This place is pretty cool. Don't try this at home kids.
It's just a light. That's pretty cool though. I don't know how new this is. This is an all-you-can-eat conveyor belt buffet.
Look how giant it is. It's like a gothic castle.
So apparently they got all sorts of... they got Wagyu for dinner. Wait, what kind of Wagyu?
American Wagyu probably. Yeah, still. And then for the... how much more is dinner?
Five more dollars?
It's for Wagyu and for Hal's special steak and galbi?
Yeah, I'm coming for dinner. Sorry about that. I'm coming back. Thank you. Thank you.
Okay, that's my bad. I should have done my research. But dinner menu looks so much better.
For an extra five dollars, I'll come back for the Wagyu.
All right, since that rotating hotpot buffet is gonna be for dinner,
I'm gonna head to my favorite... one of my favorite restaurants in the country, really.
I'm so excited to showcase this place, Boiling Beijing.
Love coming here for the food and also to look at these like awesome hotpot pots.
I'm always so excited to come here. First of all, got the lamb.
It's something I always get when I come here. Also, owner just came by, brought over this dish.
Look at this. Crispy shrimp fried completely. The shell, tail, head, everything's edible.
Oh, so good. You guys, you guys gotta try this when you come here.
Wow, it's like eating the most tender of shrimp, crunchiest of shrimp crackers.
Sweet, a little spicy. Wow, that crunch, especially the tail.
Oh, it's ridiculous. The place just gets better and better every single time I come back.
Lamb is always splendid. Such a good saucy rice dish.
Also, I got this. This is hand-torn cabbage. I got a recipe for this.
I'll put it in the link below. But this is just one head of cabbage,
cooked with pork and chilies and vinegar.
Also, what I love about this place, the owner, I didn't even know who's the owner.
He was waiting on tables. Now he's in the kitchen cooking.
This jack of all trades, such a nice guy.
You gotta try this meat pancake.
Anyway, such a nice, humble guy. Does everything in the restaurant.
But he's still so innovative coming up with amazing dishes like this. This is so good.
And before the duck gets here, a big thank you and shout out to Raycon Earbuds for sponsoring this video
and continuing to support this channel.
I've been talking about Raycon Earbuds, I think, for almost two years now.
And I've been using this every single day for just as long.
I told you guys, before I got these, I had a pair that cost more than twice as much
and it would just fall out of my ear all the time because my ears are just really strangely shaped.
But these ones, first of all, beautiful color. Love the improved rubber oil look and feel.
Most importantly, doesn't fall out because of the optimized gel tips for perfecting your fit.
And like I said, I use these every single day when I'm just walking around,
especially at the gym, when I'm running in the park.
And I charge them, I think, maybe once a week because these, the everyday earbuds,
eight hours of playtime, 32 hours of charge.
It's more compact, the bass is better, and it pairs seamlessly.
And since I started using these, I got them for my family, got them for friends' birthdays.
They make a really good gift.
Also, built-in mic so you can take calls with a push of a button.
And if you don't know, Raycon is co-founded by Ray J.
And they were trying to provide innovative earbud designs that don't break the price.
And that's exactly what this is.
Raycon started about half the price of other premium audio brands, and they sound just as good.
So if you are looking for a new pair of earbuds, click on the link down below.
Or just go to buyraycon.com slash Mikey Chan.
And you'll get exclusive deals up to 20% off your Raycon order.
Plus, you can try these out for 45 days.
Don't like it for whatever reason? Get your money back.
The stuff you see on top, this chrysanthemum on top, you're here for the skin.
So the skin cut ultra crisp.
They scrape the fat off so it's crunchy and oily, but not overly greasy.
Telltale sign of a good Peking duck place.
You gotta have thin crepe pancakes.
And then what you do with the skin, you just dip the skin in a little bit of sugar.
Duck skin just slowly melts all over your tongue with the most subtle, subtle crunch.
Oh, this is beyond good.
Crepe.
Duck.
Piece of skin.
More duck.
Little bit of hoisin sauce.
Scallions.
And a tiny bit of sugar.
Wrap it up like a blanket.
So awesome.
Oh, so good.
Perfect chew from the pancake.
Light melt-in-your-mouth crunch from the duck skin and the meat scrumptious.
And this is not the end of the duck yet.
There's another course coming.
