WHAT IS BRAIN EDUCATION TV? Brain Education TV provides mental health and mental wellness videos to help young adults with loneliness, depression, and anxiety. The foundation of our content comes from Brain Education, an academic study from South Korea that stems from over 40 years of research and application and has been practiced by millions around the world.
WHY WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH… We suffered from high-functioning loneliness and depression our whole lives. We lived different lives in different states, but when we met, we realized we were struggling with common issues that reflected an important problem in our young adult generation. We didn’t know who we were, what we were passionate about, what we should live for, and what direction our lives were “supposed” to go. We spent a lot of time wandering in search of that magical ‘answer’ that will solve all problems (like I’m sure most of you are doing right now), and yet the further we searched outside, the more pronounced the emptiness inside of us felt.
Millions of people suffer silently from mental health related issues. Yet our society still places taboos around openly talking about relevant mental health topics like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. As a result, our young adults don’t know how to talk about it constructively, where to turn to, or what resources they have to combat this real-life threat to their wellbeing.
We credit Brain Education for giving us the courage to overcome our own mental health struggles and create the lives we want...and now we hope you can too through the videos we share on this channel.
If you want to know why you were born, ask your brain.
Any difficulties you face, any problems you need to solve, kindly and humbly, ask your
brain.
Your brain is the father of computers.
In your brain live hope and belief, enlightenment and peace too.
Past and future, heaven and hell are all in your brain.
This meditation will help you bring awareness to your brain.
So much of our lives we live with our brains disconnected from our bodies.
As we chase success, as we compete with each other, as we seek material things, worry about
the future and think about the past, our minds become disconnected from our bodies
that exist in the present.
Sit comfortably in a chair or on the floor and straighten your spine.
Rest your hands comfortably on your knees, palms facing up.
Take a breath in and out, in and out.
First, to connect with your brain, you must bring awareness into the heart.
Feel your heart, bring your mind to your heart.
Imagine opening the door of your heart and your heart sending a line of communication
up your chest, neck, chin, forehead and into your brain.
As the light travels, as the connection is made between your heart and your brain, now
imagine a bright light shining from the middle of your brain.
The past and future, heaven and hell are all present in your brain.
And through this meditation, we will practice finding answers about the question of who
am I?
Before the world told you who you should be, before your parents placed expectations on
your life, before you told yourself who you should be, who are you inside?
Breathe comfortably and sincerely ask your brain, who am I?
Who are you before your name?
Who are you before your religion?
Who are you before your gender?
Who are you before your job title?
Who are you before you're a father, a brother, before you became a mother or a sister?
Who are you beyond all labels?
Ask your mind, who am I?
Who am I?
I sincerely want to know.
Who am I?
When you ask your brain with sincerity and earnestness, your brain will respond.
Only when your brain can hear your earnest desire to find the answer to this question,
it will give you a response.
Who am I?
Please tell me my brain, my dear brain, who am I?
Why am I here?
What do I really want?
I really need to know.
I need to know the answer because I want to know myself.
Who am I?
Keep focusing your mind inside as if you are knocking on a door.
There's a saying that there's no door that stays shut if you keep knocking.
As if you are knocking on the door of your brain, keep asking yourself with sincere earnestness,
who am I?
Who am I?
My dear brain, who am I?
Who am I?
I really need to know who am I.
Who am I?
Feel your brain, feel your heart, feel your body.
What emotions do you see?
What emotions do you feel?
What thoughts are coming through you?
Do you have a strong connection to your brain?
Or does your brain feel like a distant stranger?
Your bond with your brain is a result of your life's choices.
Accept your relationship with your brain just as you are.
The relationship with your brain is no different from the relationship you hold with other
people.
Like all relationships, it must be watered, cared for, and watched over for it to grow
into a beautiful flower.
I hope that you continue to develop the flower of your brain by asking it the questions that
you seek within.
Who am I?
What do I want?
Why am I here?
Where must I go?
What must I do?
All of the answers that you seek exist in the middle of your brain.
