Stayed at the only Seven Star Hotel in the world in Dubai and it was the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at. It also includes nice amenities like the water park.
Burj Al Arab شارع جميرا، - Umm Suqeim 3 - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
Checking out of our first hotel here in Dubai and on our way to a once-in-a-lifetime stay.
This is going to be for one night. Staying at the only seven-star hotel in the world.
There it is, just entering the grounds. There's a water park here, giant water park,
right by the ocean. By the entrance too that you get full access to.
Thank you. You smell something?
That's good. For some reason, looking at that fountain, I now want a Big Mac. So there is a
problem. They just came to us and said that this is not the day we're supposed to check in. It was
you around. This is, I just, it's amazing. So you walk in and this is the living room.
And all rooms here are suites. And this is a little more expensive because you're paying for
the palm view. That's the palm. There's the beach you have access to. There's the pool right down
there. You also get access to a water park. And all the facilities you have access to, even on
the day you check out, until the facility is closed. So what we should have done was, because
our flight's really late, we should have just booked this on the last day and then just go to
the beach until midnight. The TV, gold, beautiful. There's a welcome basket of fruit. I'm really
excited about this little pineapple. Very excited to sit on that. Oh, this is way softer than I
thought. This is so nice. And when you come in, they give you assortment of amuse-bouche. Ikora,
maybe that's a little quail egg and caviar over maybe tuna. Assortment of chocolates.
And all you can drink, bottled water, both sparkling and not. The coffee room. Oh, here we go.
Coffee, tea. Oh, mini bar. Snacks, alcohol. Pillars in the room. And you got your own little
executive desk here. What is this? A stay safe kit, hand sanitizer, wipes. Now I am really curious
about this. Looks like a little space underneath the stairwell. Does Harry Potter live here or
something? What is this? Oh, looks like bedding and a rack for your luggage. This is bathroom
number one. Soap, towel, pooper, foam by pooper, bidet, towel by the bidet. Chandeliers.
It's a two-story suite. And when you walk up, first thing you see is this. This is the
getting ready area, makeup area, hair dryer, laundry bag.
Look at this. It's a slipper flip-flop collection. Soft slippers, flip-flops for the beach. They gave
you flip-flops for the beach? Different color slippers. That's awesome. Safe. Whoa. This is
the master bathroom. Towels, giant shaving kit, Hermes aftershave balm. It's giant size of that.
Toothbrush, mouthwash. Oh, it's like a men and women's. I bet this is expensive. Little seating
area in case you want to chill in the bathroom. Bathrobes, scale, jacuzzi. Oh, that's beautiful.
Shower in the master bedroom. King bed. What is this? Oh, more drinks here.
Lounge round area. Same view as downstairs. Clothes. Oh my god. That's the coolest thing
ever. And the bed, apparently you can order, I think, 17 different types of pillows. There's a
duvet. It's called Eiderdown. And it's the rarest, most exclusive in the world. Apparently,
this is harvested from abandoned eiderduck nests from Iceland. And only 2,000 kilograms are allowed
to be harvested every single year. So this is some exclusive duvet. There's a helipad upstairs.
It's built on a man-made island. The interior is covered in real 24 karat gold. And apparently,
there's 16 indoor florists. And they take up to eight hours every day just to make the flowers
for the lobby. Yeah, so all those things is the reason why this is the only seven-star hotel in
the world. Pellegrino is free here. Yeah, to make up for the difference, I'm gonna try my hardest
to drink about 100 bottles of those. Let's see about the food here. Oh, that's delicious. You
know, it's cucumber with some kind of cream cheese. I think that one's cured meat. Really
excited about this. Chocolates. Oh. Oh, that is so good. I think that's dark chocolate with orange
ganache in the middle. The chocolates are way better than the mouche-bouche. So to maximize this
room, I'm gonna go to the water park, maybe go to the beach, but I'm gonna spend a lot of time here.
They have this e-butler service. So you can contact the e-butler on your phone, and they'll show up
with pretty much whatever you need. And they also have a butler for every single floor. So the butler
brought us beach towels and a little bag to bring the beach towels. Can I keep this? And they got a
Let's check out the room service menu. So just looking at some of the menu items,
wow. To say it's expensive for in-room dining would be a huge understatement. For example,
a chicken burger, which includes brioche bun, cheddar cheese, lettuce, homemade barbecue sauce,
about $50. Grilled asparagus, $18. So is a order of steamed rice, about $18. It's about 7 p.m.
and someone came and they're cleaning our room already for the evening. I guess it's sort of
like a turndown service. Anyway, there's a bunch of restaurants and hotels, so I'm gonna go check
out one of those and come back. There's, there is a few items on the room service, in-room dining
menu, I do want to try that are relatively affordable. So we'll do that when we come back.
So dinner is at the restaurant called Sal. This is a Mediterranean restaurant. It's probably the
highest rated restaurant at this hotel. And you can choose to sit inside or outside. You're by
the pool. The ocean is right there. You warm enough, right? It's pretty cool. I like this.
