Start a new journey and I'm very excited because it's been a few weeks for you since the last one
but for me they have already passed more than 5 months so it's like starting over again because of tha
I don't know if you remember that they stole everything from me in Peru but I've been slowly rising again from my ashes
Like the Phoenix I'm back with all my cameras so I'll be bringing the whole backpack here again
"Con I hope they don't rob me this time honestly I'd be a bit upset but well let's just trust "
In which everything will be fine and nothing I'm in Mallorca because well I live in Madrid but I work
I'm not going to tell my age but I work here in Mallorca so nothing what I'm going to do now is catch a flight
And we are going to start a journey of more than two weeks through different parts of Europe it's going to be a European trip
And well I'll keep you updated but well I'll tell you in advance that the first destination I'm flying to now is
From Palma it's to Helsinki so let's go there
Well I'm finally here in Helsinki it's been a four-hour flight from Palma de Mallorca to be honest
It's a super quiet flight with super nice views from the plane the whole time so great in that aspect
And nothing else I've already arrived at my hostel which is this one here as you can see it's very simple there's the table here a small bed
I just have a bunk bed and a poster so nothing much it's called Euro Hostel that's it a hostel that's very oriented towards backpackers
Especially in shared rooms and such actually the bathroom is shared it's over there but anyway it's just one night
And nothing what I'm going to do now is I'm going to go to the center I'm going to take a walk around until it gets dark
It's now 6 o'clock so nothing I'll take a walk for a couple of hours to get here to the center it's very easy
You can come by taxi but if you want to spend 50 euros on a taxi that's an option and if not you can take the train right at the airport
It's very well signposted has a very high frequency and for 5 euros it takes you to the center of Helsinki in about half an hour
Well I haven't really told you much about my plan for this trip honestly because I've told you that I start here in Helsinki
But my plan is not to visit Finland on this trip it's that I will only spend a day on Helsinki I will dedicate the rest of today to it
And halfway through tomorrow I'll move to another place I'll keep you posted but I think it's going to be a pretty different cool trip just to enjoy
On my way to the center from the Euro Hostel where I'm staying there's the Senate Square which is a huge square right in the middle
With this sculpture that has a seagull on its head for some reason and it's a very cool square which is the most characteristic and striking part
It is the Lutheran Cathedral located at the top of the stairs the Tuomokirko Lutheran Cathedral something like that
It is a huge cathedral I don't know if it comes across on camera how big it is but it reminds me a bit of the Sacré-Cœur in Paris
But it's huge I mean I didn't know about this cathedral and I didn't expect it to be so big honestly
For now I'm saying I'm in Helsinki I'm really liking it as a city it's not very big that is it's a little city you can walk perfectly from one end to the other
And the whole central area is full as usual with bars restaurants a commercial shopping area and such I don't know but the atmosphere is really cool it's very young
So a lot of young people the weather is really nice I told you we're in April but I'm wearing a sweatshirt I've taken off my coat because it's great
Here is a very curious church I'll leave the name below which looks from the inside that is it doesn't look like a church because when you enter it seems I don't know like a small theater or something
But the truth is it's very interesting just I caught them closing so nothing keep in mind that if you want to visit they close around 7 PM
I finally came to a place called Cetor which is very central right in the central area where the central train station is
Yes it's a very interesting place because especially the decoration because it's full of tractors in the restaurant it's very like I don't know very rural
But anyway it seems good although from what I've seen the menu is huge in 20 languages which usually means it's a bit touristy and has everything
So nothing else I'm going to try deer which I've never eaten before I guess it would be more typical if you order it in the north by the plant or something but well since it's served and I've never tried it let's give it a try
I've already left dinner from this place from Cetor and well it's not bad but well it didn't really impress me I mean the deer is good I liked it more than I thought I would
And nothing else but that's all I mean the cheesecake I took for dessert is also good and then overall everything was correct the only thing is that the waitress took an extremely long time to attend to me at the end
And in the end he ended up attending to someone else which is a negative point for me and the other thing was the price meaning I ended up paying 45 euros because just the deer was 27 euros
So well in the end in these Nordic countries it's already expensive so 27 euros for the deer seems a bit too much but well since I had never tried it before I'll go ahead
But then 4 euros 40 at the end the pull tab cola and the coffee a regular coffee another 4 euros 80 somewhere it seems really expensive to me but well hey it's the most expensive place I'll be in the whole trip
So well I hope to go back to other sites where it's much cheaper
Then well that's a very positive note I really liked Helsinki what I've visited today but well tomorrow there's still half a day left so I'll show you more so I say goodbye briefly to continue with tomorrow I have to go
