These individuals stand accused of violating rules that protect the United States and ensure
that those who are entrusted with our national security do not abuse their positions for
any reason, including for personal profit.
The details of the crimes these defendants committed
is a horrific and stark example
of violent police misconduct,
which has no place in our society today.
As in every case, our responsibility and goal has been to seek justice on behalf of the
victims and the community.
And every day since October 27, 2018, that is what we have tried to do.
To do our part to seek justice for the victims and to hold this defendant accountable to
the fullest extent of the law.
