What equipment do you use? I have a Canon 700D with Rode VideoMic Go, a Canon Powershot S120 and a GoPro Hero 3+ Black. I edit on my Acer 8GB RAM laptop.

What work are you doing? Right now I am running this video blog while doing freelance web design and video editing to supplement my travelling lifestyle.
How do you meet the people in your videos? Hostels, guesthouses and conversations! You meet people so easily while travelling. Just open yourself up and you will meet all sorts of amazing people.

Good morning. Yesterday evening made a snap decision to get out of Jakarta for
a few days. We packed our stuff, jumped in an Uber, got a train ticket and now we're
in a place called Bandung. On the way, on the train, I booked a hotel for a
relatively cheap price. It was £15 a night. But then I messaged them and told them about
this blog and asked if it was possible to have an upgrade. And now, I'm in the presidential
suite. But this is just the bedroom. Let me take you through to the lobby. Check it out.
I have a lobby in my hotel room. This is my bathroom. A shower, of course, plus a bath.
I haven't had a bath in a long time. Let me clarify that. I don't mean I haven't washed
in a long time, I just mean I haven't had a bath in a long time. Anyway. Now I know
it's not the height of luxury, but it's the first time I've had this, where I've had an
upgrade into a nicer room just because of the blog. So for me, it feels really cool.
Yeah, it's still a really nice room. And now, I'm going to go check out the breakfast buffet.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot the name of the hotel. Hotel Mutiara. Did you get that? Okay, cool.
So Steph is waiting for me at breakfast down here, because I took too long to film.
Oh, this looks good. And good morning, Steph.
Good breakfast.
We've just rented a bike for the day to go explore with, and they should be dropping
off to the hotel, which is pretty cool. They should be outside now.
Yeah, here it is.
Salted. Let's go.
Let's go.
So we made it out of Bandung. About half an hour outside now, and I've just pulled over
because, check this out.
Okay, so Steph has the camera. I am going to go over here and get a photo. I don't know
if I'm allowed. It just looks too cool not to try. Awesome.
Oh my god. This is really cool. Oh my god. And I'm going to go sit on there. There's
Steph over there. She's shouting at me to be careful, I think. Which is probably fair
enough.
I think also maybe a couple of girls just recognised me from the road. I was filming
and they just started shouting, saying, I love you. So if that is you, then comment
below, because that's really cool. I think that's the first time I've been recognised.
If it's not, then I don't know, it's just some random girls. But if not, then say hi.
Anyway, back on the road.
Let's go.
After one and a half hours of driving, with a couple of stops in between, we've now arrived
at where we were heading, which is a place called Kawaputi. Just parked the bike here,
and apparently we need to jump out the bike and jump in one of these BMOs to get to the
top. So let's go.
We're now at the top of this little hill, and I realise I haven't told you where we're
going yet, but it's called Kawaputi, and I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Check this out.
Steph's taking photos of me right now and she looks like a sniper.
So basically, it's a giant volcanic crater lake. I don't actually know much more about
it than that.
Look at the colour of this sand. It's awesome. And one thing you can't tell is that it smells
so strongly of sulphur here as well.
Fresh air.
This is really cool. It's mystical, I guess.
There's just mist everywhere. I don't think that's the meaning of mystical, but there's
lots of mist, and it's cool.
I've really tried to capture this place as well as I possibly can, because it's beautiful
here, and it's like nowhere, really, I've been before. But now, we're both really hungry,
so me and Steph are going to go find some food somewhere.
Well, we were driving to get food, and we just pulled over quickly because I have no
idea why this is here, but there's a bunny playpen. There's loads of little bunnies.
I think they also sell bunnies. Hey, guys!
Well, that was unexpected. Anyway, let's go get some food.
And this is the place. Let's check it out.
This is called Sindang Reret Restaurant. Well, it's kind of near Kawabuti. We've been biking
for about 40 minutes, but when I searched the best things to do in Bandung, this came
up on the Two Monkeys travel group blog of the seven best things to do in Bandung.
It's a really cool view. Look at this. This is the view of the rice fields.
And we're actually suspended above the water, which is pretty cool.
And check out the food.
That was a great lunch, and I wouldn't usually come somewhere like this because it seems
more expensive, but for all of that was just less than 100,000, so less than five pounds.
Yeah, really good. Thanks to Two Monkeys travel group for that blog post.
I've done two of the seven things to do in Bali. In Bali? In Bandung today.
Anyway, now we need to head back to Bandung because it's another 45-minute drive.
Let's get on the way.
Back in the flat now, and rather than 45 minutes, that was about two and a half hours.
Got caught in some horrendous traffic, which, oh well, it doesn't matter now.
We're back in the hotel now. Just a frustrating end to what has otherwise been a fantastic day.
And it really has been a great day, but going to forget about that for now because heading
straight back out again and going to see some of Bandung at night.
Let's go.
They have some. Not bad.
So, we came to Paris, Punjab, because Steph went to meet one of her old high school friends,
but now we've quickly realised there's not much else to do here, so we're going to see
what else there is to do tonight.
We just tried a bar called The Loft, which is closed on a Friday night because of Ramadan,
we assume. So, I don't know, walking down to Baraga Street now, which is one of the
famous streets of Bandung, going to see if anything's open there, and if not, just call
it a night.
This is Baraga.
Make sure there's no dirt in it.
I just stubbed my toe so badly. Oh my god, like, you can see the blood, it's bleeding
everywhere, it's really deep. Oh my god.
And now Steph's about to put iodine in it. I'm scared.
Thank you. Thank you.
I was having a mini panic there because it was really deep, but Steph's fixed it, like
a wounded animal. But now, it's all better.
My foot is fixed, so we're going to this place.
This place is cheap. All of these meals are 75p each, 75p, 50p, 50p? Nice, that's mine,
and that's Steph's. Big lump of meat.
But basically, this place turns instant noodles into nice meals.
It's a pretty cool idea, and that's why it's cheap.
Back at the hotel now. Overall, a really awesome day. Loads of stuff has happened, and I'm
completely spent now, so there's nothing more to say other than goodnight, thank you for
watching, and this is my life.
Bye.
