20 Pound Mega Bag | Alabama Bass Fishing

Alright, so Hunter pretty much told me, Kyle, you don't catch nothing but little ones. So, I'm driving this boat. I'm gonna take you where I wanna go. So, we're at one of Hunter's spots right now. We're in the post-spawn, immediate post-spawn. Some fish are still spawning, but the majority of them are in the post-spawn, garden fry, stuff like that. So, it's one of the hardest times of the year to catch any fish. So, I'm gonna show you what I do. I usually do a lot of finessing this time of year, more than any other time of the year. So, let's get started. Show you what I do to finesse these bunk bass. I got him on right there. It's a big fish. Look at him right there. Oh my God, he's a big fish. Is he hooked? You got him now. Oh my God. Dang it, man. I ain't got the chestie on. You're just so aggressive, man. I got the dash cam on. Little dead fish. Gotta let him go. You wanna let your bait go as close to the water as possible. This kind of stuff. I like throwing this worm under right here. Big overhanging trees on seawalls. Oh, had one. I saw him grab him under it and grab it by the tail. And then, I just let him in for a second. He ate the rest of it. And I went ahead and set the hook on him. It's awesome seeing him watch him eat your bait like that. I absolutely love that so much. Yeah, but he was coming to get it. All right, he's still in there though. So, you could probably get him this cast. All right, let it sink right there. That's it. Here he comes. He's coming after it. Hunter has a vendetta against this fish because he's very pretty. Has a black spot on his head. Yes, I see him. He's looking at your bait. Move it just a hair. He has a black spot on the left side of his face. And Hunter really wants him. No, he does not have it. You're wrong. Oh, he's got it. Yes, get him Kyle. Don't hit him on the back. Finally. Hunter has been wanting this sucker. She wanted him. Is he as pretty as you dreamed? Yes. Let me look at him. He is very pretty, ain't he? Let's get the hot rod. Put him in the sun a little better. You can see how on this side, he's just as spotty looking. Turn to the other side. Black spot on his face right there. We spent like 20 minutes on that sucker. Fish that size, especially spots, are so hard for me to catch. I just cannot seem to catch them. Make them bite a lot. I just can't hardly hook them. Yeah, that's two pounder. I believe it is. Oh my goodness. Good one. Dang. Not really though. I saw him up there. Just watched him eat it. He's got the frame of two and a quarter, maybe even a two and a half. He's just too skinny. Don't even weigh two, brother. All right, Hunter. Let's do a challenge. How many do you think I'll catch before I get to that seawall over there? Yep. Two? God, that's the number. I'll take the over on two. We need three fish. I'm gonna have a dang 10-inch eat this thing and I'm gonna be like, might as well turn this trolling motor on down. We're gonna be here a while. I was just joking. I ain't gonna do nothing crazy. I'm just gonna fish like normal. Oh no! Dang. Now I like your side. Went a little bitty one. Big in two, man. Oh, man. That was a freaking three and a half, looked like. Oh, he got it again. Oh, he's big, big. Shouldn't have caught him either. I'm not getting anything yet. Come here. Ah, no. I said three and a half, but he's not even that. This freaking five pounder. Close to it. God, dude. Man, come on, man. Got him. Oh, dang it. He came up to it. I dropped the power pole. I was trying to make him bite and I lost him. Big and oh, God. I guess I'm gonna catch him. He's bigger than the other two. I think. Let's see. Now, why am I funny? Imagine, that's a five and a half. What you doing? How about another five pounder? Yeah. Well, you suck. Another five or dude, that's over five. Oh, big. I got 20 for the day. Look at this. Look at the little fish. God, look how pretty this one is. I saw him in the water. He was that pretty. All right, everybody. That was a really, really fun day on the water being hunter got to experience. You know, it's kind of breaking my heart that we're on the tail end of the spawn right now. Those three big ones I caught were kind of like last minute bed fish. The last one wasn't really on bed. The first two were. The last one I just didn't see on bed. I mean, three like five pound class fish out of that lake. It's huge. Ended up with over a 20 pound bag and had two more really, really big bites. Even after I caught 20 pounds, Hunter beat me in a challenge that day, so somehow she still ended up being the winner. But anyways, me and Hunter have been working on a concept for a little while now. Finally almost got all the kinks worked out. We're gonna go live from the water in a couple days. Not sure exactly what yet. We might live stream one of these local tournaments that we fish Saturday. We'll just see how it goes. But anyways, it's a different concept. It's not gonna be like anything that anybody else has done live. I don't wanna tell y'all too much about it yet, but it's gonna be a really different thing. And we've been talking about it for a good little while now. We finally almost got all the kinks worked out.
