[ Quarter - Final ] USA vs France 2-1 All Goals & Highlights | 2019 WWC

🎵 🎵 SISI PUN 🎵 Live at Parc de France, sold out for months for this one. USA and France in the second quarterfinal of this Women's World Cup. The US, the number one ranked team in the world. Only one loss in their last 42 matches. It came against the French, and it came in January of this... Repeat. We'll see you next at halftime. I think she's someone the US will look to put under. Up top, this is a dynamic trio. Diani on that right-hand side has caused a ton of problems, despite not scoring. But Govan, centrally, is all about... ...game in all the quarterfinal games. The captains of their national teams are speaking out... ...and then Amadine Henry, Katarina Monzel from Ukraine... ...space, and I think that's where this French team is the most vulnerable. Up top, we're gonna see it meet. Morgan Rapinoe can get going. They didn't even have a strong night against Spain. And look, they're... ...first, so it's been a little bit less bumpy for them. It's their fifth game, but in 22 nights. Megan Rapinoe's been there before. Same with a lot of these players on this... ...underway in Paris. Immediate long ball from... Here's Rapinoe, still with it. Topogi in ahead. Shot taken to stop by Bouadi. An immediate tester from Julie Ertz. And a really good look from the US with Megan Rapinoe sliding inside. You can drive across that midfield line and create space... ...and Ertz gets on the end of this one. Comfortable in the end for... Good on the dribble. Slowed down, ball slips through. Carried by Dahlkemper. French fans wanted something called. Quickly, Morgan was held and then went down. Referee's got it. You just don't hear the whistle and a yellow card to Mbappé early. That's big on the center back. Otherwise, Alex Morgan is in there. Here's one of the targets, Ertz. Morgan, another. Off of this free kick from Megan Rapinoe. Who scored both US goals in a round of 16 win over Spain. Both on penalty kicks. Rapinoe sends it in low. Goal! US! Well, the US continues to strike early in this tournament. They get all that traffic in front of Bouadi. And she can't see... Throw in. Morgan. It was Morgan who drew that foul that led to the free kick for Megan Rapinoe. That became the first goal of the game. She'll drive it. Back post area. Too far. Closest player to her is Rose LaBelle. It's a goal kick for Bouadi. To Marjorie. Into the box it comes. Header. Loose to Mair. Mair stops it. A good look again. It's Marjorie on that left side getting free. Megan slipping it through to Morgan in the box. Low shot. Not spilled by Bouadi. End to end here. As it's Rapinoe then that finds Alex Morgan to her feet. A couple more will let go that sure look like fouls. As that was a foul on Toronto. Rapinoe taking her time at the moment to get back up. And that's the challenge that came in. That's a long Rapinoe. No ball. Through. Battles in Bakhbati. They're both down. Referee still let them play. It's gonna... Leads it. Go back. Quick turn. Especially in that turn. Here's a lead pass. From Morgan to Rapinoe. Bouadi's out. Got a piece of the ball. Can't use her hands there. So clears it out to safety. Quick toss in. Mulas. She went down. No call. Comes back out. Spot for the clearance. Shot by Boussaglia. Blocked. Another shot on Reid. Wide of Nair. And already Dunn's had her hands full with Diani on this... Great job on the back heel. Rapinoe sending it in but it's too close to Bouadi. Holes. Diani held up a runner beyond side. The cross. Headed away but the offside flag is up now. Heath. 1v1. Trying to cut inside. Moved a goal kick. Marjorie's had some poor giveaways. This one led to the U.S. coming on the attack and she does well. Come back for it. Good pressure there. And Heath good job to disrupt France. She'll drive it across. Header is over. And this is Nair wide as well. And it looks like France is trying to drive this ball out away from the zoners of the United States. This one meets Henri right at that penalty spot. Head of LeBel. In the U.S. You can read the lips. I didn't touch her. Twice. Said Alex Morgan. We'll get a look at it here. High studs. France are back on it. Marjorie stood up there. That could be bad