity of around 20,600 pounds. You can use the fifth wheel and gooseneck packages to up your towing to around the 27 to 28,000 pounds. Great for towing. It also is going to come with a trailer backup assist. So Ford's class exclusive backup assist system is going to help when you're backing up to the trailer. It also has a brand new to the 17s is a trailer tire pressure monitoring system. So not only will it monitor the tire pressure of your truck tires but it will tell you the tire pressure of your trailer tires as well. So a ton of cool new features with the towing package. Okay so the backup camera works with your trailer backup assist and it is located right here. Another cool feature that they added to the Super Duty's was the power tailgate. So it automatically adjusts and folds down just with the touch of a button. You still have to bring it back up but with the aluminum body it is a very nice light tailgate. They also added the generation 2 tailgate step where I can just step into the vehicle very easily using the system here and it folds right out of the tailgate and I can get right into the bed. So as you can see this one is already equipped with the fifth wheel prep package that's already installed with this Super Duty. It's a six foot seven inch size bed gives you a ton of space and it has a payload of capacity of around 7,000 pounds. So perfect for whatever you're doing. You also have Ford's locking system here and it comes with the four locking cleats and four tie downs in each corner. Okay so another great feature about the bed of the Super Duty is it does come with the LED box lighting. Just a light switch in the back of your bed makes it easy to see what you're working on back here at night time. Okay so let's unlock this vehicle and take a look at the inside. Ford did redesign the key for 2017 and you do have your lock unlock, your remote starter, your trunk release, and your panic button right on the key. It does have the quick access and smart key system so you can just leave your keys in the pocket to enter the vehicle. So on the 2017 Lariat it does come with these trailer tow power scope mirrors. They are breakaway mirrors and they are power folding. All the buttons are down below so you can do things like extend the mirrors if you have a trailer. You can extend the mirrors and bring them back in all power. You can adjust the mirrors and I can also fold them all in with the push of a button here. It also includes the LED spot lighting on the mirrors which are going to help see like street numbers on a house and addresses. The headlights are all automatic and we do have our fog light controls, our cargo lighting controls, our tailgate release, and our adjustable pedals all down below. Okay so we have this gorgeous charcoal leather interior all throughout the Lariat here. It does come with a 10-way adjustable power driver seat. The front two seats are heated as well as air-conditioned front seats and we do have the nice wood trim all throughout which gives it a nice luxury look. It does come with a power adjustable steering wheel so you can move it up and down and in and out just with the push of a button. With the Lariat you also have three different driver memory settings for your seat and steering wheel. Perfect if you have multiple drivers in the vehicle. So let's take a look under the hood. It does have the power hood there. So like I said this one is the 6.7 power stroke turbo diesel. It's going to pump out about 440 horsepower and 925 pound feet of torque. With the diesel you do get the longer powertrain warranty. The diesel engine powertrain warranty is five-year or $160,000 as opposed to the regular five-year $100,000. Also going to come with the three-year $60,000 comprehensive warranty as well. Okay so the interior of this Lariat does come with a ton of features. As I previously mentioned your heating and air conditioned seats are all down below. It does have the manual controls here. You can do dual climate controls and it is automatic to adjust the temperature. In the center stack we do have again the nice wood trim all throughout and two illuminated USB gauges are down below in the center console here. A ton of storage as well being as the steering column is right on the wheel there. Your 4x4 electronic rear axle controls and your brake controller are all down below here. It's all ready to go and this one does come equipped with the snow plow prep package so you're all ready to go with your snow plow prep package with the auxiliary switches as well. The navigation and infotainment system they went with the SYNC 3. Again I'm a big believer in this phenomenal system. I'm not going to get into detail about it. Check out my other video if you want to learn more about the SYNC 3 but everything is all right here from our climate controls, our phone, our nav, and our radio. Everything is done on the SYNC 3. Again for those hard days of work there is a 110 volt inverter there as well as your 12 volt right on the dash. Some unique features of this Lariat it does come with a lane keeping assist where it will tell you if you deviate from the lane as well as a blind spot monitoring system so it will tell you if someone's in your blind spot. They also added to this 2017 the blind spot monitor system will extend if you have a trailer will go farther back if you're towing with the trailer in those bigger blind spots. So let's take a look at the steering wheel of the Lariat. It is a leather wrapped wheel you do have your cruise control your bluetooth controls and your radio controls right on the wheel as well as your vehicle information controls right on the steering wheel here. One of my favorite things about this Lariat is it does have the adaptive steering so it reduces the amount of rotations that you need to turn the wheel when you're driving at low speeds giving you a more accurate steering input and just making it easier on the driver. It also comes with this massive vehicle information screen where you can do things like your fuel economy here's all the truck info that you need your tire pressure your dip fluid your digital speedometer everything is right on the information screen there's a towing screen as well as an off-road screen so tons of different settings you can play around with in there and it is a very accurate and large display. So the Lariat does come with the upgraded Sony sound system as well so with this Lariat Ultimate package you do get the power panoramic moonroof which is going to open and close all with the touch of a button here goes all the way to the back it lets a lot of light into the car and you can stop it at any time and also comes with the shade if you don't like it you can have the shade open as much or as little as you like. Also comes equipped with a power sliding rear window which opens up with the touch of a button and closes with the touch of a button. So this one is the crew cab so there's an additional three seats in the back it's a four-door truck there's a ton of space back here whether you have the back seats folded down or folded up again the nice charcoal leather and you do have the heated rear seats as well as another 110 volt inverter power outlet back here. One of my favorite features that they added to this 2017 is the full flat floor for your cargo space and let's take a look at this it does come with the flat floor or you can use it as your storage there it flips up nice and easy and then I can put whatever I have in the back here my tools or my snow brushes and things like that and it hides right below the seat.
