Hi everyone, welcome to Create Eat Happy.
This is Ohtake Ron.
Today, I wanted to show you how to make bacon potato miso soup.
I know it is not that easy to get miso in your country,
but if you can once get it,
I wanted to share with you a very easy and delicious way
to make miso soup using the ingredients available in any country.
I hope you enjoy this video and I hope you can try it out.
Here are the ingredients.
Cut 2 strips of bacon into small pieces.
Slice 2 small potatoes into quarter rounds.
Thinly slice half onion.
Put water in a pot.
Add 2 teaspoons of dashi powder.
Then add onions and potatoes and bring to a boil.
When it comes to a boil, remove the foam.
It is to remove the bad taste of ingredients.
We Japanese do this very often in cooking.
What about in your country?
Let me know in the comment field.
Now add bacon, cover and cook on medium for 3 minutes.
Check if the potatoes are cooked.
Turn down to low and dilute the miso with a little broth.
Then mix it back into the soup.
You can leave the soup in the pot until the meal time.
Heat until hot then serve.
And now it's done.
Thanks for watching.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
