We are a FUN and ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley is a network-marketing professional and speaker in her company.
Together we have 5 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!
Ezra
What?
What are you doing?
This is the last place I thought you were.
I heard your little coo.
How did you get in here?
And what are you doing?
Yeah?
You are so funny.
I don't think we told you guys.
Ezra look at me.
Let me see your little bruise.
See that bruise on his forehead?
He face planted on the cement.
It was the saddest thing ever.
But it's looking a lot better now.
Oh that's so funny.
You're so cute and you're so cute.
Is that Pickle?
Yeah does Pickle want to go outside?
Do you want to go outside?
Do you want to go outside? I know you want to go outside.
Pickle do you want to go outside?
Okay.
Want to go outside?
Oh my goodness.
Is this how we wake up
the twins every morning?
Yeah.
They get crawled all over by Ezra.
Huh?
Isn't his morning hair crazy?
He's the craziest.
Do you hear Pickle?
He's done going potty.
Give Simon a hug.
Yep that one's Simon.
Yeah.
Give him a hug.
You're so sweet.
You know when it starts to get really hot outside
you got to turn your air on and then the inside is freezing.
I swear I spend more time under a blanket
in the summer than I do in the actual
winter because the house is always so hot.
Okay well I kind of wanted to address
something because we had a lot of people write us
and ask us
are you guys okay?
So for those who don't know
we deleted our social media accounts yesterday.
We still have them up
we just will no longer
be posting on them.
So where this decision kind of came from
it wasn't out of nowhere.
So for about the past year
we've been contemplating doing this and honestly for the past
couple of months we would delete
our app for a good week
or so and then we felt like
obligated to make posts which is so stupid.
I don't know what it is but I just feel like
it is an addicting thing.
And the more research I've done on it
I've seen a lot of
negative sides to it.
Things that I wasn't really aware of. For instance
I don't think we realize the amount
of time we spend on it a day.
Something that I've learned is
whatever amount of time you think you spend on it
you spend double
the amount. And the average person spends at least
five hours a day
scrolling.
So just think about that. Like five hours
of your time scrolling
through other people's lives.
Whether you want to believe it or not you are comparing
yourself to other
people. And I just, I don't know
I just feel like it's negative.
I've never once in my life
gotten on social media, scrolled
and then once I was done
scrolling felt uplifted
or positive. Yes there are
tons of people that are influential
that are positive that are always
sharing positive messages.
But that's not what we, that's not the
only thing we see. We might read that
post and then the next thing we see might
really discourage us. And we might not
even realize that it's happening. So
something that I would challenge you guys to do
is sometime in the next month
delete your apps for just
seven days and see what happens. See how you
live your life. See if
it's really hard for you. Because if it is
then you might
be addicted to it. So for now
we are just going to be keeping you guys
updated on our vlogs. But
other than that we're not going to be like posting
we're not going to be doing insta stories
and snapchats
or I don't think we ever really did that anyway. But
this will be really the only
place to stay up to date.
So
I just want to let you guys know that. Know there
is absolutely nothing wrong. In fact
I feel like all we've been trying to do
recently is really focus
on living in the moment and being
present in the moment. And I feel like
social media was just a way to distract us
from those things and what's really important.
So that is why we made our
decision to get off of it.
We don't know if it's forever but
it is for a long period
of time at least. So
yeah. If you guys want to stay
updated with us just hit that
subscribe button so you guys can be notified
when we upload videos. So yeah
that's basically all I had to say about that.
So I'm dropping the boys off at grandma's
school. And where did we have to park you guys?
Way down.
Way down the street huh?
Why?
Because there's tractors.
Cause there's tractors out front.
Should we show them?
Where are the tractors?
Where are they?
Look at that.
Right in front.
A lot of tractors.
Now I am on my way to
my friend's house. She just moved into
a new apartment or townhouse.
I don't know. I haven't been there yet so
I'm on my way there now and I'm just gonna help
her unpack and
put stuff away. So I'm gonna be doing that
while the boys are at school.
Okay I just got back from my friend's house.
I think I'm gonna go back in a little bit.
But me and Thomas
never get into series.
Like never. We never just like sit down and watch
TV. Well we made
the mistake. What are you doing?
Never before. Okay listen.
We made the mistake of starting
Timeless. Okay. Was it on
Hulu? We have Netflix and Hulu.
So we're
watching it. We're getting like super into
it. It's like our treat at
the end of the day when we work hard.
We get to watch Timeless.
And there was like
I don't know about 30 episodes
I would guess like between the two seasons.
Okay anyway. Hold on.
Ezra's having a fit because he wants to go outside.
He's so mad.
Okay. So
we watched the
latest episode cause we had like got
all the way caught up to like
now we had to wait for them
to be uploaded right? While we get to
the. Caught up to real time. Yeah we get caught
up to real time. We're watching the episode
and we're like gosh this one's like longer than normal.
And then we
realized. Ash is like they're all this long in like
an hour and 30 minutes. They are not. Then we
realized that was the
freaking last episode.
Ever. There's only nine. There's only nine
episodes. Like they may never do another one. And I was
so mad. Have you ever like eaten a
like you're eating food and then
you eat the last bite and you didn't realize it was
the last bite? And it sucks like
you need to anticipate that last
bite right? I've been there with the Snickers.
You never give away the last bite
of the Snickers. It's the best part.
Before this just so you know
first season or first yeah
first season had like 27 episodes.
Yeah so we were like. Second season had like 8 or 9.
Yeah I was like oh we're just like getting started
in the second season. And then to find
out it was the last episode
I mean there are no words
for how mad I am. Would you give away
the last bite of an ice cream stick? Well it's not even
giving it away. It's
eating it without realizing it was the
last bite. You know and then you're like
oh my gosh it's gone. You would have like
enjoyed it longer or better
I don't know. Do you know what I'm saying?
It would have been more better.
So if you haven't
started watching that
I would watch it because it was so good.
Go into it knowing it's going to abruptly
end and you're going to be sad about it.
Now go that way. Now go
left. Okay.
Well you have to look and see.
Okay. Well show her how to fly.
What do I do with the tree?
You have to break the tree.
Then you connect the tree.
How do I do that?
Teach me.
Oh my gosh.
Well what button were you pushing?
I was pushing this.
Mom's playing games with you?
Yeah I learned her.
You learned her.
No he's
jumping around. Is that a sheep?
You guys eat sheep?
I'm going to get
you now.
I'm going to get you now.
Oh no.
You fell down.
Down. Surrender.
Hi.
What are you going to get me?
Don't get me.
This is how we wear them out
every night.
We chase them around the island.
Where are you going?
Oh baby.
You okay?
Don't get me.
Why are you doing that?
You fall on purpose.
Look at those chunky legs.
It seems like we start
our day and end our day
the same way.
This is how we
start our day. This is how we end it.
Hanging out in the twins room.
Say goodnight.
Say bye.
Bye.
Bye Ezra.
See you later.
