OUTFISHED BY MY GIRLFRIEND IN SKINNY WATER!!! OCTOBER 1 Lake Chickamauga

All right, today we're back up the Hiawassee and it's unbelievable how much water they have sucked down out of this place. It's probably down three foot in two days and cleared up. There's so much current comes out of this Hiawassee every day. The water changes colors pretty much hourly because how much current stays in this river. So looking good today. Oh I missed him. So that's that railroad truss that we were just walking on. Me and Hunter have veered off the beaten path a little bit. You can see her over there catching all my fish. It's one of my favorite things to do in bass fishing is go in these little bitty creeks where there's always current and you'd be surprised at how many and how big a fish will be in such shallow water because the current keeps the water so cool and oxygenating. So good to put Hunter on some fish. Keep it low. Boom. You got one. Bring him on in here. There you go Hunter. You got him hooked funny. So get him up here quick. Pull him up on the bank. On the bank. On the bank. Come on. That's a fat one. Look how fat. I hooked up your line like all the way over there. Beautiful. Awesome. Am I blinking red? All right let me see you releasing. Fat dude. Thicker than a snicker. No one got it. Just let him get by you then set the hook on him. All right go ahead. Look at you go girl. You want another picture? Better get him by the mouth. He'll flop from the belly. I knew it. I knew it. I know you can't grab. Here I'll get another bait. Nope he already came off. Hunter got me on that spot. That's a cool spot though. I'm real proud of her too. This jig I was using didn't have much gap to it and I don't have time to explain what that means but I told Hunter you can't set the hook with a fish coming straight at you so she got a bite and I was like you got a bite you got a bite she was like yeah but he's coming straight at me so I lost my composure she kept hers all right so this is the week of extreme conditions obviously it went from three foot flooded to about two foot low in one week it's crazy but what is clearing up and it's falling so these fish should be in these ditches or this road I'm on there's a few culverts and where a creek crosses the road goes underneath the road in the culverts and there's ditches going out so there's one up here I'm going to try to flip the jig into see if I can get a bite or two.