news for O'Hara. The referee's not going to the pocket. Just mentioning the yellow card she already has. Marjorie fakes. It's floated up. But too close to Nair. Runs made. Into the box. One header. Wide of Bouhadi. France have a goal kick. Much better delivery from the U.S. But will try to close her down. Crystal gone. Tags that one. But it's right at Bouhadi. Two minutes added on. In for Diani. But it's going to go wide. Goal kick for Nair. Diani just holding off a run and then sneaks in at the last second in between Dunne and Sauerbrunn. Left it. Muis has Rapido. Shot taken. Into this first half for France. Would have been down 2-0. Going into the locker room at halftime. But instead on a goal. U.S. is looking strong, especially in the midfield. Megan Rapinoe with the game's only goal. We'll see on the postgame show once again. JP Deli. Thank you, Rob. Second half underway. Chance here. Muis. Big save by Bouhadi. Heath. And a foot save by Bouhadi. What a terrific start. If you thought the first half started off well for the U.S. Muis in a nice pocket of space there. Gets the quick release. Then Bouhadi gets down to it. And has to get up so quickly because. Heath will drive it. It bounces. Good shot blocked. So Lavelle didn't have the opportunity. Now it's cleared. Out by France. Talk about being on the front foot though for the U.S. Well, they can't. Near post is where she's going. It's deflected in front. And now cleared. Away from Sauerbrunn. Cover there from Dahl. Kemper. Cutting outside. Tackle away. Good effort from Mertz. The midfield for the. They give it away. Henry fires. It's deflected wide. It's a corner kick with the U.S. That's the first time they've looked that shaky defensively. And it's been some pressure. Tine steps up. Drives it to the middle of the header. It's high and wide. Melissaner. Melissaner had the chance. And they keep driving it out towards that penalty spot. Majerie's coming on the left. Melissaner cutting. Deflected out by O'Hara. Corner. France. Their fourth. It's back out. Back post area. Nair backpedals. It's loose. Full of some air. Side netting. The U.S. has been pinned. Diani. It's blocked. And it falls to Nair. Nice recovery again from Dunn. Find it look like. As it comes back out. Shot by Majerie. It's blocked. Saulio. Lindsey Horan is getting loose. Now she does. This ball played in. Header. Saved by Nair. Good chance by. Go by. And it's a quick restart by France. In the box. Two runners across. It goes free. Repeat. A shot. Go. 2-0 U.S. On this right side. Into the box. Not a down. They're long, but the flag was up. You can't lose this. You're up 2-0. No, not. It's over to Majerie. And that's high and open. And then Swinger. Headed by Alyssa Mair. But Dunn. On the run. Played it across. Shot. Go. 3-0. And the flag's up. Flag is up. As the ball is played across. Tackled out. Throwing goals to the U.S. There. O'Hara dropped it back. Andre. Stopped by Nair. To the outside. Cross is coming. Delivered. Tipped over by Nair. Terrific save by Nair. It's a corner. And it's waves right now. The French attack. Service coming from that right side. Alyssa Mair gets enough of a separate. Nice move there. And then the stumble. And then the foul. It is Majerie leaving it for Tine. Floating one up. Radar header. France are back at it. And it's the first quality service France has had from a dead ball situation. Radar's on. France in the box of the U.S. Reflected out. Should be a corner. It is for France. And this is always. Hooking it into the middle. Header. Wide. A break there for the U.S. Take a sigh of relief. Setting one up. Nair backpedaling. It's wide. And out for a goal kick. This one floats to the back post. Nick. From pressure. Tine getting it through. Offside flags up. But they didn't get that ball in there. With all due respect to Germany. I think most people feel that these are the two best teams to kill time. Alex Morgan. Tripped up. Terrific job at drawing that contact by Boussaglia. And it should be yellow. Boussaglia does the wrong thing. In that situation, you want to get outside of her. Morgan. Killing time by the corner. Pushed down. Still going to be a U.S.A. throw-in. That is it. The U.S. advances. The French are out.
