Welcome to the Ride Review Video Magazine and a new video from us.
Today we are in Vienna at the Japan Expo Europe.
This is the fair about amusement parks, entertainment and I don't know what else.
We will show you some exciting things, some news, some announcements or what else has happened lately.
Stay tuned, it will definitely be interesting.
We already had the first evening event yesterday where we already chatted a bit.
It will definitely be good and we are now in Vienna, the sun is shining, we go in and look at the fair. Have fun.
So, we are already inside, we got our badges, which are not as beautiful as usual, but there are official media partners here.
Among other things, the Kirmes-O-Park-Review and if you open it, there are really great people up in the middle.
Look at these two. If you've seen them before, then you're on the right YouTube channel.
I'm so hot.
My name is Dirk Rundsheimer, I am a representative of RIS, Ride Engineering Switzerland, a nice company from Switzerland.
We develop, build, design rides for children, for adults, for thrill-crazy people.
I am happy that you visit us here at the stand.
Thank you for that and I'm looking forward to the next time.
Wonderful, and I thank you for doing the job, because you do it great.
I always like to watch your podcasts with videos.
Thank you.
We are at the stand of SBF Wieser together with Christoph Wunderlich and we are talking about news and what has happened lately.
What do you want to start with?
Hey Bro, it's nice that you are here at the stand.
I would say, let's start with the news, what has happened, what have we done this year, what has been delivered so far.
If that would be okay for you.
Wieser coaster, Rastiland and next year in Kopfalzpark and Skyline Park.
I hope we can do a few. That's the nice thing, you always ask directly and we have nothing to hide.
So, our company is called Broadgen Technology and we are based in Taiwan.
And our company is around 20 years for now.
And then we go on IPO in 2012 and now we got 300 people in our group.
This is our flying theater and the system is called M-Ride, which is focused on the movement of the pitch.
So after M-Ride, iRide is our iconic product.
So for iRide we have different kinds of locations and which are very famous in European area, like Volatarium in Europa-Park.
My name is Tom Bowens and we are here at Lagotronics Projects.
So, we are now here at the stand of Rädervogel.
I don't drag the guys in front of the camera again, we did that for the first time in 2017.
Don't watch the video, I don't think it was that good.
But Rädervogel is one of the most important established manufacturers for heavy-duty wheels and in our case roller coaster wheels.
And that's the size of a roller coaster wheel, you've all seen that before.
You know that, that's normal.
There is also something smaller, but there is also, if we go over here a little bit, a little bigger.
That's pretty impressive and is often used.
But there are also attractions, tracks, from a big German manufacturer,
which combine roller coaster and water coaster, I think they are unique in Europe.
And these are boats, launched boats, which go over roller coaster rails and go through water.
And this is a wheel of it.
This is a wheel of, I don't think it's a secret, that this is from the Power Splash from Mack Rides.
That's sick.
It's not necessary that these holes are in here, but that's a bit like the CI, the logo and the style of Rädervogel.
And that makes the wheel a lot easier if you take away the material here, because that's all full material.
And we have also stood under such a Power Splash boat and seen the models and everything.
And these are the wheels, that's sick.
Maybe also about roller coaster wheels, to briefly explain how it works,
that the train can't slide and that you can ride a roller coaster safely.
Here we have an exemplary rail and then we have the wheel I just mentioned.
You have to imagine that if you are on a normal roller coaster, where you sit on the rail.
You sit here and that's the boogie under you.
The whole thing is the boogie, the axle.
That's the wheel, that runs on top of the rail.
Then, so that the whole thing doesn't lift off, for example with airtime and lifting forces,
there are the so-called up-stop wheels, which are below.
We have them down here.
And the side guide wheels, so that it stays in the track and is guided sideways.
Here is also an example of a boogie with wheels for a Gerstlauer layout.
And that's what Rädervogel does, among other things.
In addition, they have really cool tables with wheels on them and are pretty cool and come from Hamburg.
And yes, that's also a part here that I think is worth mentioning.
And Vigant Water Slides, is that right?
Or Vigant World of Slides.
And we have Miro Gronau at the start.