So a really legitimate good Peking duck place is to ask you what you want to do with the bones of the duck.
And they can either put it into soup or they stir-fry for you in different kind of spices.
I chose cumin and chilies.
This is sometimes better than the duck itself.
This is Ray. He's the owner of this place.
You cook too?
Sometimes, sometimes.
It's really good.
I mean, I'm glad to see you're doing well, but it's really good food.
Thank you so much.
Oh, it smells so good.
It's only been an hour since the Beijing, the Peking duck stuff.
Already getting a little hungry.
This place looks really, really good.
This is Tang Shui, which means sugar water.
Look at this, pomegranate crema tea.
This is so good.
This one, the peach oolong.
This is good too, but it's not as good as pomegranate.
Pomegranate is delicious.
Is that the best cheese foam you've ever had?
A little information about Christine.
She's owned three coffee slash bubble tea shops.
So she knows her tea.
She knows her cheese foam.
Whoa, what is this?
I thought this was like a pudding, but it's all watery.
I like it.
What's wrong with it?
It's delicious.
The coconut pudding is nice.
It's very rosy and peachy.
I like it.
It's not overly sweet.
It's not overly milky or anything.
Back at the hot pot place again for dinner.
Are you even hungry?
Yes.
Really?
All right.
All you can eat rotating hot pot slash barbecue.
Part two.
Hot pot and barbecue, please.
Spicy house in a Thai pot.
Yes, please.
Inga's Prime.
American Wagyu.
Okay.
Wait, does the meat include the barbecue too or no?
Four hot pot meat and four barbecue meat.
Brisket.
And some beef toro.
So what's cool about this place?
Rotating hot pot and barbecue.
So again, this place is massive.
You come in, you choose your soup base, you choose your meats.
There's tons of stuff.
Thanks, man.
Anyway, a lot of stuff flowing by.
Way more than the first rotating hot pot I've been to.
So you got tripe, fish cake, dumplings, tons of veggies.
Oh, I just saw a pissing shrimp roll by.
Those things are expensive.
Oh, that's spicy.
Wow, really spicy.
Oh, they ain't joking around.
The spicy broth.
Tom Yum's delicious.
I'll drink that as a soup right now.
But the spicy broth, it's really spicy.
I don't know if there's much other flavor to it, but I would recommend the Tom Yum.
Let's try the Wagyu.
Again, misunderstanding on my part, it's $5 a plate if this is what you want to get.
It's tender and delicious.
That Tom Yum broth's where it's at.
That's where you want to be dipping all your meat.
I think the Wagyu is good, but one plate's enough for me.
I mean, a Tom Yum broth, you really don't even need extra dipping sauce.
Grab some tripe.
Whoa, razor clams?
I mean, baby razor clams, but still.
Here we go.
This is the pissing shrimp.
This stuff is expensive.
Clams to give your soup some extra flavor.
I asked for the Tom Yum for myself as well.
What's your name?
Tin.
Tin, you're just gonna touch this.
You're gonna just pick it up.
You get used to it.
I mean, I don't know how you get used to burning pain, but...
Oh, it's not hot.
Can I touch it?
Let me touch it, let me touch it.
That's pretty hot.
I think you guys are losing feeling in your fingers.
Tom Yum's the way to go here.
I think we're ready for some barbecue.
Oh, that house steak is good.
Get that.
Nice and juicy and tender.
So far, all the Korean barbecue meat is awesome.
I would recommend putting some of that brisket on the grill,
char it up a little bit.
I think fatty brisket on a grill,
better than in a hot pot.
And what I really like about the rotating hot pot,
is just look over, like, whatever strikes your fancy,
whatever, like, you're feeling,
whatever you're craving,
just reach over and grab it.
Pissing shrimp.
Well, obviously not gonna taste as good as it would have been if it was fresh.
Gotta be really careful with these fish eggs.
That kinda look like a, like a Hershey's Kiss.
This one squirted in my face,
almost burned half my face off.
Because, there's stuff inside.
And you see all the liquid that's inside as well,
so there's fish eggs inside,
and tons of soup.
Now, if you ever ran into an angry soup dumpling,
you'll know what you're in for,
but this is much, much worse.
Little clam in that beautiful Tom Yum soup.
At times, this experience does get a little overwhelming,
because you're like, what do I want now?
Do I want hot pot or barbecue?
