VLOGGING IN PARADISE! El Nido Island Hopping, Philippines // Episode 213
El Nido is one of the most amazing places I've been so far and the island hopping was even more incredible. The weather wasn't perfect but that didn't stop us from having an awesome time. The tour included Helicopter Island, Secret Beach, Hidden Beach, lunch on our island and not sure about the last place!
Everything was amazing and it all only cost 1200 pesos each for the whole day.
Travel has changed my life and I have no plans on stopping any time soon.
That's why I am now running this video blog showing you how I travel the world continuously
No glitz. No glamour. Just a man and his backpack.

Quick! Quick! Hurry!
Hurry, don't hurry!
Good morning and welcome back to the Philippines.
I'm in El Nido right now and I'm about to go island hopping.
It's the main thing to do here.
It's 9am.
I'm going to jump on the boat.
Say hi, Rich.
Hey, guys.
Hey, Denny.
We've just been told we need to wear these things
to leave the port for Coast Guard.
We paid 1,200 each for this trip, including the nature fee.
That was cheaper than what was advertised around
and hopefully it's going to be good.
Oh yeah, we met these guys randomly on the beach last night
and it turns out Denny also has an awesome Instagram.
What is it, man?
What? Sorry?
What's your Instagram?
Vinemaya.
There you go, it just flashed up there.
Check it out.
But unfortunately, none of his GoPro and stuff charged.
No, I have no GoPro, no camera.
Check out his Instagram for my photos.
First island down.
Just did a cool bit of snorkeling
and we're about to move on to the next island.
It's a little bit overcast today, a little bit cloudy,
but it doesn't matter.
We're going to make the most of it anyway.
Next island.
It was amazing.
On the way over, they started cooking fish on the grill
while the waves were hitting down on the fish
and just protecting it with a plate.
So I think we're going to get some salty but cooked fish for lunch.
And now we've just come to Hidden Beach.
I think it's somewhere around here, but we have to swim to it.
So I'm going to put this camera away
and whip out the GoPro.
So this is Hidden Beach.
We just swam around the cove,
swam around the corner here.
We find this little beach.
Pretty cool.
Check it out.
We just found an even more hidden beach.
Cheers, bro.
The boat's broken down.
For any of you guys that have been watching for a while,
you know this happens just about every time I'm on a boat.
It's okay now?
Okay.
We just pulled over to have a last bit of snorkeling before lunch
and that was probably the best snorkeling of the day.
And now the guys here are preparing our lunch
and it looks pretty damn good.
Have a look.
We've got these fish.
Check them out.
Nice, man.
It looks good.
Yeah.
Amazing.
Look at this spread.
Look at that.
We've got fish, crab, chicken, eggplant, rice.
Yeah.
I feel like I say this word a lot
but that was an awesome meal.
And now, have a look.
We have the whole beach to ourselves.
We've got a deserted island.
I'm full.
We have a deserted island
and we just had lunch on our own private island
and now we're about to go back on the boat and go snorkeling again.
Life is good.
And just treated to a flip by Denny to make the footage a little bit cooler.
By the way, his Instagram is awesome.
He's a professional skier in his other life when not traveling.
So really check it out.
Now we're going to jump on the boat and do more cool stuff.
It was really cool.
I feel like I keep saying it for like this whole video.
That's really cool or awesome.
But it was.
That was Secret Beach.
And now we have one more stop to go.
An awesome day.
We just finished it at Secret Beach
which apparently was the inspiration for Alex Garden's novel The Beach.
And yeah, we were told that while we were there.
And you can see why.
We had to swim through a little cave and come out into this beautiful beach.
Now we're finally back in El Nido.
But it really was an awesome day.
Island hopping here is something I've always wanted to do.
And I did it in Port Barton last year.
But El Nido is the one that everyone says to come to.
Not sure which was better in my opinion.
We didn't have the perfect weather today.
But it didn't really make that much of a difference.
It was still amazing.
Both of them equally great.
Anyway, that's it.
That's the island hopping here done.
And tomorrow we're off to Coron.
So I'll just say thank you for watching.
And this is my life.