So what's new?
Because with the dry slide, where we also build a lot of them,
the Harz tower will open soon.
Yes, in the Harz.
The one we are currently installing has the WeGlow concept in it for the first time.
That's black light painting.
Now many towers, many large slides, also new innovations.
Among other things, now also light things.
A lot has been done.
In fact, the company you may know, the water slide company from the Netherlands, Van Ectum,
unfortunately went bankrupt.
In addition, X-Slide, which we introduced last time.
The intersection in a water slide, we have now signed up for the patent
and also made our first test drives on the farm.
That has already worked.
It also didn't work a few times, but now it worked.
Also Hendrik Vigant has already slipped personally.
Then Coaster Kart, also a few news.
We now have a ...
My name is Yannick Jem.
I'm Vice President Sales and Marketing.
I've been with the company for two years now.
We're creators of fun.
The walkthrough experience I was talking about before for PUBG
is a combination of things that we do.
And it's very difficult to explain.
Sorry, guys.
But if I do a little bit of room.
So you have your queue lines here.
And I want to create a story.
But if I leave from wherever I am,
I need to bring you into another world.
I don't have enough money for that.
But for the show we have a special rate.
It's 5%.
Oh, really?
By the way, it's the first time in the career of Ride Review
that the two are standing behind the camera
and not such a medium thing.
So, almost in front of the camera.
Yes, you're right, of course.
We're not at the fair.
And another one in front.
Further away.
That's good?
Yes.
All right, okay.
What do you say about the event here?
Now I have the microphone, but not the camera.
But that's better.
Okay, I should have known that.
Yes, okay, here.
Ah, cool.
Neat.
No, I've never had that.
No, I don't think so.
I don't think so.
Okay.
Once again, welcome to the Art Engineering booth.
The beer seems to have tasted.
Judith still has something.
Dennis unfortunately has nothing more.
Photos are taken of me here.
I don't think that's okay at all.
So, you were one of the first to see the Lagoon
and the new Primordial layout from the inside.
I would like to know how you liked the ride,
which you unfortunately did not do.
That was the best roller coaster ride of my life.
I've been a drinker since then.
Okay, that's really nice to hear.
I would probably also be a drinker if I had seen what you saw
and not been allowed to talk about it.
But how did you find what you were not allowed to tell?
Exciting.
Interesting.
Hashtag 90 centimeters.
I think that's going to be a bit tight.
But I thought it was great to have this great interview
almost with myself at the Art Engineering booth.
In that sense, see you soon.
They said we have to ...
Exactly.
No, no, no, no, no.
This is the respective street here.
Oh, look at them.
Now it works.
It's not embarrassing at all.
You're hungry, aren't you?
As warm as it was just now in there.
The first day at the fair on the show floor is over.
We are now with the opening reception.
This is the last house here on Vienna Prater.
Yes, folk music.
But it's Budweiser.
That's nice.
And the food is really good.
Especially those who remember London so much,
is now in heaven.
It's amazing.
Yes, now you also kill loud when I talk.
And Tom Schmidt, the tuna fish fits on the camera.
It's really cool to get in here with the crooked music.
And the Quidditch commode is a bit photogenic.
Three girls.
So, my friends of the sun.
We're leaving the Schnitzelhaus.
Schweizer Haus.
My God.
That's in there.
Maybe I'll go to Starflyer again.
And then it goes from ...
And then it goes from the opening reception
to plan B party for Move Motion.
Have you heard that before?
Before I forget to tell you.
How are you?
Oh no.
I don't want to be on camera again.
Oh, she already has.
Exactly.
Julia, your husband is looking for you.
Right. Review.
I don't think she's looking for me.
Have you ever consumed alcohol?
I get such vibes, I think.
I would like to have an almond blood ice cream
from the Brochtberger family.
Or Jägerweiss ice cream for dinner.
Is that a syringe?
No.
It's getting serious.
Do you know the YouTube channel Ride Review?
Of course.
Have you ever heard of the voiceover of Ride Review?
Of course.
Please don't do this to me.
What are you doing?
Let's go.
