Terrafirma vs. NLEX highlights | 2023 PBA on Tour - June 16, 2023

I still really envy their era because all their practice games are held in a single you know air-conditioned facility Even with the TV coverage these guys are really blessed and truly enjoying the kind of basketball they deserve There are a lot of guys on that bench who don't play much during the regular season But it's important because if key players get injured during the regular season it's a big deal for the guys coming off the bench to lose confidence They're not really showing yet what they're going to show in the regular season Now you know everyone is really trying to get into the swing of things So they won't show all of that there because obviously they don't want to you know use their surprise packages But of course they are definitely trying it here when it comes to the All-Filipino I said okay that's it Isaac And he told me yeah it should be smooth sailing from here on I've been covering a few of these Terrafirma preseason games And so my actions improved here Isaac But of course when you talk about Don Trolliano he's really one of those main cogs I'm still waiting for the NLEX You know the improvement of Don Trolliano he didn't win the most improved player of all time Don steps back for a three-pointer That's a tough shot there Or that' s a long two Trolliano passes behind his back to Rosales Out to Adamos Good ball movement but they almost lose it They completely lose it now And Rosales will no longer bother Tiongzon who comes in for the deuce Even you know it's already been shot But that's the thing it really makes a difference in any league if you can shoot A little bit ambitious was Terrafirma there Trolliano makes the layup on Fajardo The NLEX is running again They've been trying to run a lot and Fajardo finishes this great He's chasing Trolliano right now 14- 10 Sean Anthony will try from deep Sean connects His dad was my teammate back in college That's why I congratulated You know Donnetos for that I know my kid has a date That's what she said That's how big it is She still isn't Oh look at that Pascual tries to chase the rebound Calvo secures it Anthony gets hit in the face Gomez de Leano is coming up short And he does get the offensive board though Calvo one-hander 20-14 This is also the NLEX zone Nieto with a steal Off to the races He gets rid of Mina And finishes for the two-point The NLEX Road Warriors lead 22-18 with four points Yes this is something that I really enjoy watching especially with the kids coming up Because one day you know the guys you're seeing on the floor right now Young players in the 12-14 and under BBA So you know the future is so bright for so many players And really if you see talent coming up eventually they will be your superstars NLEX is now firing They have numbers Alas He knocks it from downtown But I really liked the one who answered He was in the eight points That's all about NLEX Alolino Straight away Burling right in front of Alamos Doon had three goals two from Jello Alolino who now has six points Or eight points that is Great play Great pass there Great play there on the part of NLEX Kaya bigla binanasgata ng pagkaka-execute doon ng NLEX Alanis loves this shot And he shows his walk Johnson working with Goh Entry pass Not good And that's a smart move there Alanis again Could not make it back-to -back Goh Short Kahilig You know Drake Kahilig will always make sure that before he goes down in defense the play is over That's true And you know he'll probably always be the last guy to get back down He's trying to make plays as Alas hits another three That's two now John But Kevin giving instructions on defense didn't notice Iwami immediately took advantage You can never make a mistake by blinking an eye against Wame Johnson At the top mapping up the miss Kahilig The top of the key The shooter at the top of the key coach for the free-throw line area That's really important when you're playing against a zone defense I know Wame it's also more important for me to knock down my three And then he comes to practice early and leaves late But what a nice move by Aisab Goh the one who didn't practice outside shots Using that left hand under the basket I can't wait to see the full effect of the Kyungsun-Goh combination as Wame drops it off to Alolino And they do get the stop off that Trolliano miss Kyungsun feeling it Wame giving away Now they're trying to get Kyungsun through a cross screen Oh look at that crossover Wame grabs the defender just couldn't finish but Alolino locks up the miss Anthony is asking about a penalty violation That's a foul Yes that's a foul Oh and a final play