Eating Around Universal Studios Japan Top 12 Recommended Foods Samurai Junjiro Channel Hi, I'm Akane Maru, born and raised in Japan. In this video, we will be eating around Universal Studios Japan. We will introduce 12 kinds of food, including classic foods and the newest food that people line up for. There is also some non-food information, so be sure to watch until the end. Now, let's get started! We've arrived at Universal City Station, where Universal Studios Japan is located. Before entering the park, we will briefly introduce how to get to the park from Shin-Osaka Station, where the bullet train passes through. We will take a train from Platform 7 or 8 at Shin-Osaka Station to move to Osaka Station. Once you arrive at Osaka Station, take a train from Platform 1 to Nishikujo Station. Once you arrive at Nishikujo Station, take the train on Platform 3 on the opposite side of the platform and get off at Universal City Station after two stops. It takes about 30 minutes from Shin-Osaka Station to here. If you follow the crowd at Nishikujo Station, as most people are heading to Universal Studios, it will be easy to arrive by taking the train. Then we will head to the destination. It takes about 5 minutes from the station. Along the way, there is a popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant called Sushiro. Which also offers exclusive menu items that can only be found there. After passing Sushiro, the park entrance can be seen in front of you. This is the Universal Studios Japan that we will introduce. This is a very popular amusement park where about 37,000 people come per day. If you purchase tickets in advance from the official website, you can enter the park without making a line for the ticket counter. Here are the prices. By the way, please note that once you enter the park, you cannot re-enter. You can enter by presenting either a ticket or a QR code on your smartphone. There are many souvenir shops just beyond the entrance. Then let's get to eating and walking around. This time, we will divide the food walk by different areas. First, we will start with this area, which has been popular ever since it opened in 2014. This is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The area is a replica of the Harry Potter movie town. It's as if we've walked into a movie. There is also the Hogwarts Castle at the very end of the area. Well, we will introduce some recommended food in this area. The first store we will introduce is the Magic Neap, where many people line up. This place specializes in meat pies. The pies are always freshly made, so you can eat them hot. The pies are branded with the Hogwarts logo, so fans will love them. The dough is crispy with a nice buttery smell. There's plenty of minced meat inside, seasoned with tomato sauce. The texture of the green peas and mushroom is wonderful. There's also a fresh taste of olive oil. Well, let's move on to the next area. The next area we will introduce is Wonderland, which has attractions and restaurants such as Elmo, Hello Kitty, and Snoopy. The first restaurant in this area is this one, Hello Kitty's Corner Cafe. Here, we will try this sweet treat inspired by Hello Kitty. These are Churritos, which have various flavors sold in the park. The bag has a cute Hello Kitty design on it. The dough of this store is strawberry milk flavored. On the outside, there are tiny sugar toppings shaped like small ribbons, providing a crispy texture. It's a sweet treat for those with a sweet tooth. Next, we'll introduce you to this store, Snoopy's Backlot Cafe. Inside the restaurant, Snoopy's characters are everywhere. There are a variety of dishes, but this is the one we will try this time. This is a Snoopy bun in the shape of Snoopy's face. It looks just like Snoopy's cute face. It is freshly steamed and hot. The fluffy dough is filled with custard cream. It has a rich taste of eggs and milk. It has a melting texture. Well, let's move on to the next area. Next, we will introduce two areas that recreate the street of New York City and Hollywood. There are Curious George and Spider-Man attractions. They offer sweets in the shape of Minion characters' faces, and this is the one we are going to have. It is a cookie sandwich in the shape of the face of the bear character. This is the Chinese steamed bun that we have at this restaurant, where there is always a long line of customers. It is a Minion bun that is shaped like a Minion's face. It looks just like a Minion. The hot dough is filled with curry inside. It is spicy but has a sweet taste, so even children can eat it. It's a very satisfying food with a rich taste. Let's move on to the next area. The next area was the Jurassic Park area. The area is inspired by the movie set of the jungle, and the thrilling ride is especially popular. The first store we will introduce in this area is Amity Snacks. Pork ribs are a popular food here. The pork ribs have a nice smell of black pepper. The meat is juicy with just the right amount of fat. The meat is tender and juicy. You can also taste the sweetness of honey. Next, we would like to introduce this store, Splashdown Snacks. This store sells one of the most popular foods at Universal Studios. That is this turkey leg. The turkey meat is slowly smoked so it has a nice smell. The size is large and satisfying. It's juicy and moist. The flavor of the meat fills your mouth. Let's move on to the next area. Next up is Amity Village. This area is a replica of the town from the movie Jaws. The first restaurant in this area is Amity Landing Restaurant. This is a restaurant built in the boat boarding house design where you can enjoy a variety of different dishes. This time, we will eat this sweet. It is a roll cake with the motif of Jaws. The blue dough has a soda taste to it. Love to see a lot of whipped cream on it. The fins are made of gummies. These gummies taste like a sweet soda. The roll cake is fluffy and moist. The sweetness of the cream and the refreshing taste of the soda make a good match. It is a cute but authentic sweet treat. Next stop is this store, Trade, located between Amity Village and Jurassic Park. The sausage pie is what we have here. It is a satisfying dish with long sausages wrapped in a pie. It's in stick form so it's perfect for walking around eating. The pie crust is filled with tomato sauce. The sausage is juicy and meaty. The crunchy texture is great. Let's move on to the next area. The last one is this popular Mario themed store at Super Nintendo World which opened in 2021. Mario Cafe and Store offers Mario and Luigi sweets. This is the sweet that we eat at the restaurant where people line up every day. It's a pancake sandwich shaped like Mario's hat. On top of the strawberries, there are chocolate chips in the shape of stars. The pancake is filled with whipped cream and custard cream. The fluffy batter and the sweet cream are a perfect match. It has strawberry jam in it so it's fruity and has a slight sourness to it. There are also pancakes shaped like Luigi's hat. How great that it's pretty and tasty!