Just once.
Guys, I'm afraid I have to bite you.
Unbelievable.
Oh my gosh.
Chills.
Do you feel it?
Yes.
Do it again.
Goosebumps.
Exactly, I'm a dog.
And my...
And tail.
My tail?
No.
My hind tail.
Yes, your hind tail.
Your hind tail.
My hind tail, yes.
I think we should...
Should we be from another country?
No.
We're international fans.
No.
I'll take the carousel.
I'll put it all the way down in the card game.
About here.
I'll put it in here.
I'll cut it again.
I'll put it all the way up.
About that.
Oh, come on.
Are there any questions?
How do you do it?
Everyone, do something.
Everybody, do something.
Ok, one more.
Ok, yes!
Robert, the Carousel.
Let's put it in the middle.
Do you want me to pull it?
Stop.
Do you put it in here?
Do I put it in here?
Here, here, here, Robert.
Here, here.
Here, here, here, here.
No!
This can't be!
No!
That's not possible!
This can't be.
Thank you.
That was the best one, wasn't it?
The noise with which we are being woken up in our hotel,
they are tearing down a door or something.
Hotel, apartment.
Yes, yesterday again briefly,
come, I'll do it outside.
So, briefly explained again for completeness,
we were yesterday after the fair,
at the opening reception,
that is still within the framework of the fair,
and after that we were invited to Plan B.
This is the party of Move Motion, Movie Motion.
This is a company for videos, photos,
and everything you can imagine,
in the leisure industry,
and especially for parks and manufacturers,
and has been around for a billion years.
It was very, very cool,
it was fun,
and good evening in the Prateralm.
But somehow,
the opening reception and Plan B,
hardly filmed,
but all the time with all kinds of nonsense,
which is also correct.
But you have just seen a few impressions.
So, day two,
and we're going to have breakfast at Billa,
and then it's off to the fight.
My name is Alexandra Grothaus,
and I am the managing director of the animal and leisure park in Thüle.
Yes, and we have a very special reason
that we are here at the fair,
because the nice man here next to me,
yes, we have a contract with him today.
Now it's up to him to introduce himself.
Yes, thank you very much.
My name is Georg Behringer,
I am from Art Engineering,
managing director of the company,
together with Oliver Bierling,
and I am also very, very happy
that we are sitting next to each other so nicely,
because we have decided and signed something great.
Welcome back here at the Art Engineering booth
at the IAPA Expo Europe in Vienna.
Thank you very much, dear ride review team,
for honoring us here again.
To my right, Georg Behringer,
the co-owner of the company,
behind us, Man & Woman.
My name is Christian von Elberfeld,
I have the great honor
and I am the proud managing director
of Mack Rides in Waldkirch.
Yes, there are actually big plans,
as you can see behind us,
the Big Dipper, we come from Mack Rides,
and we will have a vehicle type Stryker,
the further development of the normal Big Dipper.
So there is this Big Dipper train
with Big Dipper roller coasters, I would say,
and we get a Big Dipper roller coaster type
with a Stryker vehicle.
My name is Thorsten Schmidt,
I am the director of business development
for Mack Rides, which means sales,
marketing, product development.
I am often the first contact person
when it comes to layout.
The product of Skyline Park
or Mirabellania,
from the Desperate Race,
this is a model of the Bike Fun,
of course not the big size,
but small scale.
Today we brought it to the fair
to show that we can also be interactive here,
by tilting the seat.
Last year we already had it in London,
with the big model,
where you could tilt yourself and even sit inside.
We didn't bring it this year,
but to visualize it anyway,
with the length of the train,
it is here today in small.
I am Sven Poppelier,
I am the product and project manager
at Bold Move Nation.
And so we are known to create dark rides,
AR, VR attractions,
and we also do theming and we create media.
So we have the whole package,
we can offer the turnkey products for the customer,
so they don't need to worry about anything
and we take care for them.
So this is the general concept,
and you might recognize it
from other attractions in Europe.
No!
So, Easter bunny.
That's gone, man.
Already gone?
Stupid guy.
Thank you.
