We continue with our adventure and finish the installation of our new radar. Getting the cables through the mast is quite a tricky thing but we found a way at the end to pull trough three new cables ;) For now we decided to use our Radar only via WiFi and not install the data cable. What do you think about this idea? Do you use your radar through WiFi?
Also we go on our second freediving session and explore the crystal clear waters of Cyprus. There is no better feeling than to be back in the water. But check out our video to see the whole story.

Hello everyone and welcome to our new episode. In this episode we're going to talk about the
second part about mounting the radar and pre-diving. We know it's quite a little bit
difficult with coronavirus so we hope this video will make you forget this crazy situation for a
So we just had a delicious lunch break
and now I just pulled up Michael for the third time and hopefully the last time and
hopefully we get everything to get fixed now. We still have to find the cable somewhere in the mast
We can't hear it. Now we just have to locate it and hopefully it will finally pop out in the hole
that we're looking for. Oh and Michael still has to add some washers now to the mount so that the
radar will be super secure.
We realized this was going nowhere so instead of trying to push the cable through the tunnel we
decided to use the deck light cable and attach to it the new cables and pull everything through
so we were putting through two electricity and one data cable
Very good we did it we mounted the radar and put in three new wires so data power for the radar and
exchange the cable for the deck light and yeah we went up four times
but this was not the end of it we still needed to get the cables through the deck
and to the navigation table
why it was wrong like I put it on the wrong side
both metal
both metal and then not vice versa let's try again and here we go
and it is the moment of truth everything is connected let's see if if we can see it on our
Raymarine
it looks great
we did it we fixed the radar it took us like the whole day to go up like five times to
drill holes fix it make the cabling which didn't work so it stuck a little bit but we found it at
the end so and yeah it was quite tricky but now everything worked and through wi-fi yeah so the
data cable is still somewhere up there now let us know what you think about that or if you have
tried it yeah reliable and uh yeah we're celebrating we're actually celebrating
with tea because tomorrow we're going to freedive again
the road is closed today and we are behind bars like the marina is still closed
Greta is handling the weight
it was so great to be back in the water after weeks and months on land and in the marinas we
were so happy to be finally back in water and being able to go freediving so this was our
second time freediving basically so we tried hard and we managed to get from 12 meters in the first
one to 18 meters now especially Greta it's crazy and join us in our next episode when we leave
harbor in Larnaca and go to that's the question where are we going to hope to see you at the next
