CRAZY KIT KAT FLAVORS + ASIAN CHILDHOOD CANDY - Fung Bros Food

What's going on everybody welcome to a style of video that we have not done in a while we are going to be talking about Right now we're here at aji ichiban, which is an asian snack store and we're here with our friend michelle Hey guys, i'm michelle. I'm a huge asian candy scene and I got too many cavities to prove it Okay, there is a huge pile of asian candy behind us Some of them i've had but most of them I have never had before trust me If you really like asian candy or you're even kind of interested you gotta know some of these know your asian candy All right You guys if you didn't know in japanese aji ichiban essentially means top number one superior and the coolest thing That they immediately have here is four flavors of japanese kit kats michelle Why does it seem like kit kats from japan have so many different flavors? so kit kats are actually kind of like a good luck charm because In japanese kit kat means kitto katsu is it just like oh you're gonna win kind of all right So the first kit kat flavor that we're gonna be covering is the green tea one. Yo, does that actually have pieces of matcha in it? Okay It's almost like a matcha White chocolate flavor. Yeah, the next japanese kit kat flavor. We've got is strawberry. Oh, yeah. Look at that. All right This is very fruity. It is emitting a strawberry like aroma i'm going Hey, whoa Yo, the strawberry flavor hits you like a train, but it has pieces of strawberry in it. Next up. We got dark chocolate This is actually not as dark as I thought it would be last but not least This is a flavor. I did not know about until today is the raspberry japanese kit kat This smells like like raspberries are right in front of me wow, that Is the best one that we've had yo you guys that's it for the japanese kit kat section But we got to get to some of these other things. Yo, you guys we got to get into it for me I love these stuffed marshmallows Oh Great gummy inside wrapped in a nice soft marshmallowy outside. This is chocolate chocolate Yeah That's the one i'm not gonna lie. Look look like a little piece of poo inside I got the japanese fizzy candy and I got warheads and american fizzy candy. So let's see how these compare. Okay Oh my god, that ball looks crazy All right. So while you're eating that tell me why your face went like this All right, i'm gonna try the blackheads or blackheads I'm gonna try the warheads this black cherry by the way Wow, look at all that I like how you said that you said it very scientifically that my glands are salivating. Oh, okay Now the sour is like going away. It's actually becoming sweeter. I see why people like these now are real quick I'm gonna go with some traditional chinese candies right here in my right hand I have the classic white rabbit candy and then in my left hand I got that candy that you're gonna eat a lot during new years Which is the flavor is a milky strawberry candy in cantonese. We call it lychee tong Honestly, this candy is shaped like no other american candy would be no man. Oh my god I don't got time to eat this thing right now. Yo, that's the thing about lychee tong you eat that forever All right. Let's try this white rabbit candy. It's got the rice paper around it. You can eat the rice paper. Don't worry It tastes like sweet milk. Yo, i've got the gummies in my hand. I've got these japanese cocoland lot 100 gummies This is my first time ever having what is called black currant It's like in between a grape and a lychee kind of oh, that's a pretty good one All right. First of all, i'm really excited about this one and i'll tell you why my friend and it is a gummy corn Oh my gosh, tell me that doesn't smell like corn Whoa It's a corny egg pudding mixed with the poma. Yeah All right, michelle. We had to skip to the gummies. What do you got in your hands? I got an egg gummy. I got frog turtle lychee and mango Okay, I will say that those are flavors you would probably not find at your local sweet factory going for the mango Oh, it's got a subtle mango taste. Let's go for the lychee. Wow Stuffing them this lychee one reminds me of like those actual jellies that you get like in the grocery store Oh the ones that you pop the top and they're juicy and then you have to squeeze them out. Let's go for the turtle Ah Franklin this has a creamy taste to it because it's a little white. I think the center part like gushes out what of the turtle? So you have a tree frog here yo, it honestly is life-size take the frog Oh, there's a lot of flavors like each color is different. Oh, man, you're tasting the arm the foot. Okay I think it's orange. Oh Orange cream. All right here. I have the fruit candy section right here. I got the durian fruit I got a lychee guava candy right here. And then I have a young coconut candy. Oh Oh, man, you trying to bite it not a huge fan yo Look at this. It looks like durian taffy Yes, it stinks. It got the phone Whoa, it got the funk. I'm excited That tastes exactly like durian, yeah, let's go with the guava because I never really had a guava candy Has that typical candy taste it's hard shell really sweet a little sour It's good though here. I have a hard lychee ball That's good for a hard candy. I give it like an 8.5 out of 10, man Yeah, and he did a pretty good job. Yo, you guys I got mad traditional candies right here We've got a unmarked apple candy. We've got ginger candy. We've got black sesame candy. We've got peanut candy We've got maltose. Yeah, that looks like a real piece of apple Whoa, it's like a homemade candy. You guys gotta try it There's apple pieces in it and i'm crunching on it like it's an apple. So it is just a wrapped up eat it So since it's preserved it has a little bit of sourness I got it was good though got the ginger candy It's all right It's not something for the kids I think if you are above the age of 45 you probably love that candy that looks like a century old recipe Whoa, whoa that crunch Okay very robust Yo david, is it weird that uh, you're About 10 allergic to nuts. Yeah I do it for you guys, man If you're allergic to nuts Do not come near this one. It could be bad Yo, what is the maltose though? I'm not gonna lie david It looks right off the bat something that's out of jurassic park where the mosquito gets stuck in the tree We're going to create some dinosaur really really when you make that face Which side though if it's hitting your tongue, it's extra sour when you flip it out I got a coca-cola This tastes like a deflated coke though. Oh, that's a pretty good way to put it They do kind of taste like deflated coke. Yeah, it's not fizzy All right, actually I wanted to show you guys the red bean because you see yeah the hongdao candy It's kind of shaped like a red bean Yo, that tastes like red. Yo, where's the red bean one man? I like it the lobster claw covered in sugar Yeah, i'm trying the banana They used to call me a banana growing up But now I eat them and then actually real quick.
