Hong Kong Disneyland Tour & The Custom Tailored Suit

Today I'm going to the happiest place on earth or at least in Hong Kong. We're going to Disneyland This train is off the rails. I see what I did there. It's got like like statues of Donald and Snow White. If this train wasn't going to Disney, it just might be used to lure children into a crazy den of kidnappers I Haven't been to Disney since I was eight I went to my parents It wasn't that much fun because Asian parents all they want to do is make you pose in front of different places where different Disney characters and take a bunch of photos. I wanted to drive a little car. They wouldn't let me. They said it was too dangerous So we ended up doing the Ferris wheel. Let's go have a magical time Look vegetarian Mickey I don't know if it's just me but grown men and cartoon characters She was really kind of freaking out. If you've been to Times Square in New York City, you'll know what I'm talking about That's the smallest version of Cinderella's castle I have ever seen That's what Cinderella's castle would look like if it wasn't as a magical land But was instead in like New York City or San Francisco and it would be so expensive to live in Cinderella will literally have to rent out most of the rooms to keep up her mortgage. I think I want some Toy Story ride I'm blasting zergs This might get dangerous I Just hope Buzz Lightyear saved the galaxy now, he's trying to sell me all this crap Wow, what a classic It's a small world after all ride a Bit slow, but you gotta do it I forgot how incredibly creepy Small world ride is if you think about it if you wrote this in the dark right after watching like Chucky This is a nightmare inducing experience. Does that doll not look evil to you? just got done with a small world ride and It is Incredibly creepy. I'm not trying to be like all, you know negative on Disney or whatever, but that ride I kid you not Do you see some of that footage some of those dolls faces especially without different shadows hitting them. This is Hong Kong So one moment it was sunny and now it's thunderstorming and I'm gonna get into one of these Little railway cars that house and it's a small world ride should get together and have a creepy, baby. I'm a mystic manor I'm hoping this is something like the haunted mansion because I remember that and I loved it So that wasn't scary at all It's a fun ride But the scariest thing in there was that old British guy was able to speak Chinese much better than I could nighttime waiting for fireworks to happen It is so humid today. I'm like, I'm like walking. I feel like I'm walking a sweat bath right now Mouth happy Fortunate mouth happy fortunate Anyway, fortunate mouth basically and in English Holy book. I want to say that very carefully Okay, that's what the name of the restaurant is and it's really famous Institution here in Hong Kong. I think it's more modern more East West fusion Cuisine and There's a few things on here that we're gonna try today that they're known for. So today we are going to do roast goose We're gonna do Char siu, the roast pork, which is supposed to be a can't-miss item here and we're gonna do Roast Wagyu short ribs. This is the fried cauliflower Brussels sprouts with bacon jam maple bacon jam Typically, I don't like cauliflower because it's part of the broccoli family, but this sauce is great, especially this maple jam. Holy cow Spicy sweet this jam is fantastic. These are the roast pork that they say you've got to try here Wow That is fatty sweet and absolutely perfect. The meat is ultra tender. I love all the juice that's on the bottom here Wow, this is good. The roast goose is here with some plum sauce. The skin is actually really soggy They definitely don't put a lot of emphasis on the skin itself in terms of like crisping it up, but nice and juicy This is the New Zealand clam Noodles, I see a lot of seaweed on top Typical noodles or some little clams in here Noodles are very al dente Nice clams are so fresh. Wow, nice spices. It's not spicy. It's just it's like really nice it's like it's like eating a bowl of Sophisticated ramen. Wow. These are the Wagyu short ribs that we got and This is insane. Right away, the crust is super crispy. Never seen that before super crispy and to separate it, I think like here's some of the crispier ends Wow Wow, that is delicious. Let's try a piece of what looks like the really tender meat over here That is delicious Crispy on the outside, it literally falls apart That's how tender this thing is. It falls apart. Oh Wow This is amazing. It's one of the best things I ever had meat-wise In my life. Definitely the best short rib I've ever had hands down So crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It's so insane Man, it's good. A couple of things I'll say about the place besides this wacky name I had to kind of take a different approach because I was actually approached by the people in the restaurant and said I can't film there so I had to kind of Go switch to another camera and do a kind of a behind the camera thing. This place is really westernized You go inside it feels like I'm not in Hong Kong because most of the people Including waitstaff are not Asian and secondly that roast That Wagyu short rib I had Literally one of the best things I have ever tasted in my life. I'd never had like it was short rib It's more like steak, right? I think it was medium medium rare and I never had something where it's crispy on the outside and Tender melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. Usually if you look at a steak, it's usually just a salt and pepper some butter This seasoning was insane. It's such a awesome flavor profile with along with the jalapeno Jalapeno glaze they had on the side. So if you guys do come here definitely get that. It's not cheap I think that one short rib was $4.50 So that's around $80 US but I mean if you're splitting it among a bunch of people then it's worth it Definitely give that a try You guys think Beautiful Make it fresh. Yeah It's not too tight no Oh, oh no way What? I'll have to buy a pocket square. Yeah, now I've got your size.
