We returned to Cascade Falls Regional Park in Mission, British Columbia, Canada in search of a legendary, hidden, natural water slide. Cascade Falls is a wonderful, big waterfall that can be viewed from a free suspension bridge, but we were on a quest to find the slide that eluded us on our previous trip out here last year.

Good morning from Mission, British Columbia.
We're out here at Cascade Falls Regional Park,
about two hours drive east of Vancouver.
And some of you might remember we were here last year,
found some epic jump spots down there,
but really we were in search of
a legendary natural water slide
that's supposed to be around here somewhere.
So this time we're back, I got a hot tip
that the slide is actually,
the slide is actually upstream of the waterfall.
So today we're heading out to see if we can find that slide.
I love this part of BC, it's very rural.
And actually last year when we were here on the drive-in,
we saw a fox by the side of the road, that was pretty cool.
And today, this morning as we were driving in,
we saw an adolescent black bear walking up the road.
Of course we stopped to give it some space to walk
and then some idiot behind us just pulled up on the bear
and chased it down the road.
Guys, don't chase bears down the road.
Of course that's considered disturbing the wildlife.
We never wanna disturb the wildlife, guys.
Let the wildlife do its thing.
Keep a safe distance, enjoy it.
But definitely don't chase it down the road in an SUV
like this Canadian Yahoo we saw.
Cascade Falls is a beautiful waterfall.
Even if you just wanna come and check out the waterfall
from the suspension bridge, it's free.
You don't have to pay to park or no entry fee.
And today is a Thursday weekday,
and we pulled up at like 10.30, we're the only people here.
So you don't have to do anything crazy
to enjoy this beautiful spot in Mission, BC.
Beautiful waterfall, free suspension bridge,
downstream like last year, some nice cliff jumps and stuff.
Also other little waterfalls to enjoy,
you don't have to jump off of.
And obviously this creek is beautiful above Cascade Falls.
Cascade Creek, I believe it's called.
Don't have to do anything crazy,
but if you wanna do some rock hopping, boulder hopping,
you know, pretty mellow.
Although I have heard the flows can get pretty high,
so you wanna be careful.
Just do whatever's in your skillset, you know,
and don't be afraid to push yourself a little bit,
but don't go crazy.
Leave that to me.
So there was a spot I had marked on Google Maps.
Not sure how I came up with that spot.
I may have just looked at the satellite
or can't remember if someone told me about it,
but the spot I had marked is not where the slide is
because we had passed that maybe quarter mile back.
This is absolutely beautiful here.
I really wanna hit that slide.
Don't wanna get skunked two years in a row
on this awesome slide.
I just started feeling better too.
So I'm pumped to do it,
even though the water's probably like 50, 55 degrees.
I'm amped up to get some sliding
and get back in that infamous groove
because I was laid up being sick for a little while,
but man, I ate some ramen in Vancouver last night
and crushed like 10 cloves of garlic into that thing
and I am feeling rejuvenated.
So we were just getting ready to turn back
after this kind of bend in the creek here,
and I saw this big drop coming up.
Not sure, but I think, oh yeah,
this is definitely it.
Now, we just gotta depth check this,
make sure it's safe.
Super excited.
Let's do this.
Just depth checked it.
It's like seven feet deep,
so it looks like we're ready to rock.
I don't know if this is the way that you usually go.
It feels like a bit of a tight squeeze there.
So that slide is super cool.
Not too long, but nice and steep.
Some free fall at the bottom.
Super deep pool.
This water is icy cold though.
It's the middle of September
and I'm happy the flow isn't super low.
I was a little worried.
So we're headed upstream now of that slide
because there's another beautiful waterfall up here.
Just wanna check it out.
Don't think we can slide it,
but it looks absolutely gorgeous.
Look at this crystal clear water.
It's this bluish green color.
It's super cold, but it's super beautiful as well.
Cascade Falls Regional Park out here
in Mission, British Columbia, Canada.
Wow.
It's truly awe-inspiring.
I feel so lucky to be out here.
And again, disappointed by the graffiti.
Guys, just to reiterate, this place is beautiful.
We all have to work together to keep it that way.
Not just for future generations, but for each other.
I'm gonna keep it beautiful for you.
You keep it beautiful for me.
Because if we don't take care of this,
this water won't be crystal clear much longer.
The rocks will be covered in graffiti
and we're just gonna accelerate the process
of turning this planet into a dump, which nobody wants.
Infamous.
