how much i spend cafe hopping in seoul 🧁💸 (hongdae cafes, cupcakes, gnocchi, tea set)

they have so many nice Instagram aesthetic cafes. The social distancing level in Korea hasn't gone down yet from 2.5 but they lowered the restriction level so now people are able to go to gyms now and people can sit inside cafes. So everybody is just enjoying their time at cafes, posting pictures on Instagram that they're at the gym again. but thankfully I got here earlier so I was able to just pick it up. It's almost 1.30 and I haven't eaten yet so I think I'm just gonna look for a place to eat around here. They gave me a little lemon candy from Positano. Oh I am so full and I'm kind of debating what I want to do. I rarely come to the Mangwon-dong area so I'm just kind of feeling like do I just want to go to different cafes today because you know if I'm here just why not. So maybe I'll just go to another cafe right now. I'm gonna cross the street. Yeah I think I'll just head to another place right now. Let me just look up on Instagram what cafes are good. This whole street is called Bangridangil which has all the popular Instagram cafes and here this was actually where Jjaponggi was. I came here all the time to take a Instagram picture. I'll put the photos on the screen right here but it was a pink vending machine cafe but now that's gone and now this is here. And I saw this on Instagram so many times but I didn't know they replaced Jjaponggi though. But it's so pretty. Look at all the lights and the colors. They give you a welcome tea. This tea place is so quiet. I feel like I can't talk anymore. My tea set just came. This is the nomad tea set and this one has flowers so when you put it in here this will catch the flower leaves. I shared my seat earlier so the owner gave me a little dessert. It's so cute. Cheers. This is a very bitter tea. I don't know what this is. I think this is duck or something. These look like wasabi peas but let me just try and see what it is. Oh these are like little green tea like matcha chocolate balls or something. I have no idea what this is but it's like super hard and this fork is just not getting in. Oh this is a um what do you call it? I forgot what it's called but it's really good. It's been so long since I've been cafe hopping and I didn't even intend to today. It just kind of happened but I'm at my third cafe right now. One of my Q&A questions somebody asked how much it costs to cafe hop in Seoul. I paid less than 20 per cafe. I'm just gonna finish up here and I'm gonna head to another stationery store and then head home. I just got off the bus and I feel a little carsick. The bus driver was super rough in his driving. Now I'm gonna go back to Hongdae station area. I have to go pick up a necklace and then just head home. Wow it's been so long since I've been on the main street of the Hongdae area where all the college students are. All the shopping, street food. This place is just so far from my house that I rarely come. Alright time to go home. Wow it's been such a long day. It's been super dreary and dark today.