This is the coldest Dubai has been. Since we've been here. Yeah. But it was warm enough at the water
park. That's what we really cared about. So they brought over tomato gazpacho and the bread looks
really, really good. Olive oil, vinegar. That's really, really good. Tomatoey and really spicy.
Freshly baked bread. This is excellent. Definitely freshly baked.
So this is the wild crab. A little bit of greens, mayo, eggs, and they serve it on a crunchy toast.
Some paprika for smokiness. A little sweet. Oh, this is really good. Especially on a
crunchy toast. Because the crab itself is really delicate and soft. Yeah, that's delicious. Sorry
for the audio. My battery pack is just went completely empty. I was gonna say, this crab
salad. Nice creaminess from the eggs. A little crunch from the pickles.
Dinner is a truffle pizza and a spicy ragutoni. This is a very, very truffly pizza. Toasty,
thin crust. Cheese is nice. Oh, actually this crust melts in your mouth.
That's so airy and nice. When it comes to truffle pizza, I think it's very hard for this to
not taste good. Just because of all the truffle. They shave down here and they
shave a lot of truffle on this. Only complaint I have about this, too small. Oh, here's a bigger
pizza. Usually I like pretty al dente pasta, but this is a tad wrong. This sauce is spectacular.
It's so herby and tomatoey and just loaded with heat. I think the two dishes we got here,
we ate three loaves of that free bread. So not a lot of food for what you're paying for,
but it's pretty good food. So at the end, didn't want to get any dessert,
but they brought over a couple of Portuguese egg tart. This is awesome.
This is the indoor pool. This is really, really nice. It's beautiful.
This is so pretty. I think especially in the daytime when the light's shining through
the windows. Pretty nice gym. Tons of machines. This gym gives you free coffee and a bottle of
water. Fitness studio as well with a punching bag. Kids club slash library. What?
Yeah, this hotel is a fancy.
Dinner number two. I got a crunchy egg. They sent up a international bread basket,
which I am really excited about. A bowl of chocolate mousse. This is 75% dark chocolate,
chocolate mousse. And this is a caramelized mango jello with some sorbet. This egg I am really,
really curious about. It's called a crunchy egg. That's all there was in the description of the
food. It just said crunchy egg. So it looks like maybe a little mayo, some stir fried vegetables.
That's actually beautiful. Cooked egg, golden runny on the inside, thin little crunchy shell
on the outside. This is definitely one of the most unique room service items I've ever, ever got. The
egg is definitely the best part of this. The light skin on the outside is super crunchy. The sauce is
just mayonnaise. The vegetables are deliciously crunchy. There's some olives, peppers, cucumbers,
I think. I mean, the outer shell is delicious. The egg white is soft. The yolk, deliciously
creamy and runny. Vegetables are good. I think the sauce could have been more or better than just
plain mayonnaise, but this is a delicious dish. And also they brought up a bread basket. Use that
to dip it in the egg a little bit. There's some vegetables there as well.
I think it's pretty good. I thought the outer shell was going to be a little soggy,
like not crunchy at all, really. Because when I cut into it, you didn't really hear a crunch or
anything. It's kind of bent with the knife. But that's such a delicious, crunchy outer shell. And
the egg is cooked absolutely perfect. I think if you order that and they give you a bread basket,
just those two things could make a good meal. On the description, it just said caramelized mango
and exotic jelly. I mean, it's a pretty dish. Whipped cream and some sorbet came with it.
I think it's yuzu sorbet. Oh my God, that's sour. Wow. That thing is way too sour for me. My tongue
is still trying to recover from that sour sorbet. It feels like I licked a porcupine. Jelly tastes
pretty good. Huge mango flavor, super smooth. Mango obviously is good. I like the egg. Nothing
really special about this dish. It's just really mango-y. If you like mangoes, you'll like this.
Nothing too unique though. This is 72% Tanzania chocolate mousse. And they put some gold leaves
on top. There's some nuts, some crunchy bits on the bottom. Oh, this is delicious. I mean,
when is chocolate mousse not spectacular? Am I right? So silky smooth. The chocolate just has
this awesome sweet bitterness to it. This is just 100% saving me from the yuzu sorbet from before.
This is the first time I've ever had a bread basket, especially one of so much variety being
just included with the meal, brought up to the room. There's butter, salted, non-salted, Tabasco,
mayonnaise, ketchup. And look at this, cute little rose bowl too. Also, there's an e-butler service
that comes with every single room. So you basically just text a butler with everything you need.
Today, I ran into an issue. I ran out of batteries for my microphone when I was filming dinner
downstairs. I messaged them, came back up to the room, fresh pack of batteries just sitting there.
Anyway, checkout is usually at 12 o'clock tomorrow. We managed to extend the checkout by a couple
hours. There is a breakfast buffet tomorrow morning that's actually included with the room.
So we'll check that out tomorrow and let you guys know how it is. Oh, one more thing.
The pillow menu. You got to see this. So I'm going to eat up and I'll show you the pillows.
The pillow fort. So these are the silk pillows. No way. Silk, revitalizing,
and their other two pillows, which are really nice as well. Then a giant body pillow. And
for turndown service, they put slippers over there for you. For mine. Oh my goodness.
