We are a few day's behind on our vlogs (So sorry about that) We have had a LOT of life happen these last few weeks so we will try to get at least one video out every day until Christmas!!
We are an ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and a professional MMA fighter, and Ashley loves to share her creativity through DIY's, and other budget friendly crafts.
Together we have 6 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby (and 4th son) Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!

Chubby!
What do you mean?
Let me see, Chubby.
Oh my gosh, that's the cutest thing ever.
Did he draw?
He drew himself!
Oh my gosh, he was...
Look, you caught him in the middle of drawing himself.
He wasn't even done.
Look.
That's so cool!
Every time you give this color...
Hey, do you guys want a color right now?
Yeah, but I do kind of want to help him.
Okay.
Help him draw that.
Okay.
Oh, you finished his leg for him.
Okay, Cohen.
You colored that so well.
Not done yet.
Oh my goodness.
And I think I kind of need a gray.
Gray for where?
For that?
Yeah.
Oh, and the tree trunk.
What color is that?
Isn't that usually brown?
Okay.
I love it.
So you made like red and brown shoes?
That's cute.
I need gray.
Okay.
Because I think...
Wait.
Okay, you want gray here?
Why do you want gray here?
Because it's like a robot.
Because it's like a robot?
Mm-hmm.
Oh, okay.
Oh my gosh.
I need to go back and look and see who left this comment,
but someone said go check out the BDO, which is a local...
It's like an outlet place, an outlet shopping center.
And it's thebomb.com.
Who commented that?
Oh my gosh.
I've never been.
Did I just say bomb.com?
It was thebomb.com.
Go ahead and smack me.
We had never been.
We found boots.
We found not only boots, but really cute boots and boots I was looking for.
Stop it.
Why are you so weird?
Look at these, you guys.
Look at this.
These are...
Mommy, I'm going to miss one.
Oh, no.
Well, honey, those are way too small for you.
These are Cat and Jack, which are Target.
$13, you guys.
How cute.
And we got an extra size.
They should be in size 12.
They wear 11 1⁄2 in their shoe.
So I figure this will last them at least two years.
They'll just wear extra socks.
But now they have something to wear to school every day because they go,
they play in the snow, and they come home and their feet are freezing.
Hey.
Cohen's trying out his new snow clothes.
Oh, it looks so good.
I'd go out there, but I don't have shoes on and it's way too cold.
Ashley's mom has invited us here probably...
Well, five times.
Five times.
Yeah.
And this is actually our first time we've ever made it, though.
Yeah, because I swear there's always something.
Like, we're not usually here at this time of year.
Which is kind of messed up.
I feel like since Ashley's mom's been here every year, we should come too.
But I'm really excited to actually come and do it this time.
And a lot of people left a lot of flowers, and this is really cool.
Wait, we haven't even told them what it is.
Oh, yeah.
Okay, so.
Richard Paul Evans.
He's actually my mom's friend.
His secretary and my mom are best friends.
He's an author, by the way.
Yeah, so he wrote the book The Christmas Box.
It's called The Christmas Box, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, I want to get confused.
Or I'm getting confused because The Christmas Box House is right down the road.
But anyway, he wrote the book The Christmas Box.
It was like a bestseller.
He wrote it for his kids.
And anyway, in the movie and the book, because there's a movie about it,
which is like one of my favorite Christmas movies.
There's this angel statue.
Anyway, that's tied into the movie.
And they correlate it with anyone who's lost a child.
So all over the world, in like random places and random cemeteries,
there are these angel statues.
And they signify just anyone who's lost a child.
So it's for anyone.
It's just a cool memorial.
So on this day, everywhere around the world that has one of these,
you come at 6 o'clock and you place a rose or a flower at the base of the angel.
And they light it up.
And they light it up with these massive lights that are blinding everyone right now.
Actually, we're the only ones here because we're actually—
We're really late.
It's a lot past 6.
You can't tell.
We're pretty much always late to everything.
I'm actually really glad we came, though.
I know.
I was kind of procrastinating it because I've been so busy with work.
And I'm so tired every day.
And I was like, oh, sure, we'll go.
But I'm very grateful that we actually came.
I'm grateful, too.
That's really cool.
So if you haven't had a chance, go and watch or read The Christmas Box
because you won't regret it.
We are at the Evergreen Myers Cemetery in Ogden on Monroe Boulevard and First Street.
Today is Milo's fifth birthday.
He was born on December 12, 2013.
And honestly, I just feel like it's so strange what time will do.
And I'm just grateful for time because I feel like each birthday and each anniversary,
it gets a little bit easier.
I do, however, I don't like to plan too many things on those milestone days
because I just never know how I'll be.
Sometimes I am over the top just sad.
And you can't help but think of, you know, on, like, his death day,
I sit there and just think of, like, that day and how horrific it is.
Like, no matter how occupied I try to keep myself, I will still think about it.
And on his birthday, it's sad because, again, I can't help but think of what we'd be doing
and how we should be having a birthday party for him.
And you can't help but think of all the what ifs and that was creepy
after he was just crawling in the background.
But on another note, I am grateful for him because he has helped us so much.
Car, you found your car? Yeah.
I'm so grateful for you.
I'm grateful.
Here's my baby. I'm so grateful.
Oh, I'm so happy I have a little baby.
But anyway, we don't really have much planned today.
For the first few years, we really did, like, big service projects
where we had, like, my family involved and other friends.
And this year, I didn't really plan anything.
We're still going to try to go do a few things.
But when you are doing things for other people, you cannot help but feel happy.
And you are just, your mind is occupied.
And so I just feel like that's the perfect thing to do on those milestone days.
You know, just think of other people.
It definitely eases the pain quite a bit.
So that's what we like to do on those milestone days.
We have not had any presents around our tree this year.
I've been worried about Ezra busting into them and unwrapping them.
But the kids have been so sad that there hasn't been any presents.
And part of that was my very favorite growing up,
was looking at the presents and just wondering what was inside.
So we're going to try to put a few out, and we'll see how Ezra does.
I'm crossing my fingers because I know the boys are going to freak out
when they get home from school and see presents under the tree.
I learned this trick somewhere. I think on Facebook, maybe.
Stick them in a box and let them color for days.
Huh?
Just have to make sure they don't get out and start coloring on the walls.
Do you want another one?
Do you have two?
One for each hand.
I would give him crayons, but he would eat them.
So, pens it is.
It snowed, huh? I'm so happy you're home from school.
Oh, you want to see what Chippy brought us? Wait.
Wait, come look this way real fast.
What's under the tree?
No, but that's cool, huh?
Those are Christmas presents.
Read the name.
It looks like it, huh?
Let's see. It's from Rudolph.
That's cool.
What is that?
Okay, let's see what Chippy brought.
What is that?
It looks like this is a craft to do today.
That's cool.
You use your fingers, I think.
Okay, stick your finger in.
Okay, we just realized.
That says elf.
Cohen did Simon's.
And Simon's doing Cohen's.
Do you know what we could do?
I could cut your name off and put your name up here.
How about that?
Is that good?
They are so mad.
And Simon's is looking so cute.
Even though it says Cohen.
Okay, red.
No, red. Yeah.
Oh, cute.
Down. Good job.
Wipe.
Wipe and go.
I'm gonna do a rainbow one this time.
Okay, hold on.
You gotta barely touch all of them.
Is that okay if we do that?
Okay, so barely touch.
Green and orange.
And purple and red.
And pink and blue.
And wait, no. Let's go back.
Pink and red and purple and orange and green.
Okay, now put it right there.
Wow.
That's so nice.
How are you enjoying your Easter, huh?
You having a good day?
You look cute.
As always.
