This is the last part of my wild hammock camping hope you all enjoyed watching as much as I did
I love it.
Amazing sleep last night.
Absolutely epic.
My 3x3 DD tarp has seen a lot better days.
I think it's pretty much unfixable now.
That's a chimney though.
Coffee break.
As you can see we've been working hard clicking firewood.
I've just been playing with my hammock.
I've put it in a really high setup.
I've got to use one of my ovens to get into it.
It's quite awesome though.
I can walk right underneath that.
Almost.
Okay.
I'll get a shoulder.
I'm in a pine tree.
I wanted a shot of the canopy but I can't get one because the tree is too thick.
I just can't get it because it's too thick like that.
I've put my chicken in a tin tray.
It's going to go in the oven now that it's pre-prepared.
I'll wrap it all in tinfoil first just to protect the ash from the fire.
The chicken is now in the oven.
It's all good.
It's a beautiful evening.
I've just come down to the river to wash my wok.
Some Brillo.
I'm heading back up now.
I've just took the tinfoil off to crisp off my chicken a little bit more.
Here we are guys.
Our dinner.
We've got broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and potatoes.
And our chicken.
Which is absolutely perfect by the way.
And gravy.
And I've just put a jam roll of puddin in.
How awesome is this?
The chicken is perfecting everywhere.
And it just melts in your mouth.
And I've got my jam roll of puddin.
Won't be long.
I've got my jam roll of puddin.
Oh yeah.
Spread it out now so it totally fills the pit.
We have built up our fire.
It's quite massive when you sit down next to it.
It's two metres by one metre fire pit.
Well guys, it's been an absolutely amazing day.
It's time for me to get some shut-eye again because I'm quite tired.
And I'll bring you all back in the morning when we get up.
Morning.
Just gnashed and been building up the fire all night.
Dozing off.
Just put water on for our first coffee.
Looks like the Gary working up here.
Gary's at work.
Coffee.
Fairly burnt through that wood last night like.
Not much left.
That's just my rubbish bag there for glass and tin to take home with me.
Anything I can't burn.
I'm just taking everything down now.
Going to set it out here.
Just to show you.
So my sleeping bag, my wool blanket, my roll mat, my hammock.
My floor tarp.
My Gore-Tex.
My smock and spare change of clothes.
My food bag's there.
Obviously it's empty because I've gone home.
My brew kit.
It's diminished but not finished.
My knife.
First aid kit.
Tripod, plate.
My tongs.
Just makes things easier for moving stuff around the fire.
My fork and spoon.
Trenching tool.
Zebra can.
Head torch.
And a small pan.
That's pretty much it.
And this tarp.
And this bag here.
That's full of all my spare bungee cords and ----.
As you can see it's extremely tangled.
My shelter building for tarps and that.
It's a bit of cordage.
Some bungees and pegs.
I'm just whapping on some bacon rolls.
Gary packing up.
All done.
My rubbish bag.
That's me almost completely packed away now.
Just had two chairs.
And our brew stuff.
Just having our last brew.
Letting the fire go down the rest of it.
Stem logs left out of our lot.
I'll leave that here.
Along with the two chairs.
Now it's us.
All packed up and cleaned and tidied in a way.
Just left my stuff in the tree there.
I'll set off in about 20-30 minutes.
Look at that.
Hazelnuts.
Hazelnuts everywhere.
