In this video I try scuba diving for the first time to look for those deeper gold nuggets! I quickly learned that the deeper I went, the more color was lost and the darker it got. Please Subscribe to see how far I have come since this adventure! Thank you so much!!

Good morning or good afternoon everybody.
Welcome to the channel if you are new to it.
My name is Paulie, your special host.
Today I am very excited because today I finally get to see what it is like to scuba dive in
my favorite river.
Hopefully to find some of that deeper gold, or if we're lucky, some other treasures.
Now the entire reason I decided to become a certified scuba diver wasn't only to find
treasures and swim with the fishies, but also to contribute in doing my part cleaning
the river because it's actually quite sad how much garbage is around.
But anyways, let's get to it.
I was lucky enough to find a little pocket of gold on my very first attempt at this.
When you are underwater, it is very hard not to notice the gold.
I had to take this opportunity to explore and see if maybe I could find something a
bit deeper.
I brought my brother Marshall along for safety.
I found a spot about 12 feet deep and noticed just how freaking hard some of these rocks
were to move.
In fact, I couldn't get any of these to budge.
But that could also be because I don't have the right tools for this job.
I've decided I'm going to have to come back to this one.
I moved a bit shallower and noticed a spot where it was just light sand and rocks I could
actually move.
Here I am trying to be careful that I do not blow away any fine gold, a good indicator
that there could be bigger gold nearby.
Or even more coins.
That is not a piece of gold.
But this is.
And, as you can see, I can at least break these ones.
And just like that, another piece to take home.
At this point, I was not going to stop until I opened up all the cracks.
No these aren't nuggets, but it's sure enough to make you want more.
A few minutes later, I decided to quickly blow over some of the little cracks before
moving on to the next spot.
And here is why you never ignore the little cracks.
I was quite pleased this piece had some thickness to it.
Okay, having a bit of a break.
That is actually so cool.
I just, I wish I could explain that feeling of being able to breathe underwater and work
anywhere you want.
It is really cold.
It's a lot colder than when it was even a couple weeks ago.
This is how we're doing so far.
That is actually really good.
I'm very happy with that.
Look at this one thick picker.
It's probably going to be .3.
Ah, what is that?
It's a spider.
Um, I found this, an earring, and it, I don't think it's been in the water for too long
because, uh, uh, did I just, nah, dang it.
Yeah, I dropped my picker.
I'm actually surprised I found that.
But yeah, this hasn't been in the water for too long because it's not rusty, unless there's
a reason for that.
I found 10 cents and a penny that I lost, but I'd rather lose a penny than this.
So anyways, I don't have much air left, but I am going to go downstream to where I found,
uh, good luck last time underwater.
The only difference, I can breathe under there, so I can hopefully go a bit deeper and again
find some more bigger gold.
But I am happy with that anyway.
All right, see you in a second.
So this is the other location.
This is where Dan Hurd and I were at on my last video.
It's probably about eight feet deep from here, doesn't really look like it, but it is a lot
shallower than where I just was, and hopefully even more gold.
Very excited, just very tired.
Let's get back in.
I always enjoy coming back to this spot because there are just unlimited places you could look.
The problem again, well, my lack of tools.
Now, if I expect to get into this one, I think I'm going to have to come back with my bar.
Now I am out of air.
It's time to call it a day.
Well, that was short-lived.
I am officially out of air.
I didn't find anything over here, which is kind of strange.
Found gold here last time, but nothing over there.
Today, gold over there, nothing over here.
That's all right.
We're not going home with nothing, so that's awesome.
Now, to carry all this gear back out of here, back into the car, get home and weigh the gold.
I will see you in a momento.
Okay, so one thing I did notice about prospecting deeper underwater is that the gold was actually
easier to find, and I'm assuming because nobody's ever down there, and two, it's hard to keep
the camera steady underwater.
I know.
So here is the take-home.
I was hoping to find a big nugget, but this is still good.
Perhaps this thick piece here counts as a small nugget.
Let's see the damage.
0.28, all right, 0.06, 0.11, and I guess we can weigh this little guy, 0.04, 0.48.
No, half a gram of gold is not going to pay for anything special, I know, but again, this
is not why I do this.
Also, on another note, I've came to the point where it's very difficult to respond to every
single comment, not only on YouTube, but this includes Facebook, Instagram, the forums I'm
in, Snapchat, and YouTube, and even text messages.
If I don't respond, just know that I still at least read them, and it's nothing personal.
And if I could, I'd hug each and every one of you for your support.
Now, if you enjoyed this episode, please let me know by leaving a like, comment, or even
subscribe.
Thank you all for the support, thank you for watching, and until next time, I will see
you later.