Do I want meat? Do I want seafood?
Do I want some vegetables?
Best thing to do in that scenario,
just keep shoving things into your face.
Finger ribs.
Little tough.
I say stick with the steak and garbie.
Another good thing about having a barbecue with your hot pot is,
barbecue is just the best way to cook your thin slices of meat.
So if you're really, really full,
but still want to stuff that last serving of meat in you,
grill it.
Alright, we're at the final stretch.
This broth with some noodles is gonna be amazing.
Oh gosh, concentrated.
Good beef noodles.
I would have boiled an egg,
but I don't have enough broth left for that.
I'm happy with this makeshift beef noodle soup though.
Creme brulee latte.
So it's a creme brulee on top.
Ooh, you eat it like a creme brulee.
Oh my gosh.
Wow.
Mmm.
That's delicious.
That is creamy.
It's toasty.
Wow.
Alright, it's about eight o'clock.
It says we ate a whole duck,
lamb ribs,
beef pancakes,
shrimp,
two bubble teas,
and an all-you-can-eat rotating hot pot buffet,
slash creme barbecue.
Time to go back to the hotel and hit the gym for the next eight hours.
So this Airbnb is really, really cool.
At night, you can sit outside under the stars,
light a heating lamp to keep warm,
and they just built us a bonfire.
So pretty.
Look at that.
There's our bonfire.
With marshmallows.
Ooh, get marshmallows.
We can make s'mores.
Whoa, there's a whole s'mores kit.
We can be eating so many s'mores.
I thought I would probably just eat one,
because the stuff is not the best.
Not the best for you.
I haven't done this since I was a kid.
The key is to put the marshmallow on top of the fire
so it doesn't burn the outside,
but it completely melts the inside.
That is an undercooked s'more.
The thing about s'mores is if you undercook them,
it's really not going to hurt you.
I might have just roasted the perfect marshmallow.
Not burned at all.
Lightly burned.
So melty.
Oh yeah.
That was it right there.
This is so nice.
That's what I miss about California.
It's like November.
All you need is a light jacket.
All right, a few more s'mores.
I think I'm going to call it a night.
See you later.
I feel back to before I ever had any.
Luckily, it doesn't snow here.
I can't imagine ever if San Francisco has an ice storm
or freezing rain.
This would be a chaotic place.
Crispy giant pieces of fried fish.
That is a nice crunch.
Fresh garlic and parsley.
Tender, crunchy fish.
Got a clam chowder bread bowl as well.
It needs hot sauce.
Enough to make it change colors.
I've been to this place once, like, maybe a decade ago.
Back when I was doing comic book stuff.
I remember this place.
And it's having just amazing fish and chips.
Outside is so unbelievably crunchy.
It's not overly greasy.
Inside is just so tender and sweet.
I mean, listen to that.
This is so good.
Add a little vinegar to it.
Makes it even better.
I don't care what people say.
For me, every time I come to San Francisco,
I love going to Fisherman's Wharf.
I love getting a clam chowder sourdough bowl.
I don't know what it is.
Unless I do this, I just feel like I haven't truly been to San Francisco.
Maybe it's the same thing.
As a New Yorker, I hate going to Times Square.
But the food heart wants what it wants.
And I want this.
So I was here in San Francisco for about four days.
A lot of videos are gonna show up on the Strictly Filming channel.
Got about 10 minutes to down a bubble tea before my flight.
Had to come back here and get another pomegranate bubble tea at this place.
Still the best drink I got on this trip.
Also, look at this.
A persimmon mochi coconut pudding.
This is awesome.
This is a really good place.
The mochi is chewy.
More like a persimmon puree.
Again, not too sweet.
Let's go catch the flight.
One good thing about St. Louis,
I'm reliving all my previous food experiences.
I haven't been here in 20 years.
Steak burger and super thin fries.
I remember coming here almost every single weekend
because it's one of the few places that would be open 24 hours a day in Quincy, Illinois.
It's not a bad burger.
It's like 1 a.m.
My motor functions have dramatically declined.
Honey candy shake.
I always did remember that their shakes were amazing.
Burgers good.
Definitely prefer the shake more.
Never would I think a cotton candy shake would taste so good.
And of course, as always, all the places I went to
are listed down below for you guys.
Thank you all so much for following along.
Until we eat again, see you later.
