DOLLAR STORE CAMPING HACKS
Camping season's almost here, so we're heading to the Dollar Tree to pick up a few of our
favorite camping supplies.
I enjoy picking up these colored tablecloths, not only to cover a picnic table, but we can
also use them to sit on the ground if we want to picnic outside.
I also love picking up flatware here.
They had this flatware that doesn't even look disposable, the flatware with the black handles.
It looks like nice flatware, but yet it's plastic and disposable.
And then if you want to save the environment and not use disposable flatware, you could
use this real flatware and each piece is only a dollar.
I love to pick up cleaning supplies at the Dollar Tree just to have in my camping bucket
so that I don't have to gather those every time we go camping.
Duct tape is another must.
We keep it with us every time we travel.
It always seems like there's something that needs to be fixed or held together.
I also like to pick up toothbrushes and toothpaste that I can leave in my camping gear so that
I don't have to take those back and forth from my house every time we go camping.
Sunblock and sunscreen and aloe vera, those are great ones to pick up at the Dollar Tree
as well.
Just make sure that you check the expiration dates.
Soap and hand sanitizer are another great thing to pick up here and just keep in your
camping supplies.
I find it so much easier to pack to go camping if I have all of our camping gear in one location.
I always pick up these shower caps, not to take a shower with, but to cover those odd
shaped bowls with.
That way you can keep out unwanted mosquitoes and other bugs.
The Dollar Tree is also where I restock my traveling pharmacy bag and also our first
aid kit with band-aids and splints and those type of things.
Just make sure once again to check those expiration dates.
These mesh bags would be great to use for laundry bags.
They come in a three pack so you could give each member of your family their own bag to
hold their dirty clothes while you're camping, but I still prefer the pop-up laundry hamper.
We take that with us camping or we also have one that we take with us on cruises.
I picked one up at the Dollar Tree that was a dollar and I also picked up one on Amazon
and it was closer to ten dollars and they are both the exact same hamper.
I love these towel clips.
I also take these when we go on a cruise, but these are great to hang things up to dry
when you're camping.
This cake cover is not only good to cover cakes, it's great for covering your paper
plates so that bugs can't crawl around on them.
I pick up my camping towels and washcloths at the Dollar Tree.
That way if they get ruined or lost, I'm not out a lot of money.
Plus they have some really bright colors right now which would make them really fun for camping.
They also have all kinds of baking and cooking and barbecue utensils that you can pick up
for really inexpensive that I keep in my camping gear and that way, like I said, if something
gets broken or lost, we're not out a lot of money.
In the comments, let me know what camping gear you pick up at the Dollar Tree.
As always, thanks so much for watching and we'll see you next time.