I'll get back to you in the vlog,
which I haven't done in a while.
The second day of the exhibition is over now.
We've seen a few shots.
We were just at a restaurant
and now we went to an address
that we probably don't have a hundred percent.
We went to the address where we were supposed to go.
And we don't know what's going on here,
and we weren't told,
but we have an invitation.
Let's have a look.
There's only one house number, right?
34.
Okay, that was the right way,
but it was too short.
Uschi is sick in the meantime.
That's not good.
The poor little one.
Very hot.
25.
It's on that side.
Theoretically, yes.
We really don't know.
32 is the wrong direction.
Of course.
And then this is where we have to go.
It's a bit personal, isn't it?
It also fits somehow.
Theater.
Ah, yes.
It was said that it should be filmed
as I try to get in.
I don't even know where I want to get in.
Maybe here?
Yes.
That looks good.
Because here is a drink machine with whiskey bottles.
That's already ...
Yes, please hold that.
Yes, I'll do it.
The question is ...
Can I just press it now?
Here is the door.
Yes.
Let's look at the map.
Hello.
You have to get in now, right?
Oops.
It has to light up.
Hold on to the black button.
I just pressed it.
I don't understand.
Ah, now.
How are you guys?
Hello.
Sorry, I don't understand you.
Hello.
Welcome to Fitzcarraldo.
Hello.
Are you from the zoo?
Yes.
All right.
Thank you very much.
You're welcome.
As you have seen ...
First of all, I always get sick in the evening.
We are on our way back to the hotel.
We found this place very quickly
and recognized where we have to go.
People came a little later
and had stories to report.
You don't believe that.
You can't imagine that.
I'm not in a position to tell you that.
Even if you don't know who it was.
But maybe you could deduce something
from the gossips you just saw.
But it was a bit like a maze.
And you thought it belonged to the show.
But it didn't belong to the show.
And by the way ...
It took 22 minutes.
That's an average of 22 minutes.
Not from me, but ...
Cool location.
Very strong.
Beautiful evening with beautiful people.
But we're going to bed now.
And tomorrow we'll continue.
The video will continue in part three
of the Japan Expo Europe 2023 here in Vienna.
That's not our Uwe.
No.
Not at all.
But we have to be there already, right?
No, that's coming soon.
Okay, that's coming now.
The Rudolf.
That's what I wanted to say.
Good morning.
The laundry is still hanging here in the window.
But it doesn't matter.
And we have ...
Wow, it's dirty here.
Yesterday was wild again.
Day three.
Japan Expo Europe.
And ...
We're in Vienna.
Have breakfast quickly.
Then we'll jump over.
Put our luggage down.
And then we still have a lot to do today.
We are now here ...
Actually in hall C.
And there's another hall on it.
And in here is ...
Battle Card.
We have to get out of here now.
Exactly.
So my name is Lars Hartmann.
I have been working for the company HUS since 2019.
Mainly in sales and for the further development of our driving systems.
And HUS is just a Bremer company that has been producing driving goods on the market for over 50 years.
Starting with the show business and later from the 2000s mainly parking lots.
The brand HUS is already well over 100 years old and also settled in the Bremen area.
I am Marco Filipsky.
And we are in Vienna today.
At the Japan Expo.
At the Sankin Exhibition Center.
And we are very happy that we can present you and your channel with our new wheelchair.
So guys.
That's it.
Now finally with the exhibition videos.
The last day of the year at Expo Europe 2023 here in Vienna is just coming to an end.
We haven't all flown out yet, but everyone is dripping out.
We're on our way to the airport now.
And there were a lot of individual videos.
So that the manufacturers and parks get the attention they deserve.
And on the other hand, so that everything is sorted and you can see exactly what you want to see and what interests you.
And everything we showed you and so on, we'll keep you up to date.
So don't forget to subscribe.
And otherwise we'll see you every day at 6 p.m. again for a new video here on the YouTube channel.
At 6 p.m. every day, I just said that.
I don't even know.
I'm through.
Three days of exhibition is also with us at some point.
It was fun.
It was awesome.
And many thanks to everyone who supported and supported us here.