for Kahilig It was the lay-up by Adamos earlier and Trolliano finally ends the crowd Could be either Trolliano or even Kevin Nolasu you know those two of their best scorers They didn't have a field goal for four and a half minutes That's what Allen Bina says Trust the solid ground in this stretch Trolliano look at him go Oh he is just helping and towing Enlix back Rosales ni Sean Anthony couldn't finish Adamos with a sweeping put-back Rosales is heading to Pascual Five seconds on the shot clock Trolliano is making his move Trolliano just stabs him there We also have their energy You see Javi you know really pressure and even Mina and even Alolino You know those things are happening Those guys are strong they lie down underneath Alas a half- court heave Goal From half-court The Enlix Road Warriors lead 53-52 That's another miss Pascual secures the rebound Alas You're up Mina Alas is pushing for Enlix Zig-zagging What a pass That's the result for Gilbert Alas Working his magic I think terra firma was expecting the drop o be for Adamos but look at that Yung Zonda is setting the defense once again Big denial no ball there He's back in the backdoor That's really reading the situation very well Beautiful passes here that we're seeing Yung Zonda felt it was good But his shot just didn' t go in Pascual has the shot Pascual makes the three Pinoy step now Whatever step you can talk about You can definitely get so creative just to be able to get a shot in And how about this The bigs of Enlix hitting their threes Yung Zonda Nice pass How to pass it off Chonson again Initiating the offense The pass this time to Amsol Another assist for Chonson And to set up your offense And it's great when Chonson is scoring like that for terra firma You did great on the test You're also good at living And how about that Beautiful pass there Pati was the rebound Chonson was also taking it Here's Calvo He had all the space in the world Chonson using that Ramos screen He was with Godiguez Aldrich High tactic closeout This time Mwame Couple of makes The basket is good for Mwame Chonson I was on fire right now Calvo is attacking Camson passes it to Boing He might transfer to his player He might transfer Once reviewed maybe make a decision Chonson Mwame All business He's also working on his game His consistency The way he reads and executes that offense Trojan Chonson Had to give the ball up that time Mina against Alas Great defense from Kevin But Mina Chonson says "I don't care " Mwame Chonson To Mina And Mina knocks down the Jade Tumahinig is the Alubino The helper from yesterday But right now it's Mina Mina naman Trojano Off the glass Sabay kick out kay Taladua He gets the ball back A second on the shot clock He knew about it But had little time to adjust Pascual grabs the rebound The tap from behind by Alanis Ramos jumping over two defenders No point in the alley for Fajardo The extra pass to Pascual Terafirma will enter the fourth quarter with a nine-point lead Rosales will try again Finally for Crismo Calvo Using the great wall of work Nice pass Inside pass A little too ambitious that time Mina Maatake Alanis Try to leave it to Chonson Trojano could not grab on to the rebound Oh on the run Hand off to Chonson Extra pass to Pascual Terafirma Perfect execution He's physical Doesn't really scream athlete But he's in game shape It can happen It's good for his coupon How can you not give him the credit for what he's doing inside This is also Mina Again it falls away And follows it again On cue On cue there Chonson being met by Fajardo Wami Kick out Kahilig from deep Toxic rebound Even Wami couldn' t really buy a basket that much But the good thing about it they never abandoned their offense They just kept on shooting and shooting It's also that he treats every game like a game seven of the finals Yes he just keeps on playing hard every single night Look at the effort of these men Oh wow look at the way those two players just fought for that ball Trojano Getting away and scoring Here is Alolino Going to Ramos Chonson will try again Bucket for Wami For them to be on the winning end of a blowout would be huge for this team Oh yes You want to overcome No matter what job you have nothing happens You want to have this feel-good confidence-boosting game especially in the preseason At least you're coming to any conference with a positive note At the start of the game back in the first quarter but since then it's been a different story Margo is still working hard underneath Enlex was not really able to run and get those easy baskets so at least it gives them more options on offense The Terrafirma Chief put on a great performance Thank you
