All that rain up in New York is also impacting the Phillies. The game against
the Mets was just postponed. They were supposed to play at Citi Field and back
here in Philadelphia. The rain might not be done with us just yet. Let's get
right over to meteorologist Amy Sousa is a look at your next weather forecast.
Tell me all that red behind you all that red behind me. Well, that's the
same system and it actually brushed past us last night. It wasn't apparent.
Are we gonna get the bull's eye? Is New York gonna get the bull's eye? We got
the edge of it, which was quite enough now in New York. So far, the average
accumulation where you see all these shades of pink and bright orange and
red 5.8 inches. That means there are some places that have picked up
isolated totals in excess of six, perhaps even up to seven inches and
then lesser amounts down toward four inches. But that's what did it all that
flooding. We could see some areas that pick up by the time this is all done
3 to 4 inches. This is what we're looking at. So not the bright magenta
shades, but we've got these oranges down, uh, down the shore into parts of
Atlantic County into Gloucester County, Camden County, even a little bit of
this up into Bucks County and some of the rainfall totals that we picked up
as of seven a.m. Malika Hill 2.56 inches Mount Ephraim. We're looking at
1.77 inches, Brigantine and Atlantic City, both 1.57 inches. Doylestown 1.4
and Northeast Philadelphia 1.06. Now I have to tell you that was as of seven
a.m. We added some to that, and we may be adding more later on this afternoon
or this evening. 66 right now in Philadelphia. That's about where we'll
top out. We have winds out of the north northeast, and they're gusty at times
up as high as 20 miles an hour right now. Fairly quiet across our area. You
can see from Tom's River headed up toward Long Island. There is more
activity there, and they have all their flood warnings posted to the north of
us. We do not have any flood warnings. We do have a watch, and that is for
Burlington and Mercer counties. Right now, all the activity lifting to the
north, but we are waiting to see another system coming in that will merge
with all of this from the West. We're waiting to see what it will do. We're
gonna reevaluate all of that as fresh information comes in.