Whoa. These are the best slippers. I'm taking them home with me. These are so comfortable.
They're like bouncy, fuzzy slippers. This thing is the softest thing. It feels like when you're
under the covers, you're literally like under the protection of the wing of a mother duck or
something. And we've been staying up as long as we can because every hour you're asleep,
you're kind of losing out a little bit. I'm fading. So I'm going to sleep and see you for
breakfast tomorrow. Good morning. It's about two o'clock in the morning. I woke up to get some
work done. They have this amazing coffee and a hot chocolate maker with tons of great tea
selections as well here. Early morning hot chocolate. It's good. That's pretty beautiful
to wake up to. All right, let's go check out this breakfast buffet. So first of all, this is the
most beautiful view I've ever had during breakfast and there's a buffet inside. Also, you can scan
for an a la carte menu that you can apparently order as much as you want. That includes porridge,
omelets, eggs benedict, scrambled eggs, shakshuka, there's avocado toast, there's french toast,
crepes. Then I guess if you want to pay extra, get truffle and caviar. I'm definitely getting
the shakshuka and an avocado toast and we'll see what they have in there.
First round from the a la carte menu. Avocado toast, beef shakshuka, and brisola toast. Also,
are these not the most perfect looking chocolate croissants you've ever seen? Oh my goodness,
this buffet is as extravagant as the hotel. We literally came back to the table and there's
someone standing by the table keeping the birds away from our bread basket. First of all,
fresh shakshuka. Oh my goodness, delicious gooey golden eggs, beef on the bottom, pomegranate,
tomatoes, some pine nuts. That looks as beautiful as the sunrise I saw this morning. Put that
on the pita. Oh, that is so good. Gooey, creamy, tender eggs all covering that beef
with little pops of pomegranate within every single bite.
Also, that great flavor from the pine nuts and we're sitting by the by the ocean and
this is really cool. They saw Christine was cold, we brought her a shaw. Anyway,
shakshuka is excellent. Just sitting here with this view, I'm good just eating bread and butter.
Mango juice mixed with sparkling water in there.
Sparkling mango. This avocado toast is beautiful. Not an expert on avocado toast,
but this thing, little sliced cucumbers, pomegranate, chilies on top, giving it a
bit of heat with a creamy avocado sitting on top of guacamole. It's a work of art. So far,
so good with everything I've tried so far. And brussela is this pure beef and this is sitting
on top of tomatoes, some kind of cream on the bottom. This is freaking mind-blowing. Oh,
it's sitting on top of stracciatella cheese. Every single bite, you get that burst of sweet
juice from the tomatoes, the smoky, delicious flavor from the cured meat. This is just the
epitome of creamy, sweet and savory. Best thing on a buffet so far. Well, my goodness,
I almost don't even want to break this open. Wow. I think, I think this is going to be crispy.
Oh, this is one of the best pastries I've ever put on my palate. Especially that sweet,
crunchy layer on top. I think it tastes like it was made by the hands of the food gods.
Hmm. That tectamon cheese is aggressive. Good, but aggressive. I mean, I'm pretty
sure I saw that cheese working out at the gym this morning. I think it's strong.
I love the pastries here. Oh god. I mean, the crunch is the first thing that kind of shakes
you. Do you notice how flaky it is? Then, the blissful chocolate takes over. Let's see what
else is on the menu. Hmm. This egg is so good. When you open it, just a stream of liquidy gold
and the egg whites also cook perfectly tender. Hmm. As good as the egg benedict are. I might
like this mushroom the most. Deliciously seasoned with a little pop in cherry tomato give a burst of
sweetness and juice. I might need another one of these. Also, got a French yogurt here.
Not really into yogurt, but I've never seen a pear yogurt before.
Wow. This yogurt tastes so light. More of a milky flavor than traditional yogurts I've had.
Very smooth. Very creamy. You get way more of a cheese flavor in this than anything else.
Love this. So good. Let me show my egg benedict.
Awesome. There's a chocolate fountain in there.
What's really funny is that we've been going back to fill up on the buffet for about, I think,
the last time was maybe our sixth time back there. I think starting from the third time,
people keep saying like, thank you. Like, they thought we were done and we're leaving,
but then we come back. But that's not how Asians roll. We go. We go hard. This round,
chocolate covered strawberries. It's kind of cold here. So the chocolate's going to get hard.
I'm going to have a nice crunchy shell. Not yet, but they'll get there. Of course,
I've got to have another croissant. Well, that's it. So I just went down to the beach,
laid around, take a nap. That wraps up my stay here at the El Rob Hotel. This was an
unforgettable experience. I mean, the staff is beyond courteous. I mean, it's an expensive room
and definitely for me this time, but you're definitely getting what you paid for. The staff
is beyond courteous. The amenities are incredible. Gyms, spa, the pools, the private beach. For me,
it's a once in a lifetime thing and I'm really glad I got to experience it. And as always,
thank you all so much for watching until we eat again. See you later.
