Unboxing My EXCLUSIVE Mytheresa Capsule Collection + Try-on! | JAMIE CHUA

Hello my lovelies and welcome back to another episode of All About Jamie. As you can see, I have got many shopping bags and boxes right here. So today, we are going to do this month's shopping haul. As you guys know that I just came back from a long trip and of course, I went to do a little bit of shopping, but only for the brands that I cannot buy online. So usually when I travel, I tend not to spend too much time shopping so that I can maximise my sightseeing time. And since I'm paying so much for my travels, I think that I shouldn't be wasting too much time trying on stuff, shopping and all, but mainly to tick my bucket list. And of course guys, I like to shop smart like all of you. And I like to compare the prices when I'm out shopping with the prices that I can get online so that I can get the best deals. Look at these sky-high platform shoes. And you know what they say? The higher the shoes, the closer to heaven. I have been looking for a white pair of platform sandals actually. The ones without the back like these. Because I think they are so versatile and will go with so many cute outfits. Let's try them on. They are super high and I love it. It just gives that illusion of very, very skinny long legs when I put these on. And let's try them on for comfort. And because of the very sturdy platforms, they are actually super comfortable. And when it comes to shoes, I am very, very particular about comfort. I don't believe in struggling while wearing shoes that are, you know, pinching my feet and all that. Because when I am in pain, it shows on my face. All right, now let's go on to the next one. And it's also a pair of shoes from Versace because they are all on sale right now. Actually, I've been eyeing these two pairs of shoes for quite a while. And then they are on sale and I could find them in my size. Lucky me. Whoa, Barbie would agree with this. So these pink platform satin heels have got pink rhinestone all over. So it's like super bling. I think that they are perfect for a night out to an event or even to a party, you know, with a cute little dress on. These would definitely stand out. So guys, you can see that the platform is quite thick, which is why it makes it more comfortable. And even with this, I think it looks like about 18 centimetres high or more. I don't know, but let's try them on for comfort right now. And guys, look at the cute little Medusa charm at the side. These just give the illusion of never-ending legs for days. Now for more from the Capsule Collection. Whoops. You can see I get super excited whenever I'm unboxing. Pretty clearly. First up is this Jungmoo's crop shirt. I am pretty sure that Callista is going to be borrowing this shirt from me. This is so versatile and I have been looking for a crop shirt that is not too short on me. This is just perfect and I'll show you guys in a jiffy. And I love how there is this bit of gold scent right here. And it is also really easy to put it on because there is a zipper at the back, which means you don't have to unbutton the shirt to put it on. That helps a lot when you are in a rush for time. And next from my picks would be this Dolce & Gabbana floral dress. You guys know how I love my garden, so I'll be wearing this and walking around my garden. Nah, kidding. Not just walking around the garden, but it is perfect for a pretty luncheon with the girls or even a nice date night out. And one of my absolute favourite brands, Alaya. So I have already bought this dress in white and it looks so super fabulous. And guys, let me tell you that I have bought Alaya dresses from like more than a decade ago and they are still looking super current today. I've been wearing some of them on my Instagram if you guys have already seen. And those are my vintage Alaya pieces. They never go out of style, which is why I would invest my money in Alaya dresses like forever. This one is in my favourite colour, pink. And it is the crinoline dress. Kind of like, it's so cute when you put it on. And when you swish, it looks like you have a crinoline on, which is why they call it a crinoline dress. And it's just so pretty and swishy. And from a new brand, Patok, that I have never tried. But this time, I am looking at their capsule collections and there are so many cute stuff. Most of them already sold out. So this is what I managed to get in my stash. This little cute cardigan, it just reminds me of like a little girl's cardigan. And I will pair this cardigan with the bubble skirt. Both of them are from Patok. But hardly because they are selling out so fast, I've seen like pink outfits that I wanted to get, like the jacket and the skirt and in bright yellow as well. And they already like sold out in my size. So hardly don't miss the both. And I also love that the prices are not so expensive as compared to other designers. The quality is really good. Like I'm all about good quality clothing because I believe that if they are made of good quality materials, it tends to last a long, long time. It is really heavy so I think I gotta use both hands and it's still still very very heavy. But you know what they say, when the item is heavy, it means it is of very good quality and also very expensive. I'm quite excited about this because I don't have like crystal vase like that yet. How beautiful is this? Oh, it's super heavy. So you can be sure that the wind is never going to blow your vase onto the floor. So this is the eye vase in large size and crystal. This eye vase I feel is truly a work of art. All these facets catches the light and it is really like a mirror game. And I want to show you how an arrangement would look like in this vase. So, flowers please. Notice how a bouquet of flowers look in a plain vase like that. And then when I put it into the eye vase, you will see that it truly look like a million dollars north. Now, what do you guys think of this amazing difference? Immediately transform a plain bouquet of flowers into another work of art. And now for the part that I think you guys are pretty excited about because it's been a while since I bought a Chanel bag. And this time, I got myself two Chanel bags as my own Mother's Day gift. I think for having two children who are now adults and such beautiful children, I deserve a gift or two gifts. I think I should claim the price of the bags from my children as Mother's Day gifts. I will give them the invoice. Right, I'm pretty excited about this one. When I saw it, I think it's just like super, super cute. It's very, very tiny, okay? It's not that I love tiny bags. Although I can't put everything in it, this one is alright. Super cute. And while it need be, there's always the boyfriend with pocket. It's something pretty and pink. I love boxy bags like that. That looks like a vanity case. And I'm going to open this up. And yes, it's sort of like a vanity case because it has a heart-shaped mirror inside. And you can do your touch-up just by looking at this mirror. Although it's quite small, but I think it fits like my lipstick, like credit cards. Although we don't really need credit cards these days. Like I pay for everything from my phone. My little powder compact, things like your blotter, maybe a tiny vial of perfume. So this works really well for me. And if there are going to be other colours, I would like to buy them too, actually. So it's really cute. And the thing is, it matches perfectly with that Aaliyah dress you just got. And the Versace shoes. Now next up, so this bag is not a typical design that I would usually get. But I fell in love with this because it is also really versatile. This is the 22 in the mini size. But what's special about it is that this one comes with the pearl chain. And they make very, very limited pieces of the ones with the pearl chain. Actually, it was very, very hard for me to find this piece. Probably like, you know, it's close to impossible. I have tried for quite a long time. And the difference between the normal 22 in mini and the one with the pearl is that the Chanel words here have got like quilted etchings on it. Whereas the one without the pearls just comes with a smooth finish. This bag is kind of like a formal style. Or you would say something like a bucket bag. And what I love about it is that I could use it in so many ways. And if I really want like to wear this with a ladylike dress, I would actually just keep the long straps in the bag and just hold it like that. So it's like a hand carry bag, which is something that I really love. If you guys know that I love my Kelly bags, and they are my Birkins, and they're all like hand carry bags. I'm not big on like sling bags. So this one works for me. And on days when I want to be quite casual but still glamorous, I can choose to take out the long chains. You can wear them together like as a cross body. Or if you want to be really, really casual, you can keep the chain inside and just wear it with the leather sling. And that's why I love this bag because it's so versatile that I can dress it up or dress it down in so many ways. So guys, I hope you have enjoyed watching this video.
